Never owned XRP, but happy for everyone in this community

    Posted: 08 Feb 2022 05:56 PM PST

So I'll start by saying I've never owned or held XRP. I got into crypto a year ago and have a handful of projects I'm heavily invested in, but was always afraid about XRP with the SEC lawsuit.

However, I admire and respect everything Ripple Labs is doing and am very happy to see they are doing well in the courts! Seeing XRP go up 40% in the last 7 days is amazing, even if it did knock down some of the projects I have money in.

You guys are great and deserve all the good things that will come your way! Keep the faith!

    Ripple and Gatehub updates

    Posted: 08 Feb 2022 07:12 PM PST

Kind of surprised to see very little about this across various XRP subreddits, but Gatehub (pretty much one of the only options for XRP ever since the delistings) updated their terms as such:

'At the end of 2021, GateHub began the process of migrating certain parts of its business operations from the UK to the European Union. As part of the migration, some of the services provided by GateHub will soon be provided by a business entity in Lithuania (to be named GateHub UAB) which is authorized to provide custodial wallet and exchange services to its customers. The services offered by GateHub UAB fall within Lithuania's anti-money laundering regime. This action was taken in the best interest of GateHub's customers.

This email is to inform you that on March 1st, 2022, GateHub will migrate all custodial customer accounts (GateHub and GateHub Fifth gateways) to a new business entity, GateHub UAB, based in Lithuania.'

Not sure if this might be any cause for concern, but they state as well:

'GateHub UAB is an overseas entity and does not operate under UK laws or regulations, and is not regulated or supervised by the UK Financial Conduct Authority.'

    Any thoughts?
