I want to support Bitcoin Cash. Should I be running a node?

    Posted: 03 Dec 2017 10:00 AM PST

BCH is finishing up its fourth month of existence. As more adoption and infrastructure support has been added to the BCH network over the past few months, many bitcoin cash supporters are optimistic about the cryptocurrency’s future

BCH Resistance level around $1,650 - People selling USD for BTC, to sell BTC for BCH

    Posted: 03 Dec 2017 09:44 AM PST

    • BTC rising strong and very volatile since 29th/30th Nov.;
    • BCH steadily rising at usual pace since 30th Nov.
    • IMO: Some people buy and hold BTC to sell later for BCH, others buy and sell BTC right away for BCH; This might have been the reason for the positive correlation between BTC and BCH since BTC reached its $10,000 mark (,whereas before the correlation was negative); This might also result in a dump of BTC for BCH soon (slowly restoring negative correlation)

    • BTC rose by approx. 9.7% since 30th Nov.

    • BCH rose by approx. 19.6% since 30th Nov.

    • BCH rising faster than BTC results in: BCHBTC rose by approx. 3.3% since Nov. 30th.; Positive upward trend; more people are buying BCH than BTC; BCH is gaining in popularity

    • Personal thought: BCHBTC might reach and stabilise around 0.155 (or slightly higher), once BCH breaks through resistance level $1,650.

    Upcoming:

    • Bitstamp is adding BCH to its portfolio this week
    • Coinbase will release BCH to BTC holders in January 2018; Trading support for BCH might follow, eliminating need to buy BTC first in order to buy BCH, adding liquidity and enabling negative correlation and competition between BTC and BCH, (the better shall win)

Bitcoin.com wallet: Sending BCH by text

    Posted: 03 Dec 2017 07:22 AM PST

    Hello!

I want to invite friends and family to use BCH, would it be possible to send them directly by text? I use some app today to do it with fiat, it would be super cool to have it in a wallet.

I use Bitcoin.com, is it in the roadmap?

    I'm getting weak hands, help!

    Posted: 03 Dec 2017 09:31 AM PST

I know that I just need to hold on for a few more days, but a voice in my head keeps telling me to sell and move on and buy IOTA.

Can someone tell me why I should hold, in a way that's convincing and reassuring? Much appreciated. Thanks.

Simple way to start mining with USB miners on windows?

    Posted: 03 Dec 2017 05:43 AM PST

By simple I mean if there's a (fairly) understandable guide that would really help. Not too vague, like"set up the thing and you're all set", but more of a "first, do this. Then get this" type of tutorial. Sorry, I'm a real noob when it comes together this, so all advice is good( as long as it's good advice!). Tips and clarifications for easily confused concepts would be great.

    Porn sites accepting Bitcoin cash

    Posted: 02 Dec 2017 09:01 PM PST

So I hate to be the guy that has to ask, but what is bitcoin cash doing to get porn sites to accept bitcoincash as a form of payment. I'm reading that bitcoin core accounts for 3 - 10% of porn site transactions. Paying with bitcoin cash helps avoid having that awkward conversation of what was purchased on the credit card statement and so on.

Bitcoin Cash Ecosystem Updates -- Week 19 (December 3 -10) -- chronicling Bitcoin Cash's growth daily!

I have some mBTC in Mycelium long before the creation of BitcoinCash. Using the phrase, I restored the wallet in Coinomi (Bitcoincash option) and there are zero Bitcoin cash.

I thought there are as much Bitcoincash as much BTC. Thoughts?

What's the current spike in price about?

    Posted: 02 Dec 2017 09:50 PM PST

Does it have anything to do with the upcoming exchange listings and difficulty adjustments with bitcoin soon?

If so, then this could well be the start of a bull run and not just a temporary spike!!

I hope so as I have 90% of my holdings in bitcoin cash after not being able to control myself seeing it at under 1.3k

What is miner reward if fees are so low in BHC?

    Posted: 03 Dec 2017 07:02 AM PST

Noob question: miners 'like' BTC because of the high fees etc. Why would they turn to BCH (lower price & lower transaction fees).
