New Petition Aims to make Bitcoin Cash a Default Trading Market on Coinbase

    Dear diary,

    Posted: 11 Jan 2018 09:35 AM PST

Something has been troubling me. Today it happened again.

I was at the grocery store, buying some food. For a second I looked at the fiat bills in the cash register, seeing the serial numbers and colorful pictures on them, and there I saw them for what they actually were.

Shitcoin paper wallets, without a deposit addresses. Without a private key.

The cashier gave me the change. What the hell am I going to do with these crumpled paper wallets? Where's the QR code?

Someone said: "Move away you nerd, people are waiting"

    ...uh.

Truly, I've come to the conclusion that moving away from crypto for some time would be beneficial for my mental health. I don't want my mind rewired too soon.

No, Ripple Isn’t the Next Bitcoin

    Posted: 11 Jan 2018 11:37 AM PST

The company's cryptocurrency has also seen an incredible run-up in value, but investors may have gotten the wrong idea. The exuberance was fueled, at least in part, by a belief that anyone buying up XRP was getting in on the next Bitcoin. But for some it could end up as a very expensive lesson that what they bought into is a different animal altogether.

    ViaBTC shut down mining operations.

    Posted: 11 Jan 2018 05:34 AM PST

Somehow I missed the news... I made a random decision to point my S9s at the ViaBTC BCH pool yesterday... I go to work this morning, and of course only now realize that ViaBTC shutdown their mining operation as of yesterday. Of course they still allow my S9s to connect and mine, but I can't login anymore, and I turned off automatic payment last night, lol. Oh well, my bad, I'll only be able to switch pools in 8 hours when I get home :/

    BCH Paper Wallet

    Posted: 11 Jan 2018 10:52 AM PST

I know this has been asked a lot but I couldn't find anything in the last week and I know how fast things change. I need to know how to get a paper wallet for BCH to transfer from cryptopia to hold for the candy fork. Can I use walletgenerator.net or is there a better way? Thank you

Just wanted to say thank you to the community as a whole. I just got started with all of this. My brother set me up with 500$ in BCH and told me to read and learn as much as I could. This place has by far been the biggest help as far as learning and more importantly understanding and making sense of everything. I've never invested a dollar in my life and don't make a lot of money but I will be putting every extra dollar I have moving forward. So, cheers to you ladies and gentlemen for sharing your insights and general information. I hope you ALL make boatloads of money! 🍻

Everyone at 9 A.m. please call CNBC about their FUD article about South Korea Exchanges

    Posted: 11 Jan 2018 04:11 AM PST

Everyone call this number 201 735 2622 and ask to speak with customer support. Sorry if you are out of the US, not sure what the country code or anything like that is. I called, they do not open until 9 a.m. I will be making complaints and threatening lawsuits that reporting inaccurate assessments and reporting to drive prices down is obviously manipulation. Here is the link to the article with the writers name attached.

    https://www.cnbc.com/2018/01/10/south-korea-official-reportedly-readying-bill-to-ban-all-cryptocurrency-trading.html

I will notify them that I will no longer using their website or listen or watch any of their shows. This is absurd and needs to be put to an end

Hong Kong-based Binance.com is adding "a couple of million" registered users every week, with 240,000 people signing up in just an hour on Wednesday, Chief Executive Officer Zhao Changpeng said in an interview with Bloomberg Television. Demand is so high that the company is limiting new customers, he said, though Binance may fully reopen in the coming weeks.
