Wow, BCH is even cheaper and faster than LTC! Posted: 25 Dec 2017 11:22 AM PST Disclaimer: I am someone who holds LTC and still think it is a good investment. That being said, I recently transferred over my Cryptos to a Ledger Nano S... and BCH was the fastest and I think the cheapest too (ETH was close). As someone who always wanted to get into BTC, but felt like I missed the big gainz (not to mention the = high fees, slow transactions), I am now happy to have some BCH (a whole one, this time, in fact!). I've been thinking about getting into investing for years, and I'm so happy I went with Cryptos- not only is it more profitable than traditional stocks, but it is revolutionary and fun, too! :) Merry Christmas everyone and Happy New Year! Happy to be part of this new community (and /r/BTC) [link] [comments]

Ok, I like BCH a lot more then BTC because I did my research, but I didn't post anything that can be seen as a reason to ban me?? What is happening here?? :( :( "You have been banned from participating in r/Bitcoin. You can still view and subscribe to r/Bitcoin, but you won't be able to post or comment. Posted: 25 Dec 2017 09:01 AM PST Bitcoin Cash has the real potential to become a real payment option, there are some business who already accept Bitcoin. Once everyone else realizes the superiority of cryptocurrency, they will all want to switch over. As from today, I started asking some businesses if they have plans to accept Bitcoin Cash in the near future. Even if they won't do it in a very near future, they immediately ask questions if it is possible, how it works etc... This gives us the chance to explain how it works, and I really believe that the more people who will get to know it better, the more they are willing to accept it. As an example: I was selling something on a site were you can sell used stuff and just mentioned that it was also possible to pay with Bitcoin Cash. And believe it or not: I sold my turntable for 0.04230136 BCH !! Never expected this to happen, but together we will make it happen! Please do not make the mistake to tell bad things over other crypto's ... You can explain the differences, but try to focus on the strengths of BCH instead. People don't have to fear other crypto's because acceptance of crypto's are the first step. If you have other tips to help the community, pls share them with us! Thanks for reading, and a merry Xmas to ya all!! [link] [comments]

Posted: 25 Dec 2017 03:29 AM PST I am aware that Bitcoin Cash solves the Bitcoin scaling problem by increasing block size and that in the future the blocks will continue to be made larger to scale as needed. Is this correct? My question is, how big are the blocks expected to become if Bitcoin Cash becomes a widely used world currently, comparable to like the Japanese Yen? What happens if the blocks become too big to handle? [link] [comments]
Posted: 25 Dec 2017 07:32 AM PST Hi guys so i was introduced to BCH by all these wonderful santa who tipped me. Even if Bitcoin Cash is more centralized, that shouldn't be a problem! Posted: 25 Dec 2017 09:47 AM PST I don't believe in the more centralized comments to be clear, I think it's a logical step in the evolution of crypto's... But let's say it is.. should this be a problem? I don't think so, and even Andreas A. places this in perspective: "a lot of the concern about Chinese mining in my opinion is blatantly racist, if mining had centralized in Sweden we wouldn't be getting so upset" source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULJjFwl6KlU I wanted to share this with you guys, because I'm really diving in to the crypto-world and the more I learn, the more convinced I become that Bitcoin Cash has a bright future! (If I share to much lol, please let me know - I will be more quiet then ;) ) [link] [comments]

Posted: 25 Dec 2017 01:13 PM PST If you're in the crypto currency world ; either if you're a big fish or a little one like myself you know the headache with purchasing cryptocurrencies, especially altcoins. Have you ever waited a week to get verified by Coinbase only to be dummed down by unnecessarily high fees and even worse verifying times? LocalAltcoins is the solution. We are currently in the baby stages of creating a peer to peer cryptocurrency exchange with integrated wallets and are in dire need of funds. This peer to peer exchange will allow users to purchase famous cryptos such as Ethereum, BitcoinCash, XRP and IOTA instantly, without unnecessary verification and from people like you and I. This exchange will driven by us, the market makers and the people who want to get into a industry that has captivated people globally and is growing at unprecedented levels. We are in the process of creating something extremely special which will create mainstream accessibility to crypto without the current barriers that are stopping us from making this market reach its full potential. This project will have many additional coins to trade and more coin's wallets in due time. The details of the Kickstarter page will be posted when it is made. Let's build something special, for all of us. [link] [comments]
Finally I moved to BCH. My story. Posted: 25 Dec 2017 01:00 AM PST Hi guys, I always read you posts but barely comment over there, but now I want to share my crypto view with you. I was involved in Austrian Economics since 2009 approximately, even a move to another city to be closer to Austrian and Libertarian professors. I knew a guy in a conference who started to use BTC in 2012. I started to be interested in the BTC but I did not invest because I was student and all my money came from my parents... And they are very conservative. Also, It seemed very complicated to me, and I did not find a good web to buy them. In 2016 I started to earn money and I was seriously considering buying BTC (I was thinking in a BTC and hold it for a very very long time). In the summer I visited my Chinese and Libertarian friend in Shenzhen. He was very involved in BTC. After the trip I started to research about BTC and a buy 30€ in December 2016 just to test some exchanges and the technology, the fees, how to convert it in cash. However, I used OKCoin in China and due to some restrictions I could not move my money very easily, so I decided not no invest more. Eventually that money become approximately 500€ and I decided to move into BCH as the functioning is much more smooth, faster and convenient and every time there are more companies which starts to consider BCH. Now that I researched enough I am pretty sure that BCT cannot be the leading currency anymore with such a congestion, it will be replaced smoothly by others, and BTH is the leading candidate. I agree with those that say that 2018 could be the year of BCH, perhaps achieving 7,000$ at the end of the next year as a minimum? What do you think? [link] [comments]
Posted: 25 Dec 2017 11:41 AM PST I kind of just invested into it for fun, but now I'm kind of interested. One of my questions is what makes it better than other Cryptocurrencies. Thanks in advance to anyone who answers my question. [link] [comments]

Posted: 25 Dec 2017 02:04 PM PST So firstly, is the block size of 8MB vs 1MB the only difference between Bitcoin Cash vs Bitcoin? Am i correct that the ratio transactions per second:block size scales linearly? If linearly, what's to say that in ten years, when Bitcoin Cash is more mainstream it won't encounter the same problem as Bitcoin, with the 8MB blocksize then being problematic as thousands of transactions are then occurring per second? How will Bitcoin Cash deal with this problem? [link] [comments]

With 1MB blocks how is there gonna be space to even open channels in 2-3 years? Posted: 25 Dec 2017 01:36 PM PST I never saw anyone address that, and that's far far more critical than any other argument I saw against increasing the blocksize. [link] [comments]
Posted: 25 Dec 2017 01:17 PM PST Hi so im making a api allows to sell bitcoin and i need to find a api allows to convert the amount of BCH to USD so is there any API for it. I seems to keep looking for it and find it. [link] [comments]
Confirmed to trade in EUR markets on coinbase by Jan 2018 - Surge incoming? Posted: 25 Dec 2017 01:06 PM PST For discussion purposes Im new to BCH/BCC and hold <30% BTC myself Im slowly spreading out into other 'ccy' cryptos and BCH is clearly one of them. With the fuckery that happened when BCH first appeared on coinbase, what are peoples views when BCH comes to the EURO markets (Im in the euro) Will price surge as X% of coinbase users can now trade this? Price surged initially for USD but now is bleeding? [link] [comments] |
