McAfee: “In the next 3 years, Bitcoin Cash will win…whether you like it or not.”

    Joe:

"What's your take on Bitcoin Cash?"

    McAfee:

"Oh God, o'mighty. Okay. Let me explain the facts of life to you guys. Now, I support Bitcoin Cash. Not often. Because when I do, a thousand trolls come out of the wood works and hammer me into the ground. Why? Because people do not like the reality of power and truth."

    ...

"In the next 3 years, Bitcoin Cash will win [against BTC]…whether you like it or not."

"BCH clearly is the one that more closely is in line with Satoshi's white paper. Satoshi doesn't […?…] Segwit. Good God, almighty. That mind couldn't possibly imagine such a monster as Segwit. He could not. So, Jihan is correct."

"I can tell you, it's going to win. How can it not?

"After this thing, probably people [BTC holders] are going to be knocking on my door with baseball bats, because they hate BCH."

Bets on when the Bitcoin Crash happens?

    Posted: 18 Dec 2017 08:35 AM PST

Ok here are my reasons for bitcoin crashing anytime soon...

    1. People are starting to realize high fees suck. It's almost not worth buying bitcoin for less than $100 on coin base. Around $25 goes to fees.

    2. Because high fees and slow transactions times, bitcoin is useless. People are going to start realizing that bitcoin isn't GOOD for anything. Can a bitcoin'er please tell me what's bitcoin good for other than possibly making a quick buck as it goes higher?

    3. With difficulty reaching ATH's and high fee's, there's a risk that smaller miner start switching to bitcoin cash. For every miner that switches, it makes bitcoin run even slower.

The crash will happen when the mass majority figures out that bitcoin isn't good for anything and is extremely over valued! When it goes down 40% - 50% consider it GAME OVER.

I give it 2 months tops.

BCH lost - Need help !!

    Posted: 18 Dec 2017 11:55 AM PST

Few months back I was trying to send my BCH from Ledger nano S to Shapeshift and Bittrex. I got error message after I initiated and approved on ledger to send BCH .. I closed my laptop, thought I will do this later and just logged in last week and see that my BCH is gone. Issue is that I'm not sure where it is gone ..it is not showing up in Bittrexx and Shapeshift confirmed that the address it was sent to does not belong to them.

When I see https://blockdozer.com/, I can see the transactions ..but how do I find who owns these addresses? It is not matching with any of my accounts ...

    Can someone please help?

So I think smart people would sell their ($19000 BTC) for so much profit and dumps all that money in (BCH $2000 )pumping up the price to reach the same price were BTC is at now ....🧐then BCH become the BTC, but I guess only the smart ones would just that 🤨

    Emil Oldenburg cashes out

The Swedish co-founder at CO of bitcoin.com is out of the crypto currency which he called "virtually unusable" in an interview with the local press (translated version).

Oldenburg has lived in Tokyo for the past three years where he's received his salary in Bitcoin. Now, he said slow transaction speeds and high transaction costs have made him look elsewhere.

It's not a huge surprise given that he founded the site with "Bitcoin Jesus" Roger Ver in 2015. Ver has thrown his clout behind Bitcoin Cash.

"An investment in bitcoin right now I would say is the most risky investment you can make. It is an extremely high risk. I've actually sold all my bitcoins recently and switched to bitcoin cash," he said.

"When I sold my BTC I had to pay 50 dollars and wait 12 hours for the transaction to go through because of this. It's completely unreasonable," he said.

His comments are likely why Bitcoin Cash jumped today.

Separately, Roger Ver did a Bitcion AMA earlier today:

McAfee claims to know who Satoshi is. Believe him?

    Posted: 18 Dec 2017 06:37 AM PST

    https://youtu.be/2uhPnOyBHQs?t=38m39s

    Joe:

"Who do you believe Satoshi Nakamoto is?"

    McAfee:

"I am John McAfee. Alright? There is nobody in the world that does not tell me their secrets if it involves computer security or cryptocurrency. Now, I was contacted a long time ago by a dude who claimed to be the first person to mine a bitcoin. I checked his ass out. He's absolutely correct. He's [close?] friends with Satoshi Nakamoto. Now, so I have checked out the world's first bitcoin miner and if he's not a friend of Satoshi's, who the fuck is he? So, please. So, yes, I know exactly who he is, but I'll you what. I would turn my mother in as the person who shot Kennedy from that mound, before I would say his name.""

"Yes, I know exactly who he is, and he's a real person, and he is not a committee, he's not CIA, he's not the Korean bureau 21 which everybody…no, absolutely not. He's one person, very bright mother fucker. He happens to be very dull. I would not have dinner with him."

    Joe:

    "Is he alive?"

    McAfee:

    "Yes, he is."
