Got an email claiming Bitcoin.com Local is migrating to LocalCryptos. True? Posted: 09 Sep 2021 10:37 PM PDT From the email: We're excited to announce that Bitcoin.com Local is migrating to LocalCryptos. This change will not only provide you with a deeper market for peer-to-peer BCH trading, you'll also be able to trade BTC, ETH, LTC, and DASH - all in one feature-rich and secure platform. How do I migrate my Bitcoin.com Local account to LocalCryptos? Just follow the instructions <here> [took out the link to email.Bitcoin.com/... in case it is a personalized invite code] and you'll be set up on LocalCryptos in seconds. Your new LocalCryptos account will have the same password and public profile information. What happens to my funds that are already on Bitcoin.com Local? Since your Bitcoin.com Local wallet is <non-custodial> [took out the link to email.Bitcoin.com/... in case it is a personalized invite code] , you'll remain in full control of your funds. Your wallet on LocalCryptos will remain end-to-end encrypted and non-custodial, meaning neither Bitcoin.com Local nor LocalCryptos will ever have access to your private keys. What happens to my peer-to-peer trading reputation? This will be migrated to LocalCryptos. For example, if you have 33 trades, $39K in P2P trading volume, and a 100% good feedback score on Bitcoin.com Local, all of this information will be shown on LocalCryptos when you migrate. What about my offers? Any existing buy and sell offers on your Bitcoin.com Local account will be moved to LocalCryptos once you migrate. The only offers that aren't moving over to your new account are those from the Goods and Steam items marketplaces, as LocalCryptos doesn't carry marketplaces of this kind. What happens to my trades in progress? Trades in progress will carry on as normal. However, you'll need to complete any ongoing trades before you migrate your account. What about my trade history? Unfortunately, your trade history and conversations will not be migrated. If you'd like to keep a copy of your trade history for your records, you'll have the option to download a final spreadsheet during the migration process. Can I remain anonymous? Absolutely! LocalCryptos doesn't collect personal information or use tracking services of any kind. You will not be subjected to KYC procedures. Will everything else be the same? The same or better. On LocalCryptos, you'll have 40+ ways to pay, all messages are end-to-end encrypted, and trades are facilitated by the same blockchain-powered escrow service. The key difference is that, with more than 200,000 peer-to-peer crypto traders in 100+ countries, you'll have a bigger pool of people to trade with! What if I don't want to migrate? You're free to withdraw your BCH from your Bitcoin.com Local wallet. Thank you for your support of Bitcoin.com Local. If you have any questions or concerns about this upgrade, please don't hesitate to ask our <Support Team> [took out the link to email.Bitcoin.com/... in case it is a personalized invite code] . Sincerely, The Bitcoin.com Local and LocalCryptos Teams ... [link] [comments]

Posted: 09 Sep 2021 03:27 PM PDT Last year, Kim Dotcom was heavily promoting BCH and his upcoming content monetization system, k.im. I haven't heard anything about it in a long time, but the website says Q4 2021 release, which is right around the corner. Does anyone know anything about it? Is it still on track? Are there any employee paycheck crypto apps? Posted: 09 Sep 2021 07:48 PM PDT Are there apps out there that make it easier for employers to regularly pay employees with crypto? It seems like it's a critical piece of the puzzle thats under-represented. Merchant adoption is obviously very important, but there has to be easier ways of getting crypto into consumers hands. How to swap SmartBCH tokens back to BCH? Posted: 09 Sep 2021 07:42 AM PDT Hi, I transferred a small amount of BCH to my MetaMask SEP20 address. I was just messing around on benswap.cash to see how it all works. Now I'm trying to send the amount that I have remaining back to my CoinFlex account as BCH but it doesn't seem to work. Or I must be doing something wrong. Can anyone help me out here? I was trying to send my SmartBCH to SEP20 address provided by my CoinFlex wallet and so I get Transaction Error: Internal JSON-RPC error. Okay fine, I go to change the transaction fee and then I get this: https://i.imgur.com/H9Ms2Rs.jpg I need more ETH? Update: SOLVED. Apparently when withdrawing funds from MetaMask wallet when you hit the MAX button on send screen it will try to send ALL the smartbch you have in there. Which means you won't have enough left to pay for the fees. If you want to withdraw everything then you have to send ALL minus the transaction fee. Honestly I think this is something that should be calculated automatically by the wallet. [link] [comments]

Posted: 10 Sep 2021 01:00 AM PDT If this is a "BCH" group, why do you use the "BTC" name? This is just to mislead newcomers into buying bch instead of btc, right? I'm prepared for the downvotes. [link] [comments]
Addressing the issues faced during launch Posted: 10 Sep 2021 12:56 AM PDT During our launch, a few issues were faced once the Start Block was verified on respective chains. The team and developers would like to take this opportunity to address these issues, as well as the measures that were taken to resolve these issues.
When users were not able to stake and withdraw their tokens on our websites frontend, we immediately dived down into our codes to figure out the issue. The library that was used to handle big number values was converting large values into exponential form. (Example : 1000000000000000000 was converted to 1e18.) The smart contracts don't expect values in exponential form. Therefore an error was thrown while staking and withdrawing. Do note that you can deposit and withdraw using block explorers of respective chains, BSC and Polygon. Solution — We changed the library for handling big numbers to Bignumber.js
On polygon, USDC was used to calculate TVL, Total staked liquidity, as well as a user's staked value. USDC on polygon is a 6 decimal token, while the common decimal values for a token is 18 decimals. As such, due this miscalculation, the valuations across TVL, Total staked liquidity and User's Stake was wrong. Solution — Used different decimals for each token to get it fixed. We acknowledge our mistakes and apologise for any inconvenience caused. The team is currently working hard to address these issues, as well as Wallet Connectivity and the integration of Trust Wallet! About yRace yRace is a community based project headed by the developers from RACE™ Foundation and RACEconomy, a blockchain company specialized in real asset investment. [link] [comments]
