I still have a handful of ETH, but multiple handfuls would be cool.

I Found a Scammers Main Eth Address and Binance exchange wallet, THEY ARE A WHALE!!! Let's take this DIRTBAG out!!!

    Posted: 01 Sep 2021 04:50 PM PDT

Hello everyone! Posted a warning on this subreddit yesterday about a YT scam. Yesterday I was on YT just listening to music and I came across a "live-stream" interview of VB with the title reading "ETH TO 40K BEFORE END OF 2021" or some click bait title like that. So I went ahead and checked it out and it was obviously an old interview that was stolen off another legit channel and playing on loop. The video was advertising the "Send X amount of ETH and we will double it!!", with a link to some website with the QR code for the ethereum address. The video had the comments turned off for obviously reasons. So I wanted to see how much this dbag had gotten already. After about 2 hours, this mf had been sent almost 75k worth of ETH...🤦

Fast forward to about an hour or so ago, im taking a break from work and wanted to see if scumbag ended up getting more. Turns out they had withdrawn it to another address. So I start digging through all the transactions on etherscan and I end up finding their main wallet address. This MF has scammed 457.5 ETH, which is approximately $1.7M, in the past day and a half...BRUH! 😱😱😱

The all this ETH is flowing into this main wallet from multiple (a shit-ton) addresses. Total current value of this main wallet is approximately $37M...No transactions out for almost 14 days.

Here is where is gets interesting... After scrolling through the pages of transactions, I finally find out where all this scammed ethereum is going. Turns out its getting sent to the Binance exchange. This MF is a WHALE!!! Their Binance Ethereum Wallet has over $4 BILLION USD worth of crypto!!!! Now there is NO WAY IN F-ING HELL that this account worth 4 F-ING BILLION DOLLARS is not KYC'd...😱😱😱

Let's bring this POS to justice...

Here are the etherscan.io links to the wallets mentioned above:

Wallet address from YouTube scam - https://etherscan.io/address/0x89384f1547C7a09c373a937a23B37C644F37927a

Scammers Main Eth address - https://etherscan.io/address/0xa305fab8bda7e1638235b054889b3217441dd645

Scammers Binance Ethereum wallet address - https://etherscan.io/address/0x28c6c06298d514db089934071355e5743bf21d60

And here if you want the link to the YT live stream, which links you to the scam website just look at my last posts!

UPDATE Went through the comments on the main ethereum wallet on etherscan.io and apparently this mf has been doing this for 3 years. Apparently he scammed some people in a discord lobby and they got ahold of his IP. 104.183.103.36

I would like to think that they would be smart and use a VPN, but maybe they slipped up... the IP is from Florida, US. Zip code 33410. Coordinates 26.8238, -80.1407 👀👀👀👀

    Finally Off ETH2 Waitlist

“Ethereum is seen as a better store of value -- that’s why it has been preferred by institutions for a while now,” said Matt Maley, chief market strategist for Miller Tabak + Co. “It is now becoming preferred among all investors.” In the long run, ethereum has a real chance of outperforming bitcoin.

Sold everything else, I'm all in on ETH! Half Stake, Half HODL

    Posted: 01 Sep 2021 06:39 PM PDT

Currently staking majority of my ETH, and I've watched my BETH gain a few dollars over the last few weeks. Today I sold all my LTC, MBOX & BNB and converted it all into ETH at an ATH. I've already posted like $4 profit today alone.

I have about $30 BETH (staked originally $25) & I just bought another $20 ETH. Should I HODL the $20 I just bought or look at Staking it for ETH 2.0.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated

    Need help choosing specialisation

    Posted: 01 Sep 2021 07:22 PM PDT

Hi all, I'm currently doing a post graduate program in Software development. I need to choose a specialisation soon. I'm struggling between Full Stack and Blockchain. I have an interest in both.

I want to know a little about Blockchain app development. How much does the process differ from building web apps apart from writing blockchain logic and code.

And do you think choosing blockchain would be a good option for an amateur coder like me. I can code basic programs in Java and I know I need to do a lot of programming for blockchain which I'm okay with.

Can .eth website be hacked easily ?

    Posted: 01 Sep 2021 08:08 PM PDT

Hello guys, I been looking into .eth domains and websites as well.

I got the gist that sites host on eth blockchain are decentralized and resistant to censorship etc.

How easy it is to be a .eth website to get hacked ?

From simple sql injection to backdoor, malware etc .

    Thank you .

Just moved funds from Arbitrum to Ethereum in 10 minutes!!

    Posted: 01 Sep 2021 07:35 PM PDT

The future is here! After making a small profit on Arbidoge (don't ask), I was able to use the Celer bridge to move USDC from Arbitrum to Polygon, then the Hop Exchange to move the USDC back to Ethereum. Total time spent was about 10 min, which is a huge improvement over the ~8 day wait time to use the official Arbitrum bridge. Hope everyone has enjoyed the last 24 hours of L2 goodness (and if you're not here already, what are you waiting for??).

How to answer "What's up with gas fees rn?" on your own

    Posted: 01 Sep 2021 08:26 AM PDT

    tl;dr: It's NFTs. It's always NFTs

So it's that time again, gas fees spiked, what's going on? 10 threads pop up with screenshots asking what's up, that's unacceptable, etc etc. I figured I'd take this oppportunity to explain how to figure it out for yourself next time this happens

First step is to ask yourself what happened the last 50 times the base fee spiked like that. The answer is usually "NFT dropped"

Then go to https://ultrasound.money/ on the 1H leaderboard and notice that the usual suspects (OpenSea, Uniswap, etc.) have been bumped off their usual spots on the leaderboard by random addresses and weird names like "Afro Droids"

Look up afro droids on google, and sure enough it's an NFT thing that just dropped an hour ago. When these things launch, it's first come first serve. Like a black friday sale. It doesn't matter if you'll pay $100 in gas fees when you might be able to sell it for outrageous amount like 420 ETH a week later.

Then you can click on the other hex addresses to see them on etherscan, one of them has the name "CleverGirls" and is an ERC721 so another NFT thing [that just launched today](blob:https://imgur.com/5ba7331d-5bd7-42d5-84d8-41e3b2bb0574)

Why not another? 0x3eff964d... points to something called BeatnikTikTribe which of course is yet another NFT drop

I have a collection NFT that I want to mint on OpenSea, and I'm confused about Ethereum vs Polygon

    Posted: 01 Sep 2021 01:35 AM PDT

If I use the Polygon blockchain on OpenSea, does that mean the NFT doesn't live on the Ethereum blockchain, and instead lives on the Polygon blockchain? If someone buys it, can they not transfer it to the Ethereum blockchain? Will people who own ETH on the Ethereum blockchain still be able to buy it on the Polygon blockchain? Sorry for all of the question, I know next to nothing about Polygon. I was only looking at it as an option because I wouldn't have to worry about gas fees.

I made a free NFT for early Arbitrum adopters. This might be the very first NFT collection on Arbitrum, and YOU can grab a piece for free :)

I made a free NFT for early Arbitrum adopters. This might be the very first NFT collection on Arbitrum, and YOU can grab a piece for free :)

    The NFT contract: https://arbiscan.io/token/0xea521f642d1ee05aca25979b7b6d7c83b24aa901

The NFT is called Arbitrum Genesis NFT. The NFT contract is created by a minter contract that will only mint 1000 editions and stop working after that.

    How to claim:

All you need is some ETH bridged to pay for the gas fee. I deployed a small dapp to IPFS where you can easily claim the NFT: ipfs://QmWPqzAB4BV6PLPHa3nUASkwpCSuZcrDUsUoXL1QfzNN2N

If you are skeptical about the dapp, you will also be able to claim directly from arbiscan.io when they enable contract verifications. You will be able to see all the code there too.

The minter contract only mints one NFT per address so don't try to claim more than one.

This might be the actual first NFT collection on Arbitrum:

    https://arbiscan.io/tokens-nft

EDIT: I verified the contract, you can claim directly from arbiscan now and read all the source code:

    https://arbiscan.io/address/0xb8a57bb0f4cdf36313668ca1c59d8ead53eccbce#writeContract

Congrats to all early adopters! :)

The other NFTs were before Arbitrum was open to the main public, except the 'ArbEmptyNFT'. (Is this a collection?)

EDIT 2: Wow! I wasn't expecting this to blow up so hard. The contract quickly reached 1000 mints finished minting. I feel bad for the people who missed out. Here's the last tx: https://arbiscan.io/tx/0x8c6d093c545c30f1c453ae9a08f4384b9ea20e233ca7495f438680b4d131f45b

I will eventually make a small ipfs webpage explaining more about this NFT, thanks u/pepescennius for the suggestion and congrats to everyone who managed to grab a mint.

    Issues converting my ETH

    Posted: 01 Sep 2021 06:57 PM PDT

If wrong place I will delete.

Long story short, had a "learning experience" awhile back and lost a wallet (fun money). Randomly got it back today finding my info. Moved from Trust Wallet to Metamask but did not realize BEP20. Scouring online not finding great answers. Putting costs aside is there an easier way to convert BEP20 to ERC20 without Binance?

I am okay with Binance however looking at the bridge having issues being in the US

I may be big dumb on this
