    Well well well, looks like the tide is finally turning. The markets are a fickle mistress and for the first time in almost a year and a half, the market looks like it might be preparing for a crash. Prices in Germany (3DCenter) have hit a 6 month low and Chinese miners are continuing to flood local markets with cheap, second hand parts. With the wider crypto market in a lul as well, the stage is set for a crash, making this potentially, the worst time to buy a GPU.

    lolMiner and a virus..

    I downloaded lolMiner and discovered a replace text binary that anything you copied and pasted eth/etc or 0x* would be replaced with the writers address.. has anyone else noticed this?

    I have the binary and stuff and address used in this is "0xD04A334eF61664Ab9743f562c3986689d6B9dadA"

    This is from the site lolMiner.ac. Make sure you use the GitHub link https://github.com/Lolliedieb/lolMiner-releases/releases that's the only place the valid binaries are hosted. Ever.

    Can't get Parallel Miner pico adapter to power motherboard

    I have connected my HP 1200W PSU to my MSI Z390-A PRO motherboard with a pico adapter from Parallel Miner. I can get the PSU to power the GPUs but I cannot get it to power the motherboard. I have used an ATX PSU to power the MB. The GPUs are 4 x 1660s so it is well below the 900W available (900W is maximum at 110v) so there is more than enough power.

    I plug the 24 pin connector into the MB and connect it to the breakout board. I plug the 4pin CPU connector into the 8pin MB connector. I suspect the issue is the CPU power needs an 8pin adapter and I only have a 4 pin. Is the issue as simple as getting a 4pin to 8pin adapter or is there something else that I can try to troubleshoot?

    Advice for air extractor and growth tent?

    Hello. I am looking to remove the insane heat i have with my rig.

    Looking to expand it aswell to 1-1.5Gh/s Mainly composed of 3080/3090 so should reach around 3000w.

    I have a Y on the tubing used to evacuate humidity from the bathroom.

    Thought about slapping a tube from a growth tent onto it.

    Ideally i want an extractor that isn't too loud.

    Any things i should be looking for while searching for my extractor?

    Growth tent is generic so cheapest one i guess?

    Cancelled GPU order from December 20

    Hello folks,

    I was lucky enough to place an order for 4x 3060 Ti MSI Ventus X2 for under 2,000€ on December, between the model release and the price explosion. Unfortunately, the retailer was not able to fulfill this order. They sent me multiple notifications saying they are sorry for the delay and they don't know when they will be able to ship the GPUs. I could cancel the order or wait. Every single time, I've chosen to wait.

    Today, they sent me that their provider will never sent the requested model so I can chose another one or cancel the order. After having submitted a list of models I wanted (literally all the 3060 Ti out there), they said models are out of stock (u don't say) and price is too high regarding the order so the last option I have is to cancel.

    I have waited for so long for nothing.

    Is there anything else I can do?

    PS: I live in Belgium. The retailer is a recognized business, not an individual. I don't want to say their name because I don't want them to have a bad image because of my post.

    EDIT: They asked if I wanted a model in stock (3070 SUPRIM for 980€), I refused. I asked if I can have founders editions because they have the lowest price, not possible to backorder them. And they have a limit of one model at a time. So I've chosen to replace my advantageous order with a regular one, a single 3090 for more or less 2200€. This was my last GPU order. I'm done.

    Anyone that upgraded to the 0.6-204@210608 version had their GPUs constantly crashing with a previous rock solid OC? i downgraded and the crashing was gone.

    Best splitter setup for x3 3070 and a 6700XT?

    Hello!

    I got this PSU -> ASUS ROG Strix 850W White Edition and as you can see it only has 3 PCIE cables, I am wondering what would be the best splitter setup if I want to connect a 6700XT.

    So 2x 3070 will be connected directly to mobo PCIEx16 and 1 3070 will be connected with a riser.

    Would it be possible to split the power for 1 3070 and assign it to the 6700XT? such as it will consume around 240W?

    PSU burned (posted couple of days ago) due to 6pin accepting 3-8 pin

    So confirmed. I made a mistake but what boggles me is that it fitted exactly. I plugged it kind of sideway view from the card (riser connected to card) so I did not notice the extra pins was in.

    Shop won't replace due to physical damage but I think they are out of stock.

    GPUs were okay. All systems go.
