I've made 500k in profits. I'm fine. HODL is a community problem. If you can't think for yourself, you deserve to lose. I expect downvotes, but is there no one that thinks this is insane? Don't let the Internet tell you how to manage your risks/assets.

    Posted: 05 Feb 2018 07:21 AM PST

Posted this on a FB group last Friday. I'm going to offer an opinion that differs from the HODL. That's not to say I'm not going to buy back in, but it's hard to take away from Reddit's bubbled crypto subreddits, whereas "everyone" has the same hive mind mentality. Here's one that's not. Anyways.

I sold out. =\, Today's movement (+) I don't think is sustainable. I think everything is at systemic risk right now. Unlike before, this is a global sell off, and not just a concentrated one (coupled with next weeks stock action).

People understand Mt Gox happened. There is billions tied to this market, so that is also going to put a stop on buys for awhile.

The hype is dying down. People aren't getting crazy moon gains, so less people are wanting in, collectively. People are getting burned by the crazy price swings - so all the grandmas, aunts and uncles who got in Dec, sorry for your loss. There was a ton of ignorance from people that came in from Dec as well.

Further, there is a systemic risk, and it starts and stops with the exchanges. I know I keep touting this horn, but I think Bitfinex sort of fucked this entire market with monopoly money.

I don't see the market immediately recovering. A modest bump, but then back down again. At best I see Eth getting to and staying sideways $1300 for a month. At worst, $450-500. It really depends on how people treat this market, and what the hell the SEC is going to do with Tether. This is going to be a long played out process. I could be wrong, so I will stay humble.

Psychology has alot to do with it, and with each passing day - people find out more and more about this market.

Edit - I was forntunate to begin making the vast majority of my sales Dec31-Jan14, before everything went kaboom. I still have about 30 in the market. In VEN. Just incase anyone is wondering. I don't want to see people burned, just because they took Internet advice from a collective group of strangers.

Edit 2 - I've seen this hive mind mentality before with Wall Street Bets, /WSB/ and AMD stock. Moon moon moon. No, it didn't go to the moon. It crashed, and its just gone sideways ever since everyone jumped on it via Reddit - and said 'hodl'. From $15.50 to $9.00. In that time, Intel (and nVidia*) has outperformed AMD's stock. Lisa Su memes, everywhere. That is this, all over again.

Edit 3 - Even the top post in this subreddit, is Leonardo DiCaprio saying he aint going the fuck anywhere. XD. Its the top post. Do you know from that meme, how many people are actually going to subconsciously follow that advice? It's sad. If Facebook interferred in our election, Reddit is a transference of that same viral-attitude to get quick rich scheme.

Edit 4 - While we like to stick to Crypto, just be aware of what's happening in the broader markets as well. https://www.marketwatch.com/story/buckle-up-this-ultimate-bear-chart-signals-a-pivotal-moment-for-investors-2018-02-05

I did find this quote to be cynical, funny (unforntunately relevent) at the same time.

"Bull markets don't die from old age," says Guggenheim Partners CIO Scott Minerd. "They typically get shot in the head."

A look at opportunities for when the market turnaround

    Posted: 05 Feb 2018 12:41 PM PST

While the huge crash is going on, I'm have been trying to prepare for the market turnaround by looking into which ICO's and coins is best when everything is back to normal.

An interesting ICO called 'EtherJack.io' is a Ethereum game, while people might remember cryptokitties huge success, I believe if this game becomes popular it could give great returns for early investors.

It's probably controversial pick since the nature of the game, but I believe its worth it since you as an investor get the token for a cheap price, compared to players later when the game is bigger. No so much have to go right before this could be a winner.

According to their website the games code is finished and the ICO is basically for collecting the prize money for the jackpot that the game is going to hand out. As soon the ICO (and jackpot is collected) the game will start and you should see returns already there.

What I like about the ICO project:

    • The game is finish
    • Fully transparent game rules and smart contracts
    • Jackpot can not be touched by owners
    • As soon ICO stage is over, you are in green

    Negative/risks:

    • Game is controversial (could also means it will get talked about a lot)
    • Needs players that want to gamble for the jackpot

ICO token is called JACK, one JACK is currently 0.005 ETH after ICO stage it will quickly multiply as the game progresses, and this is build-in as a mechanism in the game so won't be changed.

    https://etherjack.io/

As always every investment have risk's, so do your own research before investing!

Over the next few days I will post more coins and maybe another ICO if I find anything good. It's all about being ahead of the curve.

What are the blockchain casinos and where should we put our bet?

    Posted: 05 Feb 2018 09:14 AM PST

A blockchain casino is a type of casino which implements blockchain technology for gambling to ensure maximum credibility and safety. Well, when it comes to the best blockchain casinos, what makes them special is a technology in the blockchain system called Ethereum. One specific example to be taken into account is Myoddz.bet casino (www.myoddz.bet) .

Typical casinos comprise a 'middle-man' entity in every transaction which verifies each and every transaction. This makes pretty expensive and often faulty because they are always involved in conflicting transactions. Blockchain casinos, on the other hand, operate on a totally different principle where virtually there is no intermediary to verify records but a network of many blocks that do the authentication.

Advantages of using a blockchain casino:

    • impossible to alter original data;

    • the capability for random number generation in a completely decentralized and authenticatable way;

    • cheaper compared to any other casino;

    • virtually impossible to hack.

As cryptocurrency world is growing we will attend a transition from traditional casinos to the blockchain ones. Fairness is guaranteed and the system is totally "hacker –proof" because of its decentralized nature.

Why is Myoddz.bet worth a chance?

Their system provides you dividents payouts so it's like actually owning a blockchain casino! This can be one of the last chances to invest and to get a great a ROI on a monthly basis!

    Time Travel Back To December....

    Posted: 05 Feb 2018 08:35 PM PST

Let me start by stating, Bitcoin as well as Cryptocurrency continues to CRASH today as many people start worrying for the long term of crypto since this is not just a small correction.

I believe Bitcoin continue crashing down to 5k and then will continue to rise once again. I am now BUYING a large position in Bitcoin and Ethereum and HODLING untill the bulls come back to take their place in the market and we start seeing GREEN in the market once again!

Take this as if we got a time machine and time traveled back to early December and got the opportunity to buy Crypto, wouldn't most people take that chance? That's what I believe.

Everything is on discount what are you buying and selling and why?

    Posted: 05 Feb 2018 12:34 PM PST

Everything is on major discount and opportunities to buy are abundant here is what I am buying and selling right now and why.

    BUYING:

XRB: Artificially low price due to bitgrail fiasco and terminated counts finally paying out BTC today, free, instant scalable transactions, decentralized, dedicated team, perfect for simple transactions or converting crypto to crypto, medium market cap
NEO: Great team, ETH killer, dividends pay outs in GAS, fast, free withdrawals (binance/kucoin)

XRP: Quick cheap transactions, many corporate partnerships, centralized

SUB: Getting around firewalls and encryption and allowing access to repressed people, low market cap

ICX: Great for complex transactions, cheap quick efficient great team, medium market cap

    TRADING/SELLING:

REQ: I feel any currency could make a PayPal style button for its use, doesn't have much more going for it APPC: apps can be integrated into most all complex transactions

DRGN: No longer linked with Disney, privacy is covered by other coins well, what does family privacy centric coin even mean?

KCS: Greatly reduced dividend, dividends paid in fractional amounts of every currency on exchange
