    Some Kucoin coins have been absolutely popping lately. Particularly better than small/micro caps on other exchanges. They have some great technical patterns that have been playing out perfectly. And I wanted to share some that are set up nicely to prevent people from chasing the ones that are already green and took off.

    MAKI. Huge flag has broken out with volume. The retest has been bought up pretty good today but not too late to enter.

    ORAI. Couple of double bottoms playing out well in this one. Overhead resistance and lower support are getting close. Entries are marked on the map. Also have some good news releasing in Q4. Over 500% returns to return to all time high.

    CAS. Broke above a heavy resistance line and retested today. Find a small pattern on smaller timeframes for entry. Plenty of upside remaining on this one.

    LOCG. Has broken out and retested a smaller pattern. Keep an eye for a support retest or breakout of larger pattern.

    ACE. Large double bottom forming. Aggressive buy entry was hit yesterday. Watch for another retest of that support level or a breakout of the double bottom.

    ARRR. This one will need time to play out. Either buy on the bottom trendline support as an aggressive entry. Or buy the breakout/retest of the falling wedge.

    EQZ. Double bottom being printed inside a massive triangle. Breakout/Retest of the triangle or double bottom would be great. Lots of upside to this one if it breaks out.

    I made twitter account to help you with crypto investing!

    So I know things are going well right now for most coins, but I decided to make a twitter bot to help you buy low and sell high, and not the other way around.

    It started as a hobby project made to help with crypto investing. It's purpose is to determine whether current prices are significantly/statistically lower (dips) or higher (peaks) than it has been in the last two weeks. Buying these dips and selling at these peaks will yield greater return on investment. Whether you sell or not is entirely up to you, but a portfolio that buys at dips will definitely outperform a scheduled-time-purchases (e.g., DCA).

    Two items are posted periodically:

    1. Current cryptocurrency prices are fetched from coinmarketcap & coingecko API every 20 minutes. Z-scores are posted every hour unless when large dips/moons are happening, z > 2 or z < -2, the results are posted immediately.

    1. 24-hour trends in z-scores are posted three times a day: 11:30am, 7:30pm and 3:30am EST.

    So what are z-scores?

    Z-scores for each cryptocurrencies are calculated from trading volume-adjusted two-week moving averages and standard deviations.

    1. Z-score greater than +2 means that the current price is significantly HIGHER than what's expected from the last two weeks. In this case, you may consider selling some coins to take some profits assuming that your average cost per coin is lower than the current price. If you're looking to buy at z-score > 2, you will be paying a premium.
    2. 2. Z-score less than -2 means that the current price is significantly LOWER than what's expected from the last two weeks. In this case, you may consider buying more coins as it is a good time to buy, and prices may go back to norm.
    3. 3. Z-score between +2 and -2 means that the current price is very similar to the average price of last two weeks. In other words, the price is fair.

    Does it work?

    Yes, buying cryptos when z-scores are less than -2 or -3 can make you 6-20% additional returns on your investment. Detailed information on how BuyTheDip makes more on your investment can be found here. But at the end of the day, because the crypto market has been appreciating in a significant pace, the most important part is to keep investing.

    • TOP: historical bitcoin prices from 2018-10-02 to 2021-09-02
    • MID: historical bitcoin z-scores from 2018-10-02 to 2021-09-02
    • BOT: historical bitcoin prices in log scale from 2018-10-02 to 2021-09-02
    • white arrows: Buys whenever z-score reached less than -2
    • red arrows: Buys whenever z-score reached less than -3

    Investment scenario

    total of 7,700 USD is invested in each scenario. For ease, I used 60,00060,000 as today's bitcoin price.

    • S1: 100.00 dollars invested into bitcoin every two weeks between the period of 2018-10-02 to 2021-09-02. The span is around 154 weeks, so a total of 77 purchases were made, and we assume that the investor paid two-week average bitcoin price.
    • S2: Bitcoin is bought everytime z-score dips below -2 (white arrows). This has happened 1000 times between 2018-10-02 to 2021-09-02 (which may sound like a lot, but keep in mind that the data is calculated hourly). To keep the comparisons fair, a total of 7,700 USD is invested (works out to be 7.70 USD per purchase).
    • S3: Bitcoin is bought everytime z-score dips below -2 (red arrows). This has happened 139 times between 2018-10-02 to 2021-09-02, so now we're talking real bit dips. Again, to keep the comparisons fair, a total of 7,700 USD is invested (works out to be 55.39 USD per purchase).

    This differs from the previous function in one aspect: Dips are calculated from current prices rather than moving day averages. These dips are risky in that *they're not statistically true dips*. To be used when you want to get on a coin that's trending up, but don't want to FOMO at sell order prices.

    • Level 1 barely any spice dip = Ajvar. What the price (USD) would be if z-score dropped to -1.
    • Level 2 mild spice dip = Cajun. What the price (USD) would be if z-score dropped to -1.5.
    • Level 3 medium dip = Tabasco. What the price (USD) would be if z-score dropped to -2.
    • Level 4 hot dip = Jerk. What the price (USD) would be if z-score dropped to -2.0.
    • Level 5 very hot dip = Sambal. What the price (USD) would be if z-score dropped to -2.5.

    This happened way too often and while I do recover eventually after the prices rise, the mere thought of losing 50% of the money I invested makes me sweat.

    I thought by now I would get used to it but that's not the case at all right now. And while a lot of indications and trusted volatility indexes like Govi's Crypto Volatility Index are currently showing a rather moderate volatility level, I still get anxious anytime I see a rise in Bitcoin's price.

    Isn't reaching a billion transaction something to talk about? I mean this is historical not to be the talk of the town in the ecosystem. I can see that this is directly related to the huge number of dApps building on Polygon. We're talking about 3000+ dApps including the top as Sushi, Aavegotchi, and Arc8… I should be mentioning the on-growing community that is believing in this project. Personally, I am one of the believers in MATIC as a whole concept, the fact that it designed itself to be one of the most complete networks makes it a live lasting project for me.

    In this period of time, Polygon has continuously broken its all-time highs, and for today, it was breaking the 2 dollars barrier! I guess that's a sign of how MATIC will be closing its 2021.

    On another thought, another mind blowing moment is when Polygon invested a billion dollars into ZK tech with their Hermez merger. A fundamental requirement for enterprise use cases as well as one of the most requested features by blockchain users overall. Don't you think if more chains put in this kind of funding into their techs and tools instead of marketing the whole ecosystem would be somewhere efficient, effective, and better?
