Why would 2 nvidia GPU not work with each other Posted: 30 Nov 2021 02:38 AM PST Hi there, I have an RTX 5000 and a GTX 1660 Super in my PC and windows sees them both but one of them always has a yellow exclamation mark. If I update the driver on that one and restart, it is fine but then the other one has the exclamation mark. I am not sure how to get around this problem, Windows sees them both and identifies them, it just wont let me run both at the same time? [link] [comments] |
Powering riser with 6-pin perif port not working Posted: 30 Nov 2021 11:43 AM PST I have a 1600 watt EVGA power supply with perif and SATA ports. I tried to power a riser connected to a EVGA 3070 GPU but it is not working. I'm using a 6-pin to 6-pin to connect to the riser and perif port but the power supply won't come on when I turn on the motherboard. But if I connect the riser to a normal PCIe port it works. Any reason why it is not working when I connect it to the perif port? [link] [comments] |
Asus RX 570 possible heatsink allignment issue Posted: 30 Nov 2021 08:16 AM PST I had a RX 570 that was hotter with higher fan speeds than any of my other cards, so I ventured to repaste it. After doing so, the overheating problems worsened, and taking it apart again, I noticed that one of the standoff screws for the heatsink were bored out more that the others, effectively giving that screw a couple more turns, and by that making the spring tighter on that corner. Any other thoughts? [link] [comments] |
