Can someone calculate the computing power of Litecoin miners vs Bitecoin miners?

Can someone calculate the computing power of Litecoin miners vs Bitecoin miners? I know i can see info via this chart ( https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/hashrate-btc-ltc.html#3y ) for example but the mining algorithms are different so we can't compare it in absolute numbers. I am really curious to know many miners / devices Litecoin newtork is using and compare it with the devices in Bitcoin Network. Also i would like to know where most of them are located. Any info?

Does Litecoin needs Lighting Network or it is cheap as hell no matter if the transaction takes place on Lighting or not?

So after a post i made i confirmed that Litecoin doesn't need LN so much right now (Link: https://www.reddit.com/r/litecoin/comments/pzsl7c/does_litecoin_needs_lighting_network_or_it_is/) My next question is where can i see statistics about Litecoin LN and maybe a guide about how to make my own...

So after a post i made i confirmed that Litecoin doesn't need LN so much right now. My next question is where can i see statistics about Litecoin LN (like this one i found for Bitcoin) and maybe a guide about how to make my own Litecoin LN node. I would really like to know how many Litecoin's is the Litecoin LN right now and if anyone is using it! Also i would really like to know if making your own Litecoin LN node can be profitable and give you back a small interest like Bitcoin's...

How to see commits to Litecoin repository when they stopped on Github

What if no one is working on Litecoin currently. And developers just are saying lies.

In comparison to other projects: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Sonala. For the example: Contributors to solana-labs/solana (github.com)

Why Litecoin is different from them. I never see any popular projects work like Litecoin.

    Project Roadmap

    Posted: 02 Oct 2021 01:55 AM PDT

Hello together, is there any reason why litecoin has no roadmap?

Litecoin is a nice project with a very good community. But the growth of the community could be better. One point which is often discussed is how we handle new developments.

And yes, it's not so easy to get an short introduction of the project status like next steps, passed developments or the target short and longterm.

Yes adoption is the target but is it a real target? No, you can't measure it.

Or is it not possible to create a real roadmap because of the structure of the project?

Or is it my mistake and litecoin has already a roadmap?

Does CoinMarketCap understate Litecoin's Market Cap on Purpose?

    Posted: 01 Oct 2021 02:28 PM PDT

It seems https://coinmarketcap.com/ seriously understates Litecoin's market cap; please follow my reasoning and let's try to see whether it's a mistake or intentional.

    1. Latest Litecoin block? #2132546
    2. We had 2 reward halvings, each with 840,000 blocks. That means (50 + 25) * 840,000 LTC were mined on those epochs + what has been mined after the last reward halving.
    3. The last reward halving was at block 840,000 * 2 = 1,680,000, and all blocks since have rewarded 12.5 LTC (one reason for the disparity in price between LTC and BTC is simply this, a higher inflation rate... those in the know will figure out what is the cheapest, most asymmetric investment over the long run)
    4. So if we're at block 2,132,546... we have mined, after the second halving, 12.5 * (2,132,546 - 1,680,000) LTC, putting us at exactly 68,656,825.00 LTC at this block. (To reach this number you must add the result of this equation here to the one of the previous epochs, in paragraph 2).

So here is my question: why does coinmarketcap say we have only mined 66,752,614.52 LTC?

That's almost two million Litecoin less than what is floating on the markets today. Does it sound as crazy for you as it does for me? Two MILLION Litecoin ignored?

TLDR: MarketCap of LTC is higher than reported by coinmarketcap, and it DOES affect the public's perception of Litecoin. I question whether that is that intentional or accidental.

Anyone else having trouble sending LTC from their Litecoin wallet?

    Posted: 01 Oct 2021 08:11 PM PDT

Been trying to deposit on Bovada. After submitting the funds it will show in my history as 40% complete for like 30 mins then the funds show back up in my wallet. Is there any fix to this?
