On Nov. 25th, the Bitcoin Cash Node project received a 1000 BCH donation to our public wallet address. And some said voluntarism doesn't work, and that we need to tax the chain. Thanks for proving them wrong and for keeping BCH free and decentralized! I love this community!

Does anyone know who owns the mempool.cash domain? I am adapting the mempool.space BTC blockchain visualizer for BCH.

    Posted: 30 Nov 2021 09:29 AM PST

In accordance with u/Nervous-Inspector-14 's suggestion, I am working to adapt mempool.space for BCH. I have a partially-working version up at bchmempool.space , but mempool.cash may be a better domain -- yet it is owned by someone already. I'm wondering if that someone is somebody in the BCH community who could provide the domain for this purpose.

To be clear, I don't expect that a BCH version will need to be used much, since -- unlike BTC users -- BCH users don't need to worry about which fee level they need to pay to get their transactions into the next block...

(By the way, this is going to feed into my CashFusion work since it provides a VPS-hosted full BCH node to send auttomated RPC queries to so fusionstats.redteam.cash can be updated on every block automatically. Plus, it increases my understanding of how BCH RPC requests work, which is helpful for developing my R statistical analysis package for BCH.)

More fees are paid by SmartBCH transaction than the BCH transaction fee per day

    Posted: 30 Nov 2021 08:05 AM PST

The Bitcoin Cash transaction fee is about 1.35 BCH per day (https://bitinfocharts.com/bitcoin%20cash/).

The SmartBCH burning rate at present is about 2.2 SmartBCH per day. It means the the transaction fee for the SmartBCH network is about 4.4 SmartBCH per day.

    Hello ladies and lads!

I started my Youtube channel recently and two of my videos are about BlockChain Basics and Crypto Investment for Beginners. These are short (2min) informational videos and if you are now getting into Crypto or want to refresh your basics, feel free to watch it. It would mean the world to me <3

Constructive criticism would also be very much appreciated as I'm still developing my video making techniques - you will notice the two videos have different styles.

I did not look into it when I first heard about it. But I've been checking it out over the past few weeks and its AWESOME. I'm looking forward to seeing the ecosystem develop more and to see more new and interesting projects on there. No wonder we went from 20k locked BCH to 70k.

Is “burning” the most efficient use of these coins?

    Posted: 30 Nov 2021 07:55 AM PST

SmartBCH should allocate "burned" coins to a development/marketing fund.
