| Posted: 27 Feb 2022 04:45 AM PST I have a Strix 3080. Purchases around this time last year. For the last year I have been getting 102/104 MH/S. Out of nowhere last week my MH/s dropped down to 69. I have no idea why. And can't figure it out. All my settings are the same. On Afterburner I am using Undervolted to 70 Core clock -200 Memory clock - 1600 I have been using those settings all year. I mine on NiceHash since I only use a single card. And also because I have never figured out how to actually get any other miner to work. I mine on windows as this is a gaming pc that mines when I'm not gaming. Not really sure what other info to provide. I am severely confused as to how I lost almost 40 MHS [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 26 Feb 2022 02:54 PM PST Ok so I was thinking about it. The eth dag file increases in July rendering 5gb miners useless on eth. Pos is slated to hit around June. Is it just me or is it possible there's partial reasoning in that? Like incentives to go pos when all the million dollar mining farms with 5gb ASICS finally go obsolete. There are quite a few out there. If we don't get eth 2.0 that should help difficulty slightly. I just can't get the thought out of my head that it was timed this way purposely.
