Well everyone, after holding for three years, I just sold off everything. Posted: 04 Feb 2018 12:49 PM PST Every last penny, nickel and dime. Gone. While it's been a fun ride of collecting, the direction of the market is just too clear to ignore. I am so glad there are coin machines at Wal-Mart to help me convert this spare change to cash. You would be surprised how much money gets lost in your car over the years. Now, to buy more crypto. [link] [comments]

Finally seeing some scared people. Posted: 04 Feb 2018 06:49 PM PST Since the market started dipping all I've seen are all the "HODL" and "BUY THE DIP" . Im finally starting to see a lot more people talk about how they all pulled out. Very happy to see this. This means it's time for me to finally buy. [link] [comments]
Every crypto sub when prices plummet Posted: 04 Feb 2018 10:56 AM PST [Reposting because a bot deleted my first attempt] This is a much-needed correction This is a long-term investment It's still up 500% from [date that precedes buy date for 95% of subreddit] The whole market is in the red not just [coin of choice] Whales are keeping the price down It's not about a quick profit, it's about the technology Just shaking off the weak hands You haven't lost money until you sell You've only lost time, not money. [coin of choice] is on sale again! Another [XX]% discount! Just bought more! Take a month off from watching the market [current month] is always the worst for crypto something something Chinese New Year something something Korean exchanges something something India something something Asian market waking up [link] [comments]
If you have decided to stay in the game.... Posted: 04 Feb 2018 08:29 PM PST So you've decided to hunker down and "HODL" ... Personally , I'm holding my ground, it hurts right now, but here are a few things I am doing to help my resolve and give me some comfort, thought it may help some of you. 1) may be too late for some, but of course only put in what you can afford to lose. No one wants to lose of course, but the difference between disappointment and despair hinges on this. 2) yes I'm posting here, but I've all but stopped reading forums.. it's riddled with far too many emotions and most are negative. This doesn't help the psyche. Stop the torture of checking Blockfolio and step away to do things that make you feel good, play with your kid, hang with your friends, go to the gym.. whatever, you get the idea. 3) this one has really helped, read up and research the very projects that got you here. Dive in and remind yourself of how awesome some of this stuff is and that there is truly revolutionary, industry changing shit to come. Focus on what is being built, not destroyed. If you are just focused on the money, it's difficult to see a better future. 4) understand that there is a lot of economic distress in the markets and world economy at large, it's not just a "crypto" thing. Misery does love company, but more importantly it should give some greater context to this other than blaming crypto. 5) Bitcoin has seen many crashes and each time it has come back bigger and stronger. Now we have the birth of an entire tech sector comprised of major projects, with some of the brightest minds in technology, working on meaningful projects with vast applications. There are major partnerships formed, universities, venture capitalists, government grants, and enterprise institutions involved. .. this isn't going away. It is foolish to think this is the end. We live in a digital world, now more than ever, this IS a perfect time in history for crypto. It's past the point of no return. 6) take a breath and recalibrate your timeframe. So maybe you won't 100x in the next few months, but in a few years, when this crash is a distant memory, the profits will be there. And if people begin to focus more on what it is that these projects are trying to accomplish and realize the applications and utility vs speculation, then the profits will be insane, and SUSTAINABLE. The "mania" will subside, and those that stick with it will ultimately be rewarded. Patience is gold. 7) Lastly, I still have some fiat that I'm putting in to cost average and buy my favorites at deep discount. And I've been buying a few every day instead of dumping it in all at once. I'm doing this because psychologically it really does feel good to buy "the dip", it turns a negative into a positive. And of course, don't take this as advice, I'm just saying what works for me. But IF you are looking to put more in, consider spacing it out, it'll help spread out the dopamine! Please remember, this post is meant for those who have decided to "HODL" and might be looking for some tips to keep their resolve. So please, don't call me names and dump on me if you don't like what I've written. We should support each other, not tear each other apart. Here's hoping for a little more green this week, now go read some whitepapers! 💪🏼 [link] [comments]

Posted: 04 Feb 2018 11:10 PM PST Here is the post in question with some of the promoters in the comments arguing it's not a scam. I bet they wish the post history could be deleted, woops. Direct link to the comment thread with imfamous craig-grant shilling it. [link] [comments]
Posted: 04 Feb 2018 02:12 PM PST I just so sick of minimums for buy/sell orders. I'm sick of only having 3 decimals of precision for what I'm buying/selling. I'm sick of the crazy high fees. I'm not saying binance needs to get rid of fees, like cobinhood, but just anything would be more reasonable. The dust is out of control. Some people have more value sturk in dust than they do tradeable amounts... Enough is enough. I'm moving everything off binance... Even though it means other exchanges don't support all the alt coins... I'm just not putting up with the fee-gauging. /Rant Thanks for the privilege of participating with you all. :) [link] [comments]

Posted: 04 Feb 2018 07:41 PM PST I am probably going to get a lot of downvotes for this but I just can't stand reading all those retarded comments. Everyone is shilling their own holdings and explains why 'xxx' is better than 'zzz' because it has 1 million tps and it is so decentralized and your coin is centralized shit etc. 99% of you have no idea what you are talking about and are literally copying what someone else said elsewhere without any factual info whatsoever. I'm tired of all the BTC vs. BCH because roger is a scam and blockstream is bad. I'm tired of all those sheep saying NEO is better than VEN and QTUM is better than NEO and WTC is the best because NEO/VEN/QTUM/WTC has the 'real' partnership with the Chinese Government. Every coin has its own use case and it's pluses and minuses. Why can't we all live in peace and enjoy what is going on around us with crypto. We are in this together. Most cryptocurrencies can coexist, the shitcoins will disappear over time anyway and the best ones will end up on top. So just buy and hold what you believe in and if you want to convince someone of why a coin is so great do it in a normal way and not comparing it to the next best coin and talking shit about it without even knowing what you are talking about. And last but not least don't let the dips get to you. If you buy the right stuff you will be filthy rich in a few years anyway so don't look at everything on a day to day basis. Disclaimer: I don't know what I'm talking about most of the time :) [link] [comments]

I have to say it, because it's rally starting to scare me. Posted: 04 Feb 2018 08:15 AM PST I have seen the same post over and over on this sub, as well as others. Jp Morgan, citi group, all those banks not allowing that purchase of crypto with a credit card. Im not scared by that. Why would i be? What scares me is the absolute chaos found in those comment sections by people who either aren't reading the title of the post, or just do not have the financial sense to differentiate between credit, and any other form of payment. Firstly, credit is NOT your money, it's money that the BANK is loaning to you. So stop freaking out and saying "THEY CAN'T TELL ME HOW TO SPEND MY MONEY!". They can however tell you no to a loan you are trying to take out to buy an extremely volatile asset. The fact that they ever let us use credit is actually astounding. Secondly, if you don't know how credit works, need credit to invest, or frankly are so financially illiterate that you actually got upset by those posts, YOU SHOULD NOT INVEST IN CRYPTO. You will be eaten alive, you will put money into the tron, verge, and bitconnect of the sector. And you will lose. And lastly, because I'm sure at least a percentage of people that freaked out DO in fact understand why they would revoke the PRIVILEGE of credit on an asset like crypto, I urge you to READ AND COMPREHEND. Not just the title, but at least the title. More people these days are getting 100% Of their news and info through headlines. I'm actually disgusted by it, as it makes our people as a whole entirely too malleable by the media. But for the love of fuck, AT LEAST READ THE ENTIRE TITLE, it says it right there, credit cards only. Tldr: READ THE ENTIRE THING YOU LAZY FUCK, THIS IS WHY YOU ARE POOR. YOU GET SUCKERED INTO STUPID BY THE COMBINATION OF YOUR LAZY RESEARCH AND WELL CLICKBAITED HEADLINES! [link] [comments]
