Japan’s Line Chat app starting Crypto exchange Posted: 30 Jan 2018 11:53 PM PST Japan's biggest chat app is launching a cryptocurrency exchange: https://qz.com/1193770/japanese-chat-app-line-is-launching-a-cryptocurrency-exchange/ Chat/messenger platforms are the next frontier in mass adoption. They can leverage the huge user base they have. Just look at the massive ecosystem WeChat built up (w/o crypto involved). Now look at Telegram with its massive ICO plans, or Kik with its Kin token which is currently trying to build a whole ecosystem and you can get an idea of the road ahead for crypto mass adoption... Anyone getting ignored by Kraken? Posted: 31 Jan 2018 07:28 AM PST Is anyone else experiencing ZERO follow-up from Kraken, and missing deposits? I wired CAD on Jan 5th (using their specific directions), opened a ticket (143900) on Jan 22nd due to my initial deposit never showing up in my account, and I escalated that on Jan 25th, and twice since then. It's January 31st and no response on my ticket. My money has been missing for almost a month. Such a terrible first impression. [link] [comments] |
Kraken API: REST vs Websockets Posted: 31 Jan 2018 08:04 AM PST Hi folks, Currently Kraken provides only REST API officially. But Kraken website get all info (OrderBook / Trades) via Cryptowat.ch WebSockets service. Funny that Cryptowat.ch actually belongs to Kraken :) Now the question is: are those sets of data identical and in-sync? Someone told me that there is a gap between REST and WebSockets. I don't remember, to be quite honest, which one from them has delay. Make it sense to dig into Cryptowat.ch WebSockets service? It more convinient for usage (push model) and not too much complex to perform reverse engineering. UPD: For example different figures in 1h candles [link] [comments] |

Bitcoin Bearish/Bullish News Index Posted: 30 Jan 2018 04:58 PM PST About a month ago I found a website that publishes on a daily basis the percentage of daily news that is bullish or bearish. I can no longer find this site and it is driving me insane. Does anyone know what I am talking about? Please share if you do! [link] [comments] |
BTC Chart Analysis...finding support but must close above 10431 Posted: 31 Jan 2018 08:36 AM PST BTC found support at WS2 but needs to break another downtrend. The WP (Weekly Pivot) at 11306 seems like a long shot this week based on the weak action. We'll find out in a day or 2 whether BTC can break the downtrend or head lower. The 1st hurdle is for BTC to close above WS1 @ 10421 A close on the 4hr candle below S2 at 9890 will make a retest of the 11-17 low at 9231 almost a certainty IMO. [link] [comments] |
ELI5 how (fake) tether caused the price of BTC to (fraudulently) increase Posted: 31 Jan 2018 05:01 AM PST What was the mechanism? How were people buying bitcoin that they couldn't otherwise buy? [link] [comments] |
Exporting all records from Bitfinex? Posted: 30 Jan 2018 03:30 PM PST Does anyone know how I can export all trading and deposit/withdraw history from Bitfinex? Currently I can only do 3 months at a time. [link] [comments] |

Will BTC and the crypto market ever recover?? Posted: 30 Jan 2018 07:42 PM PST I feel like the market is maturing and people are becoming more skeptical of cryptos, limiting overall market growth. After trading sideways for a couple weeks, the market has now broken out DOWNWARDS. I worry this is just the new reality: a bear market that may never turn bull again. [link] [comments] |
Monday Blockchain sales sheet (on Tuesday) / Tony Ramos / January 30, 2018 Posted: 30 Jan 2018 11:15 AM PST Mr. Ramos has returned from having the flu that is currently gripping Washington, D.C.
