I just finished a scan of reddit and twitter, searching for Bittrex support issues. It's ridiculous to read about some clients of theirs who have been waiting 4+ months for a response, let alone a resolution.

This just isn't right. They happily accepted our deposits to trade. That's an agreement that our issues should be dealt with in good faith, in a timely manner and with open communication.

The backlog excuse, I've heard it many, many, many times before. That's not our problem. It's theirs. And whatever they have to do to resolve and lessen the backlog, do it. No more excuses.

Hire more staff. Change the resolution process. Increase shifts. Overtime. So many options.

God doesn't need to tell us you're rolling in crypto right now. I'm sure the funds are there to implement whatever possible improvements are necessary and give people back their money.

Do you think support is this tough with the largest traditional stock brokerage sites? Or banks? Not even a chance. After a 10 minute call, issues are rectified. And that includes waiting on hold for five minutes.

This is from their twitter account on December 14, 2017...

"We have turned off user registration for a DB upgrade due to a large spike in new user sign ups."

What about support upgrades? That's great about your new DB but seems like your tickets are only going to increase now by being able to handle more sign-ups. More congestion. More waiting.

I currently have over $15,000 in support tickets with them. I know I'm not the only one. But if there is no fire under their ass, nothing will get done in a timely manner.

POST YOUR ISSUES HERE AT REDDIT.COM/R/BITTREXSUPPORTLOGS.

They are not listening on twitter anymore so here's another way for us to voice and let them know we won't tolerate the way they're handling OUR money.

Subscribe. Post. Upvote other posts. Comment. That's the only way we'll get this rolling.

And if you haven't had to file a support ticket, lucky you. I hope you'll never have to. But help us out anyway.

I see a lot of complaints about exchanges that are strictly user errors. Many are legit, but for some new people here's common errors that aren't actual problems.

    Posted: 13 Jan 2018 06:00 PM PST

    1) Obviously sending a coin to the wrong address is your fault, not an exchanges fault. Be very careful when sending money and making sure the addresses are correct.

    2) If you have a pending trade that hasn't been completed, it usually means the price has either gone up or gone down since you placed it. Just cancel the order and place another buy/sell order.

    3) If you send and transfer a coin that is recently gone up a lot in price, expect long delays. Coins that are really popular usually get backlogged as the blockchains can't always support it.

    4) A lot of accounts require email verification, make sure you check your email once you start a withdrawal.

    5) Make sure you read about which coins are currently having delays. Bitcoin is usually pretty slow, Ethereum has been slow before due to lots of activity, and other coins routinely are marked to be slower.

*I've been trading Crypto for over 5 months and have used 10 exchanges now. I have not had any issues with them minus once in a blue moon a transaction takes a little longer than expected. Really makes me wonder how many people new to the game are having personal issues and blaming the exchanges. Let's save the support tickets for legit errors and issues.

**High traffic and high volume mean delays. Try to not do so much trading and transferring and withdrawing. Let your money sit. Trade only when needed.

[APP] Do I Have A Lambo Yet?

    Posted: 13 Jan 2018 09:21 AM PST

    Hello everyone,

The cryptospace is getting crazier by the minute. Pump this, dump that, hodl, lambos, moons, fuds and shills. I noticed Google Play is full of serious apps, most of them saying will do everything you need, few of them barely working as intended (by the way, I recommend Bitsnapp by /u/lriccardo)

So as a wanna-be Android developer I pretend to be, I decided to have some fun. I present to you...

Do I Have A Lambo Yet?

Not even joking. I made a simple portofolio app which tells you if you have enough bitcoins to buy a Lambo.

Instead of refreshing Delta nervously looking for every .1% gain you should focus on the big picture. Lambos.

    Enjoy!

even though the app is real, this is obvisouly a joke, don't take it too serious please.

    Trade Recommendation: Litecoin

    Posted: 13 Jan 2018 10:04 PM PST

Am I the only one disappointed with the Kraken "Upgrade" and not just the ammount of time it took.

    Posted: 13 Jan 2018 08:55 AM PST

When I first started trading crypto I used Kraken, being for from the EU it was great to be able to get Euro in and out quickly. I loved their margin trading and all the advanced orders that went with it.

I was expecting so much more from this completely necessary "upgrade". I say this in commas because all that has happened is the site is now usable. Where is the advanced order types? I can't set a stop loss? How can one margin trade with no stop loss/take profit?

This all seems like such a waste of time with the likes of Bitmex and Bitfinex platforms that actually work with OCO orders etc.

I'd love to hear an explanation about when these critically important order types are coming back because I eagerly awaited the upgrade and am massively disappointed. But honestly at this point I'm moving on completely.

How should I go about buying ICO's after they hit an exchange?

    Posted: 13 Jan 2018 08:12 AM PST

As a U.S. citizen I miss out on a lot of very promising ICO's due to Kyc. So I've decided to look into buying the tokens as they hit the exchange. From what I've researched the price of the tokens after an ICO is very volatile. Often times it skyrockets and then dumps. But sometimes it goes up and never goes back down to the price of the first day it launched. So my general question is this. After an ICO is done and the token hits an exchange when should I buy and in what way?

Like, should I be on it's listed exchange and ready to click the "buy" button as soon as someone tries to sell it?

Apparently the people who got into the ICO "determine" the price by selling it at what ever they feel like selling it at. I heard that some people try to sell it at ridiculously high prices as soon as the ICO launches. Especially if the ICO has good hype about it.

Should I wait a few minutes, hours, or days to see how the price settles before buying? I of course want to maximize profits by buying in as low as possible but I also don't want to be "scammed" by buying a possibly overpriced bunch of tokens. Especially if a minute later someone sells it for a much cheaper price.

How should I go about this?

Hit me with your best argument: Why should the crypto market go up another 10x?

    Posted: 13 Jan 2018 03:22 PM PST

Many people on Reddit say 5-10x will be "easy" in 2018. But it's good to be skeptical and hear some devil's advocate arguments.

    So over to you guys:

Hit me with your best argument: Why should the crypto market (e.g. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Monero) go up another 10x in the next few years?

Past performance is a non-argument and adoption may or may not happen, depending on fees, performance, economy downturn, new laws, etc.

What's your view? Would be interesting to share, thanks.

Lots of new demand is a good indication that it may. What I wonder about is how demand could change with an economic downturn (less money to play with for the average investors), unfavorable laws (e.g. punitive taxes or outright outlawing), etc. - I don't think these are likely but it's interesting to explore the possibilities, both positive and negative.

I think the BIGGEST question in crypto right now is if Bitcoin can stay the dominant currency. It has an amazing network effect and first-mover advantage. But if it can't scale quickly (6-12 months) it could lose it all and become legacy tech. This will be the core story of 2018 IMO.

    Smart Contract platforms?

What are the alternatives to ethereum in the area of smart contracts? The ones which are ready or launching contracts soon (like Waves). I am quite not satisfied with ethereum contracts design. Which blockchain can fight with ETH in the near few years, what do you think? Are there such even?

Post here your best coins to buy on the dip for fast 10x/100x growth + long-term hold <25M (my picks: BBT, MBRS, SEND, ATL, CCO - see description why)

    Posted: 13 Jan 2018 07:35 PM PST

Feel free to add me on twitter, if you want to have direct updates; once I have invested in a new coin - twitter: @NootFan

Because of the news from South Korea, the whole crypto market panicked for a moment and the BTC fell hard and now going hard up; when BTC is going up hard or hard down, then the altcoins outside the top 100 are dipping. But now after the dip, it is a great moment to buy and grow your money fast.

Just a quick update with results from my last posts on the 9th and 11th:

    • CCO: up from 1M to 4M - now after the dip at 2M
    • SEND: up from 16M to 32M - after dip 25M
    • ICOS: up from 26M to 32M - no moonshot so no dip
    • ATL: up 18M to 35M - after the dip at 23M
    • LUX: up 16M to 42M - after the dip at 33M
    • OTX: down 6M to 3.5M - they were supposed to go to two new exchanges and this did not happen yet and it caught the red wave
    • BMC up 32M to 56M - after the dip at 36M

I am content with my last calls; all went to the moon but now needed to go back halfway to get some new fuel go to mars next. Now on the dip, it is a great opportunity to still catch the trains as all projects have a lot of room to grow (check for more info my last posts).

In this post, I wanted to go more into the lowest market cap opportunities with 2 really new great projects/coins that I have taken a position in: BBT, MBRS

    • BBT 10M: They have been working 2 years to build an E-Bay 2.0 a marketplace called The Block, where E-commerce shops can offer their products without paying any fees and where shoppers can buy in privacy without advertisement/spam. The beta is already out and the platform goes totally live in Q2 already. They have a good looking website and a very clear whitepaper. - I am very bullish on this project and see it definitely has the potential to do 30x quite fast if they are getting to a new exchange.

    • MBRS 13M: a creative commerce platform that streamlines collaboration and distribution for creatives and entrepreneurs. As well a good team behind it clear website, whitepaper. I am more bullish on BBT but this project could give you faster return as it is already on Cryptopia. - I see this project hitting 75M in the near/mid future.

    • SEND 25M: Sharing Send coins through social media platforms it is a serious competitor for ReddCoin (RDD) which already has a market cap of 700M, so if it only goes half as big you are already 20X - They already integrated with Facebook and are very progressive in the roadmap and communicative on the different social media. - This one is a real steal as it is only on a few exchanges with not that much attention yet. - Update: They are releasing soon there whitepaper which gives the project more security and trust for investors and will shoot the price further up.

    • ATL 23M: Real estate on the blockchain, being able to buy houses, cars in a decentralized way: looks better in most aspects than competitor Propy which has just mooned up and is at an 90M Cap - I see this coin easily 10x in these months ---- Update: they are selecting new top advisors for the project and are very close to be listed on Bittrex; which will make the price shoot up.

    • CCO 2M: E-commerce technology that allows you to purchase online with cryptocurrency without paying any fees using their token. - Only started since November; a real underdog long-term hold but with the possibility for 100+ gains. Now only on Etherdelta and Mercatox but is expanding fast to other exchanges -- Update: the CEO of CCO mentioned to have interesting updates on the project soon.

These are merely suggestions and I advise you to do always your own research first before investing in any of these coins/projects.

PLEASE SUGGEST IN A SIMILAR MANNER YOUR PICKS PLUS THE REASONS WHY
