"An Investors guide to Stable Coin Minting " Posted: 31 Jan 2022 04:40 AM PST "Stable coins are crypto coins whose prices are fixed to a cryptocurrency, fiat or to commodities like gold and silver. A good example is $USDT. Stablecoins are important crypto assets to hold for risk adverse investors because of their of their minimal volatility as well as their independence from the fluctuation of other coins. They only track the value of the asset they are fixed to. Minting is simply the process of creating a new coin. It is considered a process in crypto mining. It involves staking a significant amount of crypto for the chance a high reward in the form of transaction fees paid by the system users in a blockchain. Due to the significant amount of investment required, stablecoin minting is usually considered quite a risky venture. Notable platforms like Konstellation.tech help reduce this risk greatly by reducing the required staking fees and making stablecoin minting accessible to everyone. " [link] [comments] | ||

What Is The True Purpose of Olympus DAO, Time Wonderland, and Other Olympus Forks? Posted: 31 Jan 2022 06:07 AM PST I originally was under the the philosophical impression on the reason why the concept Olympus DAO, Time Wonderland, and other Ohm forks existed was to create a decentralized reserve stable currency backed by cryptocurrency assets away from the US Dollar. I thought this was an effort to have a stable coin not pegged to the dollar but rather pegged to baskets of cryptocurrencies to decouple away from the traditional financial legacy system. I was beginning to see this as the "DeFi 2.0" movement where a Bonding & Reserve sector of DeFi and Crypto was being created. As it turns out pretty much 99% of these Olympus forks are rug pulls, money grabs, and scams. However, the technology and protocols in Olympus DAO technology are still very intriguing. Even though Olympus price has crashed by 95% the protocol still exist, the treasury is still large, and rebases are still getting paid out. I'd really like to know other peoples thoughts on the purpose of these DAOs as just money grabs or is there still a big future use case for the DeFi technology that exist on Olympus? I’m trying to change my investment strategy to end this year with serious profits, any tips? Posted: 31 Jan 2022 05:40 AM PST When it comes to trading or even hodling i literally tried everything, from altcoins, meme coins, gaming coins… and honestly i wasn't satisfied with the profits that i generated. I was expecting to make much more considering people are making 10x overnight. Which is why i decided to take a different approach and invest in governance tokens like BitDAO's $BIT, that allows me to vote on project proposals, and have access to the world's largest DAO directed treasury that's being used to support developers in building their inn projects. Holding such tokens basically means that i have unlimited opportunities to invest early in projects with fundamentals and potential. Let me know what you guys think and if my decision is logical.
