I sold 9 bitcoin over the past 3 months

    Posted: 19 Dec 2021 04:16 PM PST

Average sell was around $55k. I know I will regret this one day in the future... BUT...

1st House - PAID IN FULL (Now a rental property)

    2nd House - 400k @ 2.75% NO ROOMMATES

    Hellcat - BOUGHT W CASH

Daily Driver - PAID IN FULL

Student Loans - PAID IN FULL

Credit Cards - PAID IN FULL

Personal Loans - PAID IN FULL

Job - Quit and found another job that pays the same (140k per year) With 1/3 less hours.

I could never have done this without Bitcoin. I bought a lot between $1200 and $4,000 in 2017. The freedom I feel now is unbelievable compared to the weight of all those payments.

One day, I'm sure it will be regrettable to part with 9 bitcoin @55k, but my immediate life is looking so fucking good... plus I still have 26 left. 😝

INB4 "hurr durr dont post your balances". Come after my bitcoin and you die.

Good evening to all and merry christmas.

My Bitcoin allows me to live stress-free.

    Posted: 19 Dec 2021 10:17 AM PST

Nothing scares me anymore, right now my financial future is secure. I have more money than I've ever had in my life. It can't be confiscated, stolen, devalued, undermined, frozen, etc. I can take it to any country on earth and easily convert it to some form of usable currency there. When hyperinflation comes, the price of Bitcoin will hyperinflate as well and my financial status will be protected. Holding Bitcoin has shown me that the news is just a tool of control to spread fear, uncertainty, doubt so that you act out of emotion, so I don't watch the news anymore. My life is tranquil, every day I just do what I need to do to acquire more Bitcoin and I execute my plan effortlessly knowing I am on the path to becoming my own sovereign person that nobody will be able to control without use of physical force, which I will be prepared for.

If You Can’t Kill Bitcoin, Join Bitcoin – Central Banks Will Follow the Same Path As Private Banks. If Bitcoin does not need central banks, central banks will need Bitcoin.

    Posted: 20 Dec 2021 03:08 AM PST

Bitcoin is an incredible monetary revolution aimed at giving power back to the people over money. Bitcoin aims to provide an alternative to the current monetary and financial system. Eventually, more and more people will opt for the Bitcoin system instead of the current system.

After trying to destroy Bitcoin throughout the 2010s by constantly denigrating it to the general public with false arguments, private banks finally realized that their best solution was to join the Bitcoin revolution.

This is what American banks are doing now, like JPMorgan. They are offering Bitcoin to their customers.

However, you should beware that these banks are trying to steal the liberating power of the Bitcoin revolution by becoming intermediaries between you and the Bitcoin system. Because Bitcoin is all about freeing you from these middlemen. By buying Bitcoin through intermediaries, you are missing out on the huge advantage of Bitcoin. You are leaving the power on the fruits of your labor to a third party.

In the future, it is certain that central banks will end up buying Bitcoin as well. Because if Bitcoin doesn't need central banks, central banks will need Bitcoin sooner or later. Again, it will be better for you to own Bitcoin in this eventuality.

It's only a matter of time in my opinion, as I explain in detail in the latest issue of the In Bitcoin We Trust Newsletter: https://inbitcoinwetrust.substack.com/p/if-you-cant-kill-bitcoin-join-bitcoin

Thomas Jefferson would have invested in Bitcoin.

"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered." - Thomas Jefferson

Just be careful out there guys

    Posted: 19 Dec 2021 01:39 PM PST

So in the Netherlands there is this popular guy called: Vincent Everts. For years he is one of the most if not the most popular Dutch Bitcoin maximalist. He is like the "go to" person for mainstream media to visit that can say something sensible and newsworthy about Bitcoin when it's pumping or dumping. He even bought a Tesla many years ago for 100 BTC... It's like he has it's own pizza story.

Anyhow, he recently gave a livestream at home for a television program. When during the stream 3 guys walked in with a gun demanding all of his sats. His first reaction when having a gun point blank at his head was "Fuck You" and told them too either leave or simply shoot him. He bet on the three individuals not having the balls to do so. His son and daughter were both home when all this played out. The intruders after a minute left his home knowing it was a failed mission. (Link added)

These three men who gained acces to the residence by one of them pretending to be the postman and convinving the daughter to open the door are still wanted by the police.

Although this guy gained most of his fame becuase of Bitcoin while he never disclosed how much he actualy got, the picture of a driveway full with 5 Tesla's and other cool tech does move some evil minded persons. Even if you aren't in the spotlight please be careful about what you post online and what you say to whom at whatever moment. It can like this instance lead to all of our nightmares. Even a simple presumption can be enough for some people to pick up some tools and rob the not so well guarded, one person bank. Simple things might someday come back to haunt you. Be careful out there guys.

Electricity is included in my rent. Should I get an Antminer S9?

    Posted: 19 Dec 2021 04:05 PM PST

I've never mined. I have $1,000 (cost of miner and power supply roughly), and google says they can mine about .03 bitcoin/mth, which is now almost $1,500.

Thoughts? Seems a better bet then putting that $1,000 into BTC right now.

Exactly 8 years ago the HODL meme was born from this legendary post on bitcointalk

    Posted: 19 Dec 2021 11:36 AM PST

On December 18th 2013 when BTC price was dipping after crossing $1000 for the first time the bitcointalk user named GameKyuubi made the following post titled "I AM HODLING" and it has become one of the most legendary Bitcoin memes.

I type d that tyitle twice because I knew it was wrong the first time. Still wrong. w/e. GF's out at a lesbian bar, BTC crashing WHY AM I HOLDING? I'LL TELL YOU WHY. It's because I'm a bad trader and I KNOW I'M A BAD TRADER. Yeah you good traders can spot the highs and the lows pit pat piffy wing wong wang just like that and make a millino bucks sure no problem bro. Likewise the weak hands are like OH NO IT'S GOING DOWN I'M GONNA SELL he he he and then they're like OH GOD MY ASSHOLE when the SMART traders who KNOW WHAT THE FUCK THEY'RE DOING buy back in but you know what? I'm not part of that group. When the traders buy back in I'm already part of the market capital so GUESS WHO YOU'RE CHEATING day traders NOT ME~! Those taunt threads saying "OHH YOU SHOULD HAVE SOLD" YEAH NO SHIT. NO SHIT I SHOULD HAVE SOLD. I SHOULD HAVE SOLD MOMENTS BEFORE EVERY SELL AND BOUGHT MOMENTS BEFORE EVERY BUY BUT YOU KNOW WHAT NOT EVERYBODY IS AS COOL AS YOU. You only sell in a bear market if you are a good day trader or an illusioned noob. The people inbetween hold. In a zero-sum game such as this, traders can only take your money if you sell.

so i've had some whiskey actually on the bottle it's spelled whisky w/e
    sue me
(but only if it's payable in BTC)
