So I am new to Crypto but man ripple is fucking fast. Posted: 19 Nov 2017 07:30 PM PST So I was looking it up and apparently Bitfinex isn't that trustworthy from what I was seeing. When I found that out I made an account on another site, sold all my other coins for ripple and sent them to that site. It said on Bitfinex it might take up to 12 hours but jesus christ my ripple was on the other site in 5 seconds I swear. I am just kind of playing with cryptos right now. I only have $300 I feel safe messing with but I plan on keeping $200 of that in ripple for the long haul and just play around with the other $100. [link] [comments]

How can xrp possibly lose its gains every time it moves up? Posted: 19 Nov 2017 04:52 PM PST Can anyone think of another coin that does a billion $ in trade in 24hours on more than a few occasions, but doesnt sustain value like xrp? Is there any other coin that could announce a partnership with American express or another large corporation but doesnt gain in value? As a comparrison look at Omisego a few weeks ago.. it was worth $1, when they announced the mcdonalds news in asia and that drove it to $10+ very quickly, and its retained a lot of that value.. Look at ethereum when it announced partnerships... $12 to $300 in just a few weeks, and it didnt go back to $12 days later.. I was a big supporter of xrp for a long time, but for the time being not anymore. This forum has gone from 4000 members to what it is now because so many people want to believe xrp will take off sooner or later and youre likely telling yourselves its the second once in a lifetime opportunity like when bitcoin was under $1 but can anyone honestly explain how its possible that xrp never retains any of the gains it makes? There is a lot of speculation that there are people that own a ton of xrp, and they sell off any time the price starts to move to ensure stability in the price and im really beginning to wonder if this is the case. Do any of you think the trend with xrp will actually change? If so what do you think itll take? Do you invest in others like Litecoin, bitcoin? [link] [comments]
3D animator for Ripple education video Posted: 19 Nov 2017 12:51 PM PST We want to put together a "weusecoins"-type video educating people about the Ripple network and how it functions as a distributed exchange and Internet of value. We need a 3D scene animator and someone to do a voice over. 2D animators and story tellers also welcome to help! If you think you can help drop into our discord: https://discord.gg/VXrDsX7 Thanks! Posted: 19 Nov 2017 07:21 AM PST Is Bitstamp a good way to buy and store small amounts of ripple? It seems like the easiest and fastest way to buy and sell ripple [link] [comments]
Posted: 19 Nov 2017 03:37 PM PST I transferred 500 coins from Kraken to my Ledger S wallet earlier today. Everything went smoothly and appeared in my Ripple Wallet. Fast forward 4 hours and there is nothing in my Ledger Ripple Wallet. I can't find any history on the wallet either. Any help? EDIT: solved the issue. I must've been using the shortcut link and it directed me somewhere else. When I went into the program file to open it there I was pleased to find my 500. [link] [comments]
Posted: 19 Nov 2017 06:16 PM PST I'm sure those of you who are following crypto overall are aware of the whole uncertainty behind Tether/USDT. Bittrex is one of the many exchanges that uses USDT because they do not allow USD trading, if Tether was to actually crash, a BTC price dip, probably a large one at that seems inevitable, do you guys think that could also make Ripple bleed? Essentially every crypto is in danger considering they can just buy BTC/alts with "Monopoly money/USDT" but taking XRP's stability and market cap to consideration, do you think if such scenario were to take place, XRP would bleed way less than other alts, not to even mention Bitcoin. Should I buy more XRP or just hold? Posted: 19 Nov 2017 05:27 PM PST I have around 5000 USD I can afford to buying ripple. Is this a good idea right now? Why? I am new to the crypto market and I don't mind waiting. I want to know if ripple is a safe bet (crypto currency wise) for the long game. [link] [comments]

Anticipate next peak in Price? Posted: 19 Nov 2017 08:37 PM PST Somewhat new to ripple. So for the next huge rise in price, how can I determine/anticipate the next peak in price before it drops down low again? I want to re-invest when the price hits a low point so I can buy even more XRP. But what is the best way to go about this? [link] [comments]
Posted: 19 Nov 2017 04:36 PM PST I am a holder of ETH and LTC on coinbase. A few hundred dollars total investment. I am looking to buy some XRP in the roughly $100-250 range. I was looking into the ledger nano s but I feel like it may be over kill for roughly $400 of total investment. Do you think the nano S is worth it over a paper wallet? What paper wallets do you guys recommend? Thanks. [link] [comments]
My XRP roadmap (at least in my dreams) Posted: 19 Nov 2017 07:34 PM PST 2018 - US$2 2019 - US$20 - sell 25% of my holdings, no mortgage and having a nice family holiday in Fiji 2022 - US$200 - sell further 25% of original holdings, multi-million payout and I'm retired early At this point I have 50% of my original holdings left. Then sell 10% of remaining holdings per annum for the next 10 years (assuming I can't use XRP to pay for goods and service, in which case I will utilise for bills, shopping etc to reduce Capital Gains Tax). Posted: 19 Nov 2017 01:06 PM PST I know this is probably a stupid question for many but i am a first time beginner . So any one can inform how to buy it from legit sources , thanks. [link] [comments]
Does Ripple have a patent to stop anyone from trying to replicate their model? Posted: 19 Nov 2017 04:17 AM PST What I (and a few friends) want to know is whether giant Financial Institutions can join hands and create their own version of the Ripple network and replicate what Ripple has created? If that's the case, this would be truly worrisome since they would obviously do that, at least down the line. [link] [comments]

What gives with rippex prices versus other exchanges? Posted: 19 Nov 2017 03:40 AM PST It seems to always be higher than every other exchange out there. Specially lately. It has not really come down from the 0.25 bump of last week. Does anyone have a good source of info on that specific gateway? [link] [comments]
How to move XRP from Ledger Nano S to Binance? Posted: 19 Nov 2017 07:21 AM PST I'm trying to send XRP from my nano s to Binance, and have never done it before. Binance requires you use both a deposit address AND a deposit tag, but I'm not understanding where to use the deposit tag on my "send" screen on nano S. all I see is the recipient address. Where do I put the Deposit tag on the Nano S screen to make sure the funds get to Binance safely? [link] [comments] |
