    Just wanted to say...

    Posted: 02 Jan 2018 06:43 AM PST

I'm sorry to say, but some of you guys are so damn fickle! Just last week, everyone was so doom and gloom, and now that the market is starting to turn up again, everyone has just about turned a 180. This is cryptocurrency where the market is 24/7 and international. There are gonna be dips and there are gonna be gains, and along with that, bad times and good times. I'm just appalled how some are so quick to turn on Charlie and sell all coins, trying to spread FUD to this subreddit. You know what? For all those who sold at a loss, good! I hope that you fomo back in when the coin recovers and goes past it's next ATH. It'll be a nice lesson that we're not in this for a quick buck, we're in it because we believe in the tech and are pioneers in the adoption of this technology.

Edit: Perhaps this post came off a little negative, and I apologize. I just wanted to vent about the state of this subreddit the past few weeks.

I feel like if we lost all price data for litecoin starting at day one,

    Posted: 02 Jan 2018 08:36 AM PST

We could accurately reconstruct the price using memes from Reddit.

Just noticed that FastTech accepts bitcoin as payment. Lets get them to accept Litecoin!

    Posted: 01 Jan 2018 11:54 PM PST

I just sent off a email to https://www.fasttech.com/ asking them about the support for LTC since they are accepting BTC. Just thought I would post this here so others can do the same in hopes they will consider it as payment.

What exactly is the litecoin development team building with the millions that Charlie donated?

    Posted: 02 Jan 2018 09:46 AM PST

How exactly is this going to change how litecoin works? And it's value in the future?

We're all a little insane tbh

    Posted: 02 Jan 2018 10:27 AM PST

Lmao how is it that when LTC jumps to $245 we start posting to the moon memes and expect Lambo money in the morning. It might just drop a fuckton tmr. Who knows? Let's wait this out before acting irrationally. LTC will surge like crazy this year, but let's give Charlie and the rest of the Devs some time. In the meantime, let's buy instead of meme. The whole 'to the moon' thing is beginning to feel childish.

Relevance of LTC once LN up and running?

    Posted: 02 Jan 2018 08:42 AM PST

Not here to spread FUD. I love my LTC.

Just curious what's the reason people would still choose to keep using LTC over BTC once LN is more prevalent. I understand the whole 4x faster, but is that still relevant once LN is working?

There's so much tension regarding Litecoin

    Posted: 01 Jan 2018 08:51 PM PST

Is anyone else nervously excited as hell about the next few days/weeks regarding Litecoin?

I've just felt like there's been so much tension building up, this big 2018 "rumor", Lee selling his coins to avoid potential conflict of interest, 'apparently' a lot of whales getting in on LTC (huge sudden activity spikes), LTC marketing team now on board, etc.. It just feels like there's going to be a huge burst for some reason.. it's nerve-racking just watching that LTC price moving back and forth constantly..

I need to stop checking up on this!

Litecoin needs a Super Bowl commercial

    Posted: 01 Jan 2018 09:56 PM PST

Seriously. Use some of that sweet Charlie Lee money and market the shit out of it. The next day people would be talking about it.

You could certainly get the cost back through the bump it would cause.

    The Sun - Litecoin

    Posted: 02 Jan 2018 03:30 AM PST

No this is not a post declaring we are going to the Sun! I stumbled across this article today, imo its terrible but at least Litecoin made it into a National UK newspaper (LTC Marketing team?)

    https://www.thesun.co.uk/money/5121648/litecoin-value-buy-price-cryptocurrency-bitcoin/

*For those Non UK readers - The Sun, also known as the daily rag due to its bogus news stories and trash celeb gossip sells (according to google) a average of 1,978,324 copies A DAY in the UK and selected European destinations.

Sending from my exchange to my nano s

    Posted: 02 Jan 2018 10:43 AM PST

hey fellows, I am going to send my ltc from the exchange im using to my nano s ledger. It requires a fee of 0,03 LTC for sending it. Is this what my exchange rates for sending? Also, my Nano S is a segwit address. Is that p2sh converter website legit? I want to send all of it (its not super much) at once so I dont have to pay that darn 0,03 LTC fee twice.

So in short, is it safe to send my LTC in one go to my Nano S segwit address using the converter? And is the 0,03 LTC fee normal?

EDIT: What if I were to change my Segwit wallet to a Legacy wallet on my Nano S. Is this possible? If so, how do I do this. What are the cons if I were to do it?

Im sorry for the many questions, just want to be cautious doing this. Hope you understand.

    Thanks for your time.

Electrum-LTC running on TAILS is painfully slow and using large amount of resources but only when connected to TOR.

    Posted: 02 Jan 2018 10:39 AM PST

I downloaded Electrum-LTC and whenever I run it while connected through TOR it is painfully slow, like it is using all system resources. Other programs work fine during this. If I click tabs in Electrum-LTC it takes like 5 seconds to respond.

Anyone know what the fuck this could be? It's really, really frustrating.
