Stellar is going to be $1 soon Posted: 29 Dec 2017 07:48 PM PST The ripple effect will hit stellar as people take profits and reinvest them into similar tech with IBM added. I said XLM should be top 10, now it is. Top 7 next. [link] [comments]

Top crypto picks for 2018: building a futureproof portfolio Posted: 29 Dec 2017 09:03 PM PST Hopefully this isn't considered spamming because mods from r/cc removed my post over there. Interested to see what other people's picks for 2018 are! If you thought 2017 was a ripper year for crypto, I think you're in for a big surprise in 2018! I'm not a serious finanical investor nor a professional giving advice but I wanted to share a few projects I'm excited for moving into 2018. Please follow up on this post by doing your own research and I hope you come to some of the same conclusions I did. I get quite a few people PMing me asking me to share how I decide to invest in a coin. I use a rather strict methodology to ensure I only invest in future-proof technologies. It also means the coins I invest in will be more likely to survive dips and bear markets. My methodology I think the most important rule is to not chase pump and dumps. Research every coin that you think has potential and make decisions from there. Personally I only invest in coins with:
If a coin is missing one of these characteristics, it needs to be super strong in another field to make up for it. Honestly the biggest gains I have made are the projects I researched thoroughly, believed in and then HODLed, even through all the dips. Core picks These are the projects I believe have proved themself worthy of the long hold. I liken them to bluechip shares, they will hold (relative) value through dips but still have the potential to increase exponentially with adoption.
Volatile picks While I wouldn't consider these picks risky by my methodology, they lack the long term credibility and are probably more prone to volatile behaviour. Higher volatility means higher potential gains, but higher chance of loss.
Happy new year 2018! [link] [comments]
Is Anyone Else Having Problems Depositing or Withdrawing Funds From Coinbase/Gdax? Posted: 29 Dec 2017 07:00 PM PST Hey all, I recently put some money into Gdax to begin investing in crypto currencies. Although my account has been debited, I don't see the money deposited. My experience is similar to those that complained here: https://www.trustpilot.com/review/coinbase.com I have been on the phone waiting to talk to customer support for over an hour and nobody is answering...just annoying jazz music. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a chance my money will be lost? Thanks! [link] [comments]

Random XRP showing up in my Ledger Nano S... Posted: 29 Dec 2017 06:59 PM PST So, I just got a Ledger Nano S and I transferred a small amount of Ripple (XRP) to the Ripple Wallet, just to test it out and make sure it is working.. the two 46 XRP transfers worked fine and were showing up in my wallet.. Well, I just now opened up my wallet again and now there is an extra 300+ XRP in my wallet that I did not transfer.. and there is not a transaction for it listed under the "Recent Operations".. it's just showing my two $46 deposits.. I unplugged the Ledger and then went back into it, and it is still showing the extra 300+ XRP in my account.. what/how is this possible? It kind of worries me, because if that much can mysteriously show up in my account, I'm sure I can mysteriously lose amounts too.. UPDATE: It looks like there is an issue with Ripple/Ledger right now.. my balance is now showing 0 XRP.. apparently it's not all lost though, the issue is being fixed. [link] [comments]
Daily Chart - Today's big Gainer Posted: 29 Dec 2017 02:57 PM PST Ripple is currently exploding, rocking gains over 50% through the last 24 hours across exchanges. XRP/BTC markets continue their bullish rise with the currency now continuing to gather interest among traders as trading volumes continue to be inflated. With the continued bullish market sentiment that Ripple has been receiving over the last few days, it now continues being bullish even reaching prices above the all time high of $2. [Discussion] My Thoughts coming into 2018 Posted: 29 Dec 2017 05:19 PM PST I'm at the moment looking to create a good portfolio for start of 2018. I like to do my own research, and since I'm fairly new to the scene I want to hear what you guys have to say about my thoughts. First off, I think my portfolio starting into 2018 will solely consist of XRP, BTC and XMR. Probably I'll go for 25% BTC, 40% XRP, 35% XMR. I dont say these are the coins that will make the biggest profit, but I think they are the safest coins to make profit. The market as a whole will continue to be bullish next year imo. I'm not a fanboy of those coins, neither am I trying to bait you into buying those. If you disagree on any point discussion very welcomed. Why XRP: I think XRP is going to become THE crypto currency over the course of the next 1-2 years. Asian banks backing up and testing Ripple for payment literally made XRP go to the moon in a couple of days. I feel like centralized Banks look to get a grasp over part of the crypto market. In the long run, I think XRP will easily surpass BTC in market cap. My bold prediction is that by Q2 2018 Ripple will have surpassed BTC. Why XMR: I think anonymous and private coins have huge potential in the future, especially in contrast to the more centralized coins if my predictions about that one are correct. As XMR is to me the best and biggest coin to meet those conditions, I feel like its by far the most reliable coin to invest if you look for privacy. Why BTC: Pretty simple, BTC is the flag ship of the whole crypto scene, and wont lose that status anytime soon. Even if it may eventually get surpassed by other coins. Non crypto heads will always think about Bitcoin when hearing something crypto related. The whole market swings as soon as BTC makes moves. What do you think? [link] [comments]

What do you hold, why do you hold it, and how will you make money from it? Posted: 29 Dec 2017 01:34 PM PST Posting this here rather than in the cryptocurrency subreddit as it has more to do with prices. I'm interested to know what people are holding, why (what does the token do, who will be using it?), and why the coin will be valuable in the future - I've seen a lot of people mention that XRP potentially isn't worth anything as businesses will just use the Ripple system. Aside from price speculation, why would the coins you own now be worth anything in the future? [link] [comments]

Question about shapeshift viability Posted: 29 Dec 2017 09:08 PM PST Ive been using coinpayments to exchange/convert my coins into lesser known coins lately but im wondering if this is a viable option for converting coins at current prices as i have noticed the process takes around an hour or so. Im not entirelt sure how it works but id like to get more info as it is extremely simple for me ans bittrex wont accept new users atm. Mostly im curious as to what exactly is happening when you exchange coins for other coins. Does this happen at current prices or is there some delay? Coinpayments supposedly functions as shapeshift did. Thanks again all [link] [comments]

VeChain is about to explode. Don't get left behind. Posted: 29 Dec 2017 10:18 AM PST I'm not shilling. Do your own research. I'm just trying to give out valuable information that I would just feel guilty not sharing. I just feel all sorts of sick knowing that people don't know what they're missing out on :) Take a few minutes and look into the subreddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Vechain/. Be prepared to be blown (or as Sunny puts it, belown) away. Oh yeah, and big news coming tomorrow. [link] [comments]
Prices for alt coins on different exchanges and how they effect me Posted: 29 Dec 2017 07:00 PM PST This is somewhat of a beginner question however, it seems very relevant. I have noticed the prices for alt coins on different exchanges and they seem to vary. For instance, the cryptocurrency ripple might say it's at 2.15 in price on bittrex while binance might say it's available at 2.40. Couldn't I just buy cryptocurrencies on bittrex and then sell them on Binance. That's not my intention but, wouldn't that be recommended? Is there something I am missing? The reason I ask is because I had originally bought cryptocurrency on bittrex [link] [comments] |
