Alright you guys win, r/bitcoin is fucked.

    Posted: 29 Nov 2017 10:04 AM PST

Earlier this week I created a post here advocating for us to try and stop this BCH vs BTC mentality on Reddit. However it seems that post got me shadow banned for r/Bitcoin. Which I find hilarious. The mods over there are ridiculous.

Edit: So I came about discovering this since I'm subscribed to both r/Bitcoin and r/bitcoincash. I wanted to create a post link a GIF meme making a joke about "MRW my friends start asking me about BTC" it got 1 view over the course of an HR wish made me suspicious. So I tried posting a plain text post, and haven't been able to find either posts on r/bitcoin new section. However they show up on my Reddit profile, for me at least.

The Flippening is among us! (THE PERFECT STORM)

    Posted: 29 Nov 2017 01:24 PM PST

Guys, this is the day that we've been waiting for!

WARNING: DO NOT TRY TO WITHDRAW OR MAKE ANY BTC TRANSACTION (NETWORK IS FLOODED WITH BUILDING UP CONFIRMED TRANSACTIONS!

WARNING: DO NOT EXHANGE FOR USDT OR BTC DURING THIS TIME!

IF YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE A MOVE, THE ONLY SAFE MOVE TO MAKE AT THIS TIME IS TO PURCHASE MORE BCH WHILE IT IS STILL EXTREMELY UNDERVALUED!

Please understand that what we are seeing now are FLASH crashes as a result of BTC market going bonkers RIGHT AROUND 11:30 a.m. EST just as I predicted! Do not pay attention to these prices! The prices right now are irrelevant ALTCOINS are flash crashing and dropping bellow a dollar and rising right back. Don't try to trade on these margins or you will get burnt! The exchanges are lagging behind and you will not be able to close your orders in time.

Here's what's happening guys! BCH was scheduled for a breakout at 11:30 a.m. this morning. Think logically, all of my other forecasts have come to fruition. The reason for the delay in breakout this morning is due to the breaking news from coinbase and other major exchanges. There is a huge influx of new users flying in to BTC right now. There are more new users coming in than ever before on blockchain.info. These transactions are clogging up the already backed up mempool, which is also more backed up then ever before! It's basically at a STANDSTILL now! Do not attempt to withdraw any BTC because those transactions will get stuck!

    • We are seeing a MASSIVE ema crossover on the BTC 30 minute chart! On this chart we can see what happened last time BTC crossed over this point! BTC dropped nearly 50% and BCH was about to take over (FLIPPENING) until bithumb crashed. What we are seeing now, is the SAME pattern.

    • Here is the updated BCH chart Guys, even if BCH drops bellow $800 today, it will only be for a brief moment. We are on track to reach our THIRD target (out of FIVE) where we will EASILY break past $2k mark. BCH is scheduled to reach a NEW ALL TIME HIGH WITHIN A WEEKS TIME! I am actually anticipating BCH to rise above $3k within a week.

Following that move, we will see a retracement between $1800-2200 and then we will reach $4K+ By Mid January.

I recommend that BCH HODLERs continue to HODL and ALSO pre-order the lamborghini's now, because pretty soon inventory is going to be WHIPED OUT!

    Here's what happened!

    Posted: 29 Nov 2017 12:36 PM PST

Ok guys, so first off what we're seeing is GREAT NEWS!

The only reason we're departing later is because BTC and COINBASE had to use our base station to make an emergency landing!

This is the reason why the data broke from my charts. If you pay attention though, I predicted that we would breakout on 11/29 7 DAYS AGO, GUYS! RIGHT HERE In this forecast I told you guys we would see a breakout to $1500 which we did! I also forecasted the buy zone which was SPOT ON! I then predicted that we would retrace and have another breakout above $2K @ 11:30 a.m. We got delayed because of BTC and Coinbase news but We are still ON TRACK FOR THIS, we are just having a delay because of the emergency BTC / Coinbase landing. BUT now there are STRONG indicators that we will breakout even harder and maybe even reach a new ALL TIME HIGH!

I'm 2/3 so far guys, honestly. Stop acting like I was wrong. The people that doubted me on here have never properly forecasted anything! Take what they're saying with a grain of salt. I had it down to a date AND time, but the time consequently changed as a result of news and events. Now, if you guys listened to me and did your HW with stop-limits then you have made yourself an easy 10%+ profit guys! Great job to those of you that listened and made some money throughout this mess and are now doubling down on MORE free BCH!! I have to extrapolate more data now guys because I want to make sure that the new time is correct and I want to find the perfect buy zones again! I will update you guys with the latest forecast and get back to you with an exact time for our takeoff!

Please be patient, more and more BTC passengers are trying to JUMP SHIP and board the BCH rocket. Captain Ver has informed me that the cabin crew will be coming around with the food and drink cart for complimentary beverages and snacks.

BCH Pricing Thoughts -> It's all about the Transactions

    Posted: 29 Nov 2017 08:12 AM PST

Here is my analysis of the BCH price and what drives it. I'm not an economist and I don't play one on TV:

    • The big picture price for BCH is set by the price of Bitcoin itself. Macro moves of Bitcoin have a corresponding effect on Bitcoin Cash. So like it or not, we need Bitcoin to be successful just as much as we want BCH to be successful. Any thing that shakes confidence in Bitcoin will also devalue BCH.

    • The best analogy for this is Lyft and Uber. The primary competition for rider's money is the taxi establishment. They waste energy when they fight amongst themselves. Eventually they can have the big Uber vs Lyft fight, but first, they must beat the taxi system. BCH and Bitcoin are similar. Let's pick the competition, whether it's Visa, Paypal, Western Union, etc.. and go after them. Once that battle is won, then sure let's have the Bitcoin/Bitcoin Cash cage match.

    • Beyond the macro level, the rest is determined by supply and demand. Demand comes from two places, demand for a store of value/investment, and demand for transactions. Clearly Bitcoin is championing the store of value approach. Great. We benefit from that too so we want them to focus on that piece of the market. Our piece of the market is transactions. Transactions decrease supply (coins in use aren't available to others) and increase demand (users need coins to make transactions). The more transactions on the network, the more upward pressure on BCH price. Plus transactions provide a back stop on price given any negative crypto-currency news cycle.

Bottom line, we need more transactions. Nothing earth shattering here - we all know this. But that's the key to BCH's success. It is our strongest point, and it is our job going forward. Let's celebrate Bitcoin hitting 10K and soak in all the press it is getting. Bitcoin is doing its job, now we have to do ours - transactions.

This is bloody madness in the crypto world

    Posted: 29 Nov 2017 12:17 PM PST

I'm lost for words really. Market is a mess currently with the mass inflation of BTC recently.

BCH dropping near to sub £1,000 Loads if not all major alts crashing BTC surprisingly creeping up more than down to what it was before.

Really shows whales at play as well as the true volatility of the market.

    All suddenly came crashing down.

I'm still holding my BCH, don't let FUD and emotion right now with this force you to sell.

You'll regret it in a few days. Trust me or don't trust me, I've been in similar situations and whenever I bail it corrects and boosts even higher up.

I just bought a game on steam...

    Posted: 29 Nov 2017 04:29 AM PST

...and then I bought more Bitcoin Cash.

    details:

Had to use BTC because steam uses bitpay and bitpay doesn't support anything but BTC.

The game was €14.95, including fees I payed €22 and I STILL have to wait for confirmations because bitpay deemed the 158 sat/byte tx fee "too low" (which it is).

/u/bitpay, please man up and support Bitcoin Cash already, the fees are killing wonderful cryptocurrency use cases right and left.

;tldr: @bitpay and @steam: I want to be able to actually use my cryptocurrency, I want 0-conf, I want Bitcoin Cash!

10k and dropping. Let's pray the money flows back into BCH. It is in correction mode though so be careful when BTC goes back up.

    Business adoption

    Posted: 29 Nov 2017 04:35 AM PST

    Hey!

How can we have more businesses use Bitcoin Cash? As a user, how do I help businesses start to use Bitcoin Cash?

We need stickers like "Bitcoin cash accepted here" and what wallet they should use to receive payments. Any ideas how I can do this?

I can do this stuff on my own, but maybe there is stuff available I can use?

    Thanks for your help!

Something Weird is Going On With Exchanges!

    Posted: 29 Nov 2017 12:10 PM PST

I have Coinigy with multiple exchanges on it, such as but not limited to GDAX, Poloniex, Bittrex, etc... Just a few minutes ago, there was a massive crash in price for BTC and various alt coins. I got notifications and as I tried to buy at that flash sale, all exchanges including Coinigy were down. How lame is that!!!! You would think these exchanges can handle the volume of trading or is there something bigger happening here.

Why when BTC goes down, other coins also goes down?

    Posted: 29 Nov 2017 12:43 PM PST

By my logic when BTC goes down, people sell BTC for USD or other crypto coins. So why other crypto coins lose value?

Bitcoin Price is Exceeding All Expectations: It’s Over $11,000 Now

    Posted: 29 Nov 2017 07:36 AM PST

    Call me insane but...

    Posted: 28 Nov 2017 09:06 PM PST

I just can't help but get excited about BCH. Blockchain is the future, and crypto is the biggest driver of blockchain. BTC cannot scale to billions of people, whereas BCH can. If crypto is the future, BCH is the frontrunner in regards to philosophy. The risk vs reward is unfounded. The only thing left to do at this point is buy buy buy. Let BTC surpass $10k. All that does is tell me I'm getting a $10k coin for $1500 (today's BCH price). HODL my friends. 2018 is gonna be a big year!
