Posted: 27 Feb 2018 09:31 PM PST https://twitter.com/elastos_org/status/968693627441446912 New Energy Exchange is backed by Huawei and Panda Green (who have built a solar power plant for the UN and are a massive renewable energy company with a plan to build 100 renewable energy plants and are one of the first dApps for Elastos, Panda Coin). New Energy Exchange is a complete industrial chain for renewable energy sources in china, on the the blockchain. China has recently taken the global lead in renewable energy initiatives and markets. It's a massive industry and only getting bigger. Elastos also just won the Binance community vote and is already partnered with NEO (Da Hongfei is also an advisor to Elastos), SAIC (largest carmaker in China), AVIC (Chinese air defense), and is backed with investment money from Huawei, Alibaba, and Tencent founder Xiaosong to name a few partners and backers. Elastos is like an iceberg, the more you look the more you find. More on NEX, Elastos' new partner: New Energy Exchange, together with Huawei and Panda Green Energy, convened a special blockchain meeting in Shenzhen. Huawei will help the three parties to officially launch the blockchain plan. The organic combination of new energy and Internet technology will become a new direction for the future development. At the start-up meeting, nearly 20 executives from New Energy Exchange, Huawei's well-known blockchain technical experts and Panda Green Energy discussed the principle and development of the application of blockchain technology in physical business, and studied the application of Micro-grid and smart grid cases. Mr. Zeng Xiangyi, chairman of New Energy Exchange, exchanged views with experts and guests present on the energy future of blockchain and reached a consensus on cooperation. Panda Green will commission the New Energy Exchange to build an intelligent power station management system, which will focus on the application of blockchain technology. Through the supply of new energy, mining machine research and development, bitcoin trading and investment, as well as the development of the blockchain with the development of the energy internet, a complete industrial chain will be established. The New Energy Exchange will enable clean energy sources such as solar, wind and hydropower to better implement blockchain technology and extend the application of blockchain technology to all over the world with the help of Panda Power's international platform. Fee-split/PoS coins are cheap again. Which ones are the best buys for passive income? Posted: 27 Feb 2018 07:20 PM PST With bitcoin steady at 10,000 or so, many altcoins are now bottoming out. The biggest drops seemed to come from fee-split coins and PoS coins, which means it's time to buy again. I hate selling my crypto holdings and so I'm looking to make some passive income with these types of coins. Here's what I've found after researching: Cryptopia Fee Shares (CEFS) - This one seems like the best choice for passive income based on my research. There are a fixed 6300 coins in existence and the price is $1900 per coin, meaning the market cap is only 12 million USD - yet Cryptopia's volume is on par with Kucoin's and way higher than COSS's. My theory is that the apparent "high price" per coin is scaring people off, because buying a fee split coin at 12 million USD cap seems like a huge steal to me. It payed out at $180/CEFS last month, which is an ~8% ROI each month. It also pays based on what you hold at the end of the month, which is tomorrow, so I'm probably going to buy in tonight and see how the payout goes. COSS - This is the only one I already own, and I bought in at $0.20. I am considering buying more. For some reason though, nobody trades on their exchange. It is truly not a bad exchange. This one also feels like a hidden gem, it's just that the volume is so low that the ROI is less than 1% right now. It's the risky buy for the future. Kucoin Shares - Down from $20 to $4, now at a 400 million dollar market cap. Seems like a decent chance to buy in. Can anyone comment who owns some? QRL (Quantum Resistant Ledger) - Set to launch the mainnet this month, it will start as proof of work and transition to PoS later this year, so it's a long-term HODL - especially since Quantum Computers are still in the development phase. PIVX - Like buying DASH at $35. The ROI is small now but it's a hold in case it increases in value. Great, community run project as well. I'll likely be buying in unless anyone knows of any red flags that make DASH superior or something. Lisk and Ark - Great but still too expensive, feel like I've missed the boat on those two to really see any big ROIs long-term Any comments on these coins or suggestions for others I didn't list are greatly appreciated. Bittrex please help. I'm losing my mind Posted: 27 Feb 2018 01:53 PM PST This is my last resort. I've been trying to get a hold of bittrex in anyway I could so that I get a response from them ASAP. I have emailed bittrex, opened a support ticket(Request #1236127), tweeted to @richiela, posted my problem on the bittrex subreddit(https://np.reddit.com/r/Bittrex/comments/80kkkt/new_ip_address_detected/) Most of you know that when you have an ISP provider that has dynamic IP address, almost everytime you log in on bittrex they will require you to log in on your email to confirm the log in. I used my university email address to register and last week they have deactivated it due to me not being an alumni(transfered out). I can't log in at all because of the email confirmation despite having 2FA. I have a sizable amount of ZClassic that I need to sell or take out of bittrex until tomorrow 5PM UTC(fork date) and I can't log in. I've lost thousands of dollars already not being able to sell on the peak and I wont even be able to take it out for the BTCP fork. What do I do? I'm not getting any response and the fork date is tomorrow. P.S. I've asked my uni for an extension and have been approved already. I've made sure that mailer@bittrex.com is whitelisted and checked all spam EDIT: Please upvote for visibility UPDATE: There is nothing left I can do at this point. I have already prepared necessary steps to receiving the fork coins if by some miracle I get help from bittrex within 12 hrs. my uni has confirmed that I have full access and I should be receiving said emails. My suspection is that my emailaddress was delisted from automated emails from bittrex due to inactivity. Very unfortunate turn of events: having my emailaddress deactivated on FEB.20 and only the IP changing before logging in yesterday... therefore only finding out about the email deactivation yesterday... and Zclassic forking TOMORROW. This really sucks but there's nothing left I can do. Ofcourse I do regret using my university email, but most of the other exchanges do not require the email step verification. 2FA should be enough. I guess I will just accept that I will lose majority of my capital considering zclassic will be worth nothing after this fork. [link] [comments]

I see little commercial potential for the internet for the next 10 years - Bill Gates Posted: 27 Feb 2018 09:50 PM PST Yes. The genius Bill Gates said this at Comdex in 1994. He is about as clueless as a boomer can possibly get about technology. He also said that OS/2 would be the most important piece of software ever. Don't forget, he got DOS by deception, so basically he, like Steve Jobs is a thief. Couple this with the fact he's a boomer and you know that his criticism of cryptocurrency is a positive boon for the space. He is a broke ass no-coiner scum. [link] [comments]

Warning! HitBTC is withholding about 20kUSD from me!!! Posted: 27 Feb 2018 11:58 PM PST Now before i cop a lot of shit for my mistake id like to say, I'm very aware of my fuck up, but i cant seem to understand why its taking so long to rectify this issue. I'm willing to pay a fair price to get this rectified. But the morale of the story is I just want my tokens back. Over 2 months ago I made the mistake of sending ICX to my ICN exchange address. I've been waiting to get my tokens back. I have been told it takes up to 2 months to get this sort of issue sorted. But now when I look at my support tickets they are showing over 2 months old now, I haven't heard anything reasonable from them! 79759 is the original ticket I opened over 2 months ago! The current open ticket for this issue is #109768. I also opened a new one because they seem to have updated their ticket issuing system so i can add mroe info.I just get generic automated responses from their team. I know this is my mistake and for that I'm sorry, I've learnt a very expensive mistake in complacency, I'm sure they are inundated support tickets for similar things. But at the peak value these tokens were worth over 50k usd, that's why I'm desperate to get them back! if the tokens could be sent to the exhcnage or an address I can give that would be amazing, all you have to do is use the private key to unlock them. I don't understand why this is so hard??? I can see the tokens sitting in the address on etherscan. https://etherscan.io/address/0x34cd9277e8ffd1e880a6780fa73f53b1966bd6e9 Honestly, I'm willing to pay more than the $100 release fee now, just help me out. I'm getting tired of asking for help on your twitter or sending emails/support tickets that get little to no response, Warning guys.. double check your info. I did X and lost Y. Don't be me. Support are useless and not helpful if you want to flame me for being an idiot, go for it, but everyone makes mistakes, i do hope none of you who read this make a similar mistake.
