    Is £5k enough to buy a good miner?

    I want to get into mining, but I'm really new to this all and want to do an appropriate amount of research.

    I have £5k. Would this be enough to profit from mining? I was thinking of BTC, LTC it XRM

    I've read a few guides but most of it went over my head. Is there a step by step mining 101 guide anywhere?

    3060/3060ti LHR. Eth stable settings?

    I've just switched my 60 series rig (2x 3060, 1x 2060 & 1x 3060ti) from ERG to ETH.

    I'm using Win10, Trex 24.5 & the 2miners pool. Running with the below settings I'm running into crashes every 10mins.

    3060s: -502 clock, +1350 mem, PL70 3060ti: -200 clock, +1200 mem, PL60

    Please share your stable settings & hashrates. Various configs I've found on Reddit & other websites are also creating crashes.

    Is there a program that will auto switch like betterhash?

    Used to use Betterhash just to be able to autoswitch for profit but I now use gminer. Is there something like betterhash for gminer? I found Awesomeminer but to get it to run gminer with admin privs I have to pay for it.

    Ravencoin Lite suffered an internal attack when one of the members went rogue. (Discord, Twitter and website was removed).

    This does however not effect the blockchain or any code. We are working harder than ever to move RVL forward. The dev team is intact, and the project is very much alive.

    At my wits end with Video TDR Failure "nvlddmkm.sys"

    I'd like to say that I suspect this to be a software issue but I'm open to anything hardware related fixes too.

    My mining rig has been unstable for the last few days. Every morning I'd wake up to a computer that has been restarted.

    I've been mining for the last 3 and a half months with 0 issues, last month and a half I've been mining with 2 rigs, my gaming PC, which has a 3080 that I game on and a 3060ti that mines 24/7.

    My other rig has a 3080 and 2x3060ti's

    My room has been getting too hot so I moved the 3060ti from my gaming rig to my mining rig. And that's when the system became unstable.

    Mining rig specs:

    PSU: Corsair 1000watt PSU

    Mobo: Asus tuff b560-plus wifi, 4G video encoding enabled

    CPU: i5-10105F

    2x gigabyte 3060ti @ 165watts, 55°c

    1x evga 3080 @230watts, 48°c

    All parts are less than a month old.

    Like I said before, I added an extra 3060ti to this rig and the whole system has had a range of issues.

    BSOD: Most frequent issue, I get the error code "Video TDR Failure" "nvlddmkm.sys".

    Overclocking software resetting. Sometimes I'd notice that the overclocking software goes haywire, I've had one of my 3060ti's mine 1.6mh/s @ 9watts. Shows that memory frequency is 0.

    I'm using precision X1, I have also tried afterburner, same issue. I'm mining with T-Rex miner.

    Things I've tried. I have moved a 3060ti back to my gaming rig, gaming rig mines with 0 issues. Other rig still crashes AFTER removing a 3060ti.

    I've uninstalled and reinstalled windows 10

    I've DDU'd all cards

    I've tried changing the ram

    I have ordered a new PSU in case my psu is the issue, ordered a 1600watt PSU. But I don't think the psu is the issue since I'm getting the same issue with only 3 cards.

    Any help would be much appreciated

    Mining Mother Boards

    Does anyone have any recommendations for new/used boards? I have an old 1150 socket cpu I could use but I'm also ok with buying new hardware. It just seems like all the past recommendations are sold out.
