How to check if an wallet address is a owner of my NFT using ERC 721 BalanceOf function? Posted: 20 Jan 2022 12:08 AM PST I want to do a giveaway for my next phase of NFTs, to owners of my NFT. But I don't know how to check if they're are owners of my NFT. I've received loads of address wallets but I've been told to use Openzeppelin, can someone guide me. I have no coding experience and just want to make sure current holders of my NFT will be receive a free NFT from me. [link] [comments]
New Staking Mechanism / Solace Posted: 19 Jan 2022 10:01 PM PST Hi everyone! Solace, a DeFi insurance protocol on Ethereum, is launching a new staking mechanism: Users can lock their tokens in a safe for up to 4 years to multiply their staking rewards (x2.5 after four years) and their voting rights (x4 after four years). I am just curious what the community thinks of a system like that. Do you think this is a good incentive to engage users in the long term? Edit transaction priority in Metamask when using hardware wallet Posted: 19 Jan 2022 06:52 PM PST I want to move ETH into Arbitrum when gas prices are low. I know how to edit the priority of the transaction in MetaMask. This allows you to state what total gas price you are willing to pay for a transaction, and once gas is low enough, it will execute your transaction. https://www.reddit.com/r/ethereum/comments/s7x350/how_to_set_eth_transaction_to_execute_when_gas_is/ Is it possible to do this with a hardware wallet that is linked to MetaMask? I imagine you would at least need to keep your hardware wallet connected to your computer while you are waiting for the gas price to go low enough to execute. Has anyone done this before? Is there a deflation tokenomic for LooksRare? Posted: 20 Jan 2022 12:48 AM PST Hello. I'm new to LOOKS and still doing some research on it. I see the 1b for supply max, and 200m for total supply. I see the most part of the supply is the reward for the community but I don't see a how-to-use Looks in another way. Here is how LOOKS earns from: Are the LOOKS team have a deflation plan for the supply? Because this is the game-changer for the NFT marketplace and so attractive for me, in another hand I also worry about the max supply of it. [link] [comments]
Cancelling/updating pending transaction - Coinbase Posted: 20 Jan 2022 01:17 AM PST As you will probably be able to guess from this post I am a bit of a newbie to the scene. I tried to make a transaction yesterday but set the gas price far too low, as a result the transaction has been sat in pending for nearly 24 hours and will likely never go through. The transaction was made using my Coinbase wallet and I can see there is no way to change the gas price or cancel the transaction. I read a thread that mentioned trying to send a second transaction to myself with a higher gas price however that is also now stuck in pending. I also read another thread that mentioned using a MetaMask wallet to send myself a transaction that should replace the transaction. When I go to do that I get an error message saying 'replacement transaction underprice' - does that mean this transaction needs to be more than my original? Is there a way to replace, cancel or update the gas fees of my initial transaction? Lesson learnto for the future, gas prices are very important! [link] [comments]

Are these "dapps validators" legit? Posted: 19 Jan 2022 11:13 PM PST I highly doubt they are but I've recieved DMs here telling me to validate my Metawallet here. Is one of these identical sites legit? [link] [comments]
Exploring the Ecosystem 4: Rollup NFT Platforms Posted: 19 Jan 2022 06:17 PM PST Ethereum Rollup NFT Platforms I almost didn't want to post this one since it's a lot more bare than the DeFi posts, but I told someone I would so here it is. It turns out finding NFT platforms is more difficult than finding DeFi apps, or there are just a lot fewer of them. So, what I'd like to do is start a list and then add whatever platforms the comments suggest, if any. I'll add pretty much any suggested platform as long as it is 1) on an Ethereum rollup and 2) operational and ready for use now. Arbitrum
Optimism
Boba
Metis
zkSync
ImmutableX
