    Ever since I found out Menufy accepts BCH, I've been using it for takeout orders almost exclusively. The experience has been smooth, fast, and seemless. Fees are essentially non-existent.

    Everyone on this sub should be doing this!

    gaze.cash is a video monetization platform that uses bitcoin cash for per-view payments.

    So after much feedback and deliberation I decided to allow free videos on the platform, I realized that my original reasoning for not hosting free content at all was more idealistic than realistic. When you upload a video now you can choose for it to be watchable at no cost, meaning the watcher would not even have to have any bch in the web wallet. Free videos can still receive tips though.

    Other features I've added since the last update are:

    - implemented "follow" feature, you can now follow channels and check your feed for their latest videos.

    - Added "maximum cost" option to advanced search.

    - (Visual improvements) Video thumbnails now scale to always fill the container, Improved alignment of various components.

    Lots of mainstream subs have related topics discussed frequently and BCH is very under-represented in these threads as I see it (lots of brainless BTC bagholders tho).

    While it's important to educate people who somehow end up on /r/btc preaching to the choir here won't do much.

    The term "sidechain" itself has multiple definitions, Smart BCH will launch as a federated sidechain but intends to shift to a decentralized bridge called "SHA-gate" where miners vote on outgoing transfers in a covenant contract.     What not many people know is Bitcoin also has a EVM compatible sidechain called Rootstock or RSK for short which launched in 2018 already. Rootstock intends to move to drivechain, a decentralized bridge that has similarities to the SHAgate idea. Apparently there's also the idea of having SPV verification inside the blockchain itself as a sidechain mechanism with Proof-of-work.

    Sidechains played an important part in the vision blockstream sold to their investors but they never delivered on their idea of sidechain constructors - a shame because the idea has a lot of potential. Instead they just developed their closed source federated liquid sidechain instead of a noncustodial and decentralized 2 way peg. See this great article " Is Liquid A "Real" Sidechain?
