Why is Bitcoin (cash) listed as BCC on some exchanges? Posted: 03 Jan 2018 01:21 PM PST I see some exchanges call Bitcoin (cash) BCC and not BCH...? Why is that? That seems to confuse a lot of people because people think Bitconnect is Bitcoin, or vice-versa. Will there be a point in the future where everyone will universally list it as BCH? The media and projecting a possible next wave? Posted: 03 Jan 2018 11:37 AM PST We've seen adoption growing daily. Meanwhile money pours into speculative alts. The media seems to trash BCH, but that too shall pass. I know it's about patience, but anyone have a guess as to what it will take for some of this new money to funnel into BCH? 125B added to Market cap in 36 hrs and BCH has barely felt a wave before another retraction. Again, I know it's about patience, but are ppl associating BCH to closely with BTC mentally? I'm in heavy and long on BCH. [link] [comments]

BCH Transaction unconfirmed for 24+ hours Posted: 03 Jan 2018 01:56 PM PST I sent .1 BCH to my GDAX account, and the transaction has been unconfirmed for the past 24+ hours. The transaction isn't visible on my wallet app anymore, and the BCH still hasn't appeared in my GDAX account, but the amount has still been subtracted from my balance. I saved the transaction ID before it disappeared, and I can't find on a block explorer. Is there anything I can do? [link] [comments]

I've sold all my Bitcoin Cash for Ethereum Posted: 03 Jan 2018 12:44 PM PST We all loose in a Bitcoin v Bitcoin Cash war and we are seeing the effects of that already. Other Cryptos like Ethereum, Ripple etc will become the dominant force in 2018. Rather than waiting for the inevitable, I shipped all my Bitcoin Cash out & spread it over multiple alt coins. The return was insane, especially on Ether, Ripple & Stellar. At some point, do you invest on profit or emotion?. I chose profit [link] [comments]

Remember to please participate in the cryptocurrency survey. (completely anonymous) Posted: 03 Jan 2018 08:51 AM PST I really appreciate that so many of you have taken part. It is good for the crypto community to have some up-to-date data on crypto user demographics. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey, share the link perhaps to other media so that we can get at least 2000+ responses. The more responses, the more accurate the survey. Once we get 2000+ responses, I think we can start to draw some conclusions from the data, but ideally, the more the better. Thanks for your time and contribution. [link] [comments]

weird electrum/elctroncash BCH fork issue Posted: 03 Jan 2018 11:39 AM PST Hi Hope I can get some help. I listened to a podcast this morning and realised that I do have some unclaimed BCH. I only moved my BTC a few months after the fork has happend. I installed electroncash and restored my electrum wallet. I had about .5 BTC before the fork. Right after I have imported the wallet my .5 BCH was not in my wallet any more. I looked like it was send to another unknown address. Did I loose my BCH and was this an old transaction that replayed ? Help will be appreciated. Nar [link] [comments]
Found an old wallet and recovered it. Question about btc cash.. Posted: 03 Jan 2018 11:16 AM PST I purchased about $50 of btc back on 9-28-15, put the wallet on a usb and forgot about it. Found it last night and recovered it. There was about $900 in the wallet. :) Now as I was reading how to send it properly, I seen there was a fork and bitcoin cash etc. Mostly everything I read says that I should have the same amount of btc cash as my bitcoin wallet had before the fork. When I followed the process to get my btc cash I only had $140. This was an electrum wallet. Can someone explain the "same amount of btc cash" ? Was it based on the prices at the time of the fork? Sorry I've been away from btc since 10-2015 [link] [comments]
