    So I'm planning to start mining with my 2070 Super, I plan to mine with it for a good few 2/3 months and then maybe get another card and mine with both.

    As a starter, is there anything I should know off the bat? Is using nicehash miner to mine worth the % trade off? Any other common questions/tricks beginners should know?

    My power bills are quite low so you don't have anything to worry about, as I live in a 3rd world country.

    Older GPUs are still viable?

    Are there any older GPUs that I can use? If so, will that be helpful or would it not be cost-effective?

    I don't have any equipment bought yet since I'm living on paycheck to paycheck. Is this a good start? My goal is to just get the hang of it and learn first-hand how to manage the cables etc.

    6800XT HiveOS support?

    I'm pretty sure this has been posted a lot of times before as I've searched on google and came out with a lot of results but I just wanted to know if HiveOS officially updated their OS for 6800XT because I tried to put my 6800XT on my rig that has a 3070 and 5700xt but it wouldn't boot up, I even flashed beta version of the OS and tried running just the single 6800XT but it didn't work at all. As soon as I unplug the 6800XT the other cards would start working again. Thank you

    How can I set voltage within TeamRedMiner?

    I've tried setting voltage in MSI Afterburner, but TRM is not respecting those values. It does apply for clock speed and fan speed though. Can I set the voltage in TeamRedMiner itself?

    AMD radeon software has never launched for me either. I'm running Windows.

    Hey all,

    So today, I added a new rig (7 in total) and decided to recrunch the electric cost numbers.

    Currently mining ETH at 3.8GHs with a mix of mostly 3070s, 3090s and 1660s.

    My daily electric cost (from only the mining) is just shy of £35 / $50

    My monthly electric bill is now a whopping £1050 or $1500.

    These are exact figures, based on the full rigs (GPUS + CPU + ALL FANS etc)

    My previous self audit in April 2021 was around £700 for electric, but its grown quite a bit since then!

    I know its not the most interesting post, but I was just amazing that I have passed the £1000 a month electric bill mark. Before mining, my electric and gas was £49 a month (I live alone).

    I am waiting for police to knock on the door to see if I am growing weed!

    M.2 to PCIE slot adapter for 1050ti

    I've got an unused laptop sitting around along with a 1050ti and was wondering if I could pair the two for mining. I've seen adaptors that feed from molex power, does anyone else have experience with setups like these?

    Weighing the pros and cons of both. Thinking of trading my 3070 TI for a non-LHR 3070. 3070 TI is obviously limited, however can still be used with Raven, Ergo, etc. Resale is likely higher on the TI and will be better equipped after Eth 2.0. Thoughts? Thanks

    6800 is cooler and more energy efficient than 3070

    I can run 117w on rx 6800 @ 62mh vs 3070 60mh @ 130w. Has AMD beat nvidia in terms of engineering?

    Need assistance with server PSU setup

    I have an atx psu powering the cpu, mobo and 2.5" ssd. When powering on, things work as intended and I can boot into Windows (without gpus)

    If I power on the server psu which powers 6 risers and 6 gpus, then power on my atx psu, I get no display through the integrated graphics on my asus z270p mobo

    I've validated in BIOS that igfx is enabled and is the default display. Am i missing something?

    Guys why does my mining rig randomly shut off?

    It's been mining for 2 days and now poof it's turned off and I'm not home to fix it, this so frustrating what could be the cause of this?

    They are all running at optimal temperature, one is on a riser and the other two is on the mobo.

    It's a 2 x 2060 And one 1660 super on a 850psu

    I assassinated my wallet and got a 3070ti for myself. I wonder if it is worth to farm on that GPU while I am at work or smt.

    Also, 3070ti need OC to make a good profit or it's clock base is good enough? Thx

    I have a spare Dell box I use to run 1 card separate from my rigs. This is the "flash the BIOS / tune cards" rig.

    Got a 5700xt that mines just fine with TeamRedMiner - until the "turn screen off" setting kicks in. For fun I timed it with my stopwatch and reviewed my logs. Obviously all over power save modes (disk, sleep, hibernation) are disabled.

    But I'll be damned - every time that screen goes to "sleep" with or without a monitor or HDMI dongle plugged it it hard locks.

    Anyone have any thoughts? Not even overclocking yet.

    How can I power a pcie riser and a 3070 with the same 8pin?

    The 3080 is too loud due to fans running at 100% and I'm worried about the longevity of the card so I'm switching from 3080+3060 ti to 2x 3070 + 3060 ti.

    My motherboard has 2 pcie x16/x4 slot, those are used up with the existing gpu, I need to use a pcie x1 slot to get that 3rd gpu in.

    I see people saying to don't use SATA due to fire hazard, that means this is a no no right?

    My PSU comes with 3 PCIE power ports daisy chained so there's 6 ports. The 3060 ti is the founders edition so I do have 1 free port that I can use on a riser that takes 6 pins but is it safe to do that?
