    Are meme coins doomed?

    The recent drop in the market has been devastating for meme coins in general, with many of them falling to 0, Devs disappearing and people losing all their money. Many of them simply crashed hard, and many of them were taken to the saw mill and cut down, the bloodbath chart apparent.

    The coins that stand the test of time have real utility and the coins that fall away have either no utility or have a fading utility that was hot at one stage but the interest soon waned. Many people are also bewildered over meme coin names and are astounded as how anyone can invest in a coin, such as grandmotherofdog coin, soneinlawofdog coin. We could speculate that Eth gas fees are intentional to ward off such moronic behaviors, and consider Bitcoin was always a serious project, meme coins come with a toxic mentality and culture.

    With meme coins holding 0 to no value and the recent Doge and Shiba Inu dropping out of the top 10, are meme coins doomed?

    There’s no doubt that DAOs are of the most important project types in the cryptocurrency scene.

    I mean this is how a project will be able to communicate with its investors. Usually, a project of the form of decentralized autonomous organization is where an investor gets all the space they need in order to decide about how the future of a project will go. This is why many investors, including myself are getting into this kind of projects.

    This is why DAOs are actually special. The communities behind those projects are actually close to each other's, since they'll be voting together on the future of the company and they'll impact directly the decision making process itself. I actually am keeping some space in my portfolio for this kind of investments.

    I think the strength of this genre of projects is clearly shown in decentralized finance projects, especially because investors get the chance to directly express how they want their investments to move. I'm personally investing in a few DAO platforms, and currently keeping a close eye on the upcoming IDO of a promising DAO, called New Order, which will be launched this Thursday on MISO.

    I believe that DAOs are going to take a big place in the market now, especially that investors are loving the fact that they'll be able to vote on the project's important decisions to be made.
