    Am i wrong about bitcoin?

    Posted: 21 Feb 2022 08:34 PM PST

Okay so i am new here and to crypto i am planning on buying soon when i feel its at a good low.

I have been doing my reading and believe there is alot of hope within bitcoin and some others however nothing outright indicates to me bitcoin will go up anytime soon, besides some predictions although there basis is debatable.

So in my opinion one of the key events of bitcoin skyrocketing in the past was the marketing and the idea of a new oppurtunity and more young people entering the market.

If something indicated to me its still of interest to the average person i would be more convinced it could go to 100k and beyond. As i am not sure old rich people are risky enough to be putting down on bitcoin atm and alot of the younger get rich quick dudes really helped promote bitcoin to new and young people who i assume may not stay for the long term in this current market if they started because they were more into the idea of fast gains, soo...

Do you believe that bitcoin has seen its big boost already and any good growth will be slightly more long term(2 to 5 years)rather than short term(This Year)?

Or do you think the russia ukraine conflict and current crash may in turn boost shares, kind of like how corona did in multiple area when they went really low and then skyrocketed?.

Sorry im just wondering as im new, and i dont know wether to buy now or wait as it might go even lower than people seem to expect, if the silent majority of previous bitcoin traders were people who were either new or dont like the current volatile nature. ( this is just my thoughts).

Intelligent Trading Bot based on Machine Learning: Open Source Github Project

    Posted: 21 Feb 2022 09:16 AM PST

    https://github.com/asavinov/intelligent-trading-bot

The Intelligent Trading Bot is intended for automatically generating trade signals for cryptocurrencies using state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms and feature engineering.

The project provides the following major functions:

    • Analyzing historic data and training machine learning models as well as finding their best hyper-parameters. It is performed in batch off-line mode.
    • Signaling service which is regularly requests new data from the exchange and generates buy-sell signals by applying the previously trained models
    • Trading service which does real trading by buying or selling the assets according to the generated signals

Currently it is configured as follows:

    • 51 derived features features are generated using rolling aggregation including rolling linear trend
    • 3 ML models are trained: Gradient Boosting, Neural Network, Linear Classifier.
    • The analysis is done on minute basis, that is, every minute, the service will download newest data, generate features, do predictions using 3 ML models, aggregate their results, generate signals using buy-sell thresholds
    • Send the signals to a configured Telegram channel
    • Buy or sell
    • It was tested on BTC and ETH where it produces scores in the interval [-1, +1]. Negative/positive value means that the price is likely to decrease/increase during next hours

The project is intended for experimenting and trying out various options and algorithms therefore it requires some configuration
