    Cluttered portfolio

    Posted: 27 Dec 2021 11:36 PM PST

G'day everyone! I had little question I thought I'd ask here rather than making a whole post. My situation is that over the years I've accumulate a lot of 'clutter coins'. My portfolio is worth approx 10k.This is mainly made up of 5-10 coins I feel strongly about, with each worth $500-1000. However, over the years I have accumulated at least twenty random coins worth that I now feel indifferent towards, each stack aprox $20-100.

While most would tell me to sell them all and buy into a project I like, I just can't do that. Maybe I'm sentimentally attached, maybe FOMO, maybe they're a bout to moon, I don't know.

I think that I may DYOR, and get rid of the complete shit coins, then allocate more structured amounts of money to the coins I want to keep.

Before I do that I thought I'd come here and ask if anyone has any ideas.

    I've attached a few photos

    https://imgur.com/a/sh4LIps

    P.S

I know that there are a couple of very good projects there that are very popular on this sub, sorry for not having more allocated - I'll get there :D

I think crypto compatible credit cards will make the transition to full crypto payments much smoother.

    Posted: 27 Dec 2021 12:30 PM PST

Sure, crypto credit cards aren't technically crypto payments but they offer a lot of exposure for crypto in the public.

The more people start seeing crypto credit cards like the ones from Binance, Coinbase and Eidoo wallet or services like CoinOvy that are working on replacing things like ApplePay and Venmo, the more they'll be familiar with crypto

All of this combined will definitely make the transition to full crypto payments much smoother on both sides of consumer and businesses hopefully.

It will take time for sure. However, if we keep up this pace of performance in the market we'll get there slowly but surely.

What is the practical difference between Limit and Stop Limit orders?

    Posted: 28 Dec 2021 02:15 AM PST

    Suppose the two following cases.

    • I set a Limit order to buy 1 ETH with a Limit set to 3800 BUSD.
    • I set a Stop Limit order to buy 1 ETH with a Limit set to 3800 BUSD with Stop set to 3810 BUSD.

Both cases will make me buy 1 ETH if price falls below 3800 BUSD, with the difference that the Stop Limit order won't be sent to the market until the price falls below 3810 BUSD.

Question: What is the real practical difference for me? It seems the same.

In both cases I cannot keep setting more orders. If I only have 3800 BUSD in my account and I set either a Limit or a Stop Limit order, I won't be able to use more BUSD for more orders. My logic said that with Stop Limit, the money would be available to set more orders and then once the stop is reached, it would set the order for as many rules as possible with the available money.

And also, I can cancel both type of orders at any time without having to pay comission. So... I don't see any practical difference for them. Just that the Stop Limit doesn't get published until the Stop is reached, if reached at all, but that doesn't affect me, does it?

Calculated Risks are not that intimidating when you know what you're doing

    Posted: 27 Dec 2021 08:11 PM PST

Imagine 10 years from now how the top coin charts are gonna look like, you and me we can't predict that, no one can. But one thing is for certain, empires fall.

We could see the rise and many different coins and projects that no one has ever heard of, so to go ahead do your research well, invest in that shitcoin, invest in that project no one has heard about, buy that bag of that coin you wanted, see what it's all about.

Personally I've been investing in DeFi recently, got myself some ALGO, MKR and some BitDAO's BIT since I'm looking forward to see what they do with their treasury. Don't be afraid to invest in that project that isn't mainstream, it could and it will be worth it and you'll find everyone asking you how you knew about it one day.

Be careful, be safe, and always don't invest more than you're willing to lose, and most importantly, make sure the rug is firm under your feet.

Meme coins are simply for the people who want to be a part of the jokes itself. And this can be a good investment.

    Posted: 27 Dec 2021 01:40 PM PST

I've said this many times, meme coins might be not the best projects out there, but they're simply the type of project that you'll enjoy investing in. I mean when you invest in a meme coin, you should be certain that you're going to hear a lot of FUD and people telling you that this is the wrong investment.

I know, some of the meme coins communities are seeking unachievable goals, like Shiba reaching $1, but there are some of them that understand what the future of their investment will be.

Also, a challenge for the meme coins is the fact that we, as investors, are summarize the entire meme coins space by Shiba and Doge. While actually it's of the growing spaces in the cryptocurrency market, and some of the coins are sometimes outperforming Doge and Shiba Inu, like Dogelon for example, which recently made a 50% increase.

I'm not saying that the top project is going to be a meme coin, but it's surely one of the spaces that will be having a lot of investors in the coming years, and they can make some good investment material.

Which token will be the growth leader in 2022?

    Posted: 27 Dec 2021 04:31 AM PST

Hi guys, 2021 is already coming to an end, and soon 2022 with its own trends awaits us. I would like to know your opinion, which tokens are you betting on in 2022 and why?

Personally, I bet on NEAR and Matic.

NEAR and Matic are two very fundamental projects that have shown excellent growth in 2021 and I believe that in 2022 they will grow even more.
