Bitcoin Verde was used to mine block 721020! Multiple development teams are essential to long term stability. BCH becomes more decentralized every day.

Please focus on helping people solve problems and shaping the future into what you would like it to be. Please don't become a toxic maxi.

    Posted: 02 Jan 2022 12:41 AM PST

I work every day on building Bitcoin Cash, its infrastructure and apps. I am focused on making BCH a real competitor for global money, maybe even the best global money. I know it is technically and operationally ahead of many other chains. I know that its ability to resist censorship, remain permissionless and remain affordable, and therefore its ability to serve literally everyone, is ahead of many other chains.

But having all the talent in the world doesn't by itself help anyone, including you.

Burning bridges can cause a lot of damage for everyone, including you.

Please focus on helping people solve problems and shaping the future into what you would like it to be. Please don't become a toxic maxi.

    BCH and Flexa

    Posted: 01 Jan 2022 10:02 PM PST

BCH's path to adoption is currently being built by Flexa. They are building the crypto infrastructure that will collateralize merchant transactions.

In a recent interview with London Real, about a month ago, Tyler Spaulding spoke positively about BCH and seems to at least imply it's a natural fit on Flexa's payment network.

https://youtu.be/e_RbCIC-CLI (relevant BCH discussion around 39 minutes)

If Flexa can achieve critical mass with merchant adoption and then merchants and customers realize how cheap BCH transactions are, that could be the turning point.

It also helps that Tyler Spaulding has a neutral to slightly positive view of BCH.

What are Bitcoin Cash's win conditions?

    Posted: 02 Jan 2022 12:13 AM PST

With the sub getting spammed with news of a rival developer labelling Bitcoin Cash "mostly a failure" I thought I would make a post asking, what are Bitcoin Cash's win conditions? After all, isn't it kind of important to know that for the purpose of figuring out whether it has 'failed'?

I am on record with my own opinion on this: I think BCH has already achieved victory, saved P2P cash, and changed the world. But that view was controversial even here, and rather than go for a repeat, I want to make this post more open-ended.

What do you think Bitcoin Cash's win conditions are or were, and if you wish to add, how close do you think it is to achieving them?

    DECENTRALISED SOCIAL MEDIA

    Posted: 02 Jan 2022 03:24 AM PST

Hey 👋 guys I just seen a platform that is totally decentralised and it only needs a metamusk and and wallet configuration it creates a profile for you (as if you are transacting) it is still in testnet however I wanted to put it out there, it's not open source yet unfortunately as I read on where it was published I mean how fascinating that is and how I'm lost to words

It's called ORBIS (I'm not sure if it would come up on google search as it's in test net) I would send pictures if I can

I have a plan for BCH since noisecash

    Posted: 01 Jan 2022 11:44 AM PST

My plan will be the following, due to the low monetization of the site, I want to take the step to start sponsoring people close to me so they know about BCH.

In this case it will no longer depend on the official sponsor but on the users themselves.

I will look for good users who publish nutritious and high quality content that will generate reactions from other users.

I have a fixed goal to set the votes in money that I will give to each publication. Probably most of the posts will be voted by me.

I saw this move in readcash by a user and I want to replicate a little bit of that and improve the strategy, I hope that other users are encouraged to do the same.

And finally every so often I will give some "voting power" to some users to distribute that money to other users and make the money circulate on the platform.

    Gaze.cash dev update

    Posted: 01 Jan 2022 03:09 AM PST

Gaze.cash is a video content monetization platform that uses bitcoin cash.

I created another "entry point" for gaze named glimpse.cash

glimpse.cash is for all intents and purposes exactly the same as gaze.cash except that it will not show any adult or nsfw videos nor any videos that are from a channel that has adult videos on it even if the video itself is fine.

any videos uploaded on glimpse.cash will be available on gaze.cash and any safe videos uploaded from safe channels on gaze.cash will likewise be available on glimpse.cash

My reason for creating glimpse.cash is to have a clean website for people that are not comfortable with a mixed content website like gaze.cash

I am considering running a flipstarter again in the near future (first one failed but it was very early on). I cover all development and server costs myself but it would be great to be able to spend a lot on marketing and perhaps do something similar to what noise.cash did where the platform itself paid money to it's users.

    The value of your NFT

    Posted: 01 Jan 2022 05:30 AM PST

I think 2022 will be a sideways year for crypto.

    Posted: 01 Jan 2022 06:56 PM PST

I am not a crypto hater, but I see this as a big accumulation opportunity. Everyone expects btc to surpass 100k this year but I think this will not happen because everyone is already expecting it to happen. Everyone thought that it would hit 100k last year and it did not do that. I will use 2022 to continue to DCA and accumulate. And this year im going to try to get involved in liquidity pools so that way I can make gains even in a sideways market.
