- Any recommendations for these GPU OC settings I use for my 2060 Super gaming PC that I do both mine and game on?

Replacing Thermal Pads and Brand Recommendation Posted: 06 Jul 2021 03:27 PM PDT I just bought a used EVGA 3090 FTW 3, being delivered to me in couple days. And I own one of TUF 3080, MSI 3080 Trio, and EVGA 1070 FTW. Tuf 3080 (96 mh/s at 98C vram) EVGA 1070 FTW (28 mh/s at 54C core) are performing okay, so I'm considering leaving them unmodded. And I heard EVGA stock thermal pads are great too. MSI 3080 Trio, however, definitely needs repadded, performing 86 mh/s at 100C vram. Both 3080s are at 70% power, -150 core, +1200 mem at 70% fan (oc settings). [tl;dr] Should I replace thermal pads on all of my gpus or just the MSI Trio? And what brand do you recommend? PSU Dual PCIE 6+2 Good for two GPUS? Posted: 06 Jul 2021 03:50 PM PDT I have a DA700 PSU, it has two dual PCIE (6+2). I am trying to power two GPUs, a 3070 and a 1660 super. I am not sure how safe it is to use a the PCIE splitter to power both. Any advice? [link] [comments]
Project - need help with cooling pump! Posted: 06 Jul 2021 12:15 PM PDT Hey peeps! I need your help since I am pretty much stuck with my project. I want to put a small crypto mining rig into a dielectrical fluid. The rig is fully submerged in dielectrical fluid. The fluid is being pumped through pipes to a cooler and then back to the rig. My end goal would be connecting the cooling system to a heat exchanger and supplying my house's heating system with wasted energy from the rig. But I am hung up on the pump. So far I have chosen the EK-DDC 3.2 PWM since it seems to be a fitting option. However, there's two problems:
I have looked up similar models, but every pump I have looked at seems to have these limits. Alternatively, I could by pumps for house heating systems which don't have these issues, but the cheapest models are around three times the cost. Or I could by far cheaper pumps for model building, but most of these cannot be adjusted for speed / flow which is important to me since I want to adjust the flow automatically according to the fluid temperature and I also have concerns about these model pumps when it comes to durability. Do any of you know whether points 1 and 2 are an issue or not? Or could you suggest another model that does not have any of these limitaions? Edit: Fluid is Electrocool EC 100 [link] [comments]

Posted: 06 Jul 2021 09:48 AM PDT Settings Screeenshot for 2060 Super- imgur.com/a/xsh4Gxv Before I was changing settings every time I switched to mining but that started causing problems. So now I leave it on these settings and gaming performance seems the same and temps have been good. Just wanted to find out if anything stood out to you fine people. Thanks! [link] [comments]
