| Coinbase protecting themselves Posted: 04 Jan 2018 12:45 PM PST They never said it wasn't being added. Think about what happened with BCH. They don't want claims of insider trading. For all we know, could be deciding to add it tomorrow, based on their wording. With rumors floating around and fake videos/screenshots, they wouldn't want to actually add it and make people think they were behind the "leaks," whether real or not. Such weak hands right now. Posted: 04 Jan 2018 03:25 PM PST I know it stung getting the Coinbase news- even if it isn't a final decision, and Coinbase still may add XRP this year- but XRP held it's value (so far)! This cannot be understated. The word with XRP skyrocketing hard has always MOSTLY been "anticipation of Coinbase"- and XRP took the bullet, dipped for less than an hour, and is holding strong ($2.80, Binance). While it may still level off a bit more- my useless prediction is that it lands closer to $2- people we're not scared off of XRP despite the news, and WOW on that- and, hell, we STILL might get Coinbase, but even if we don't, WE DON'T NEED COINBASE and that news is maybe even a little bit better. | Why I'm doubling down on Ripple during this dip. Posted: 04 Jan 2018 12:07 PM PST I tried to buy another $#### worth of Ripple last night, I bought Eth on coinbase and my transfer to binance has been processing for the last 12 hours. XRP is still rapidly being added to a bunch of other exchanges, whether or not it ever ends up on coinbase doesn't really matter. What matters is if XRP ends up being the default intermediate coin like eth currently is. Crypto isn't sustainable if a transfer can ever take 12+ hours. Being able to trade to other alt-coins with XRP will make a big difference. I didn't want to make this about the current news today, there's other good threads on that. Edit: The funny and possibly ironic thing is this long processing delay saved my ass, I would have bought at what ever it was 12 hours ago, but it's still bullshit. Edit: It finally went through! 12:23AM to 2:24PM local time... Garbage. [link] [comments]  | ||
