    Yesterday when the moderators of HiveOS were asked for their response they stated in complete arrogance and defiance of all measures of decency and transperency

    HiveOS admin TiasJornesson says I quote

    "We've been around for quite some time. Our reputation speaks for itself. If we were to spend time answering every keyboard warrior's misinformed little rant, we'd be doing nothing else."

    Pursuant to his response, anyone who brought up the topic was immediately banned and kicked off their discord.

    I for one, will no longer be using their services. I live in a democracy not Soviet Russia. We pay them for their services in good faith, not so they can rip of us off like some shady 2 bit Chinese pool.

    If you have pending payouts at HiveON under the 0.1 ETH threshold, say goodbye to those earned coins. They secretly went and changed their policy and FAQ just before the 28th to remove the payout under the threshold. Users report that HiveOn support is telling them to pound sand. This is essentially stealing. I would suggest folks get out before they make more drastic changes, taking ETH from your pocket.

    To clear up some confusion on Nvidia LHR cards and Algos.

    I noticed myself there's so much confusion on LHR cards, thanks Nvidia!

    So let's start!!

    RTX 3060 Rev 1 Started out The first LHR. Only affected ETH based coins. Eventually was cracked on windows allowing full MH unlock with right Nvidia drivers, PCIe x16 slot and HDMI dummy plug.

    RTX 3060 Rev 2 Nvidia fixed there mistake, the windows trick does NOT work on Rev 2 cards. Additionally they are Hashrate limited in ERG now as well.

    RTX 3070 and 3060ti LHR Same as 3060 rev 2. They are hashrate limited in ETH and ERG. Full hashrate for RVN and other coins.

    RTX3070ti and 3080ti LHR Hashrate limited in ETH, however ERG and Raven Hashrates are normal, unlike the 3060ti/3060/3070 LHR

    Side note the 3070ti does same hashrate in ERG as the 3070/3060ti non LHR. Seems like the 3070ti should outperform it, no idea why.

    Currently there are some ETH unlockers for LHR from NBminer and Lolminer to get about %70 of hashrate.

    Nvidia statement was to get "cards in the hands of gamers" but they are fully aware that the limiters will be bypassed eventually, they recognize this.

    Founder editions 3070/3060ti are not LHR even going forward. The Founders edition 3070ti and 3080ti are LHR

    3090s are non LHR, Nvidia states they will not make a 3090 LHR because of how expensive the GPU is they don't expect miners to buy them .

    Well looks like the Best Buy in store event is tomorrow. Going to get there stupid early if it means I have a shot at a reasonably priced card. Now I just need to figure out if I happen to get a pick which one I should grab. Based on the price on the website and current profitability it looks like the 3060ti is the best deal. What else should I consider or should I just get a 3080 or better? Info below is based on my electric rate.

    3090 price $1499 earns $8.40 179 day ROI

    3080ti price $1,199 earns $7.31 164 day ROI

    3080 price $699 earns $5.5 127 day ROI

    3070ti price $599 earns $5.21 114 day ROI

    3070price $499 earns $4.37 114 day ROI

    3060ti price $399 earns $4.37 91 day ROI

    Why are non-LHR cards are so coveted when the difference in profits between LHR and non-LHR cards are negligible?

    I understand that LHR only slows down the rate for a couple eth algos but otherwise they mine as fast at non-LHR cards and the difference in profits using something like nicehash is negligible. Why is it that non-LHR cards sell for so much more and seem to be much more coveted? Am I missing something?

    Does anyone have experience hanging GPU’s within server cabinets (not cases)?

    I'm currently rack mounting GPU's within server cases, which is working - but it looks as though it's more viable to run a larger motherboard capable of running 12 GPU's per unit (I'm at 5 per case now)

    My thought is I'd be able to keep everything cooler and even more quiet as well, given there will be more open air around the cards, and I can exhaust heat from the top of the cabinet (rather than forcing it through individual 4U racks).

    If you have experience with this, are you hanging the cards on "layers"?

    How many cards can you fit on one layer?

    What cards and what at the temps like?

    How tall is the cabinet?

    0.75 mm thermals pads for Sapphire rx580 Nitro?

    Guys, where can I buy 0.75 mm pads for Sapphire Nitros? Can only find 1.0 mm or 0.5 mm (both don't work, I tried, and it seems like 0.75 is the right thickness). If you have experience with Sapphires specifically, can you recommend the brand you used? Thanks.
