Luckily there are smart minds on both sides of the isle and people like the Winklevoss Twins and Michael Novogratz amongst others, see the potential. Notice that all the nay sayers are those tied to the old financial system who do not want to let go. As we as a society rely on these public ledgers more and more to transact with connections to the real economy, the full potential will be realized. [link] [comments]

Posted: 20 Feb 2018 06:38 AM PST Maybe it's already been discussed over here but it is the most bold faced cash grab ever created by a corrupt regime. It's not even possible to buy it in actual Venezuelan currency, take a guess. Just another shitty ICO. [link] [comments]

Sent 10,000EUR+ to Coinbase, Never Arrived In Account, Now Frozen Out. Advice Needed Please. Posted: 20 Feb 2018 03:32 PM PST I sent a deposit of over 10,000EUR to Coinbase (SEPA transfer - same details as before, double checked, totally correct). The deposit never arrived in my account - this is 2 weeks ago - so I raised a support ticket. I have received no reply, and I can't log in to my account as I have to 'Authorise New Device' by clicking a link in an email they send. Here's the thing: No email ever arrives, and it's not a new device either. I didn't delete any cookies or anything. I have no recourse through Coinbase apparently as all avenues have been closed. I can't get into my account to raise any tickets because the emails simply don't come through. It feels like I've been robbed of a decent chuck of money. What options do I have? All replies and advice will be greatly appreciated. [link] [comments]
Posted: 21 Feb 2018 03:07 AM PST I've been doing a fair bit of research on EOS. I originally had some difficulty. Due to this, I've come up with alist of pros & cons. I've tried to be as unbiased as possible while writing this. A small percentage (less than 3%) of my holdings are in EOS. Just like any coin-focused subreddit /r/EOS is very positive & bullish on EOS, so I found it too biased to DYOR. (as expected, most dedicated coin subreddits are fairly biased) First, a bit of background. Similar to Ethereum, EOS is a platform for the development of dApps. The goal is to combine the benefits of other platforms together, resulting in an huge opportunities for scaling. EOS wants to lower the barrier of entry for devlopers seeking Blockchain solutions. Pros:
Cons:
What do you think? I'm sure I missed some things, please do correct me if I'm wrong. [link] [comments]

Diamonds are the original shitcoin Posted: 20 Feb 2018 06:20 AM PST Diamonds are the original shitcoin. Nobody knows where they come from, what they're worth, and they're all pre-mined. Cartel companies encourage you to hodl for a lifetime- they insist "a diamond is forever". Every engagement ring makes the buyer a bagholder. And there is no exchange to sell them on- if you're lucky enough to find a buyer, you lose*(from loose) half the value immediately. Plus, they have had 75 years of advertising shilling for them, in every facet of popular culture. Furthermore, diamonds have been complicit in government coups, humanitarian violence, child slavery, and ecological & environmental disaster. The movie "Blood Diamond" and the song "Diamonds from Sierra Leone" are good examples of the turmoil created by the diamond industry. If you'd prefer to hang on to your capital and use a factory made diamond backed by your investment, check out https://ouroborostoken.com/ [link] [comments]
