Alameda Research stake boosts Adamant Vault TVL over 500 MILLION

    Posted: 02 Jul 2021 02:04 PM PDT

This morning Alameda Research staked around $173 million at Adamant Finance in low risk ETH paired vaults.

See my tweet thread here for a short explainer.

With Adamant's unique structure 30% of the profits from these vaults will be distributed to ADDY stakers.

Alameda's billion dollar portfolio investing in Adamant is a major sign of support and trust on the protocol, and comes soon after changes from a Certik Audit were published to Adamant's GitHub.

Legislators want to shut crypto down

Democrat Rep. Brad Sherman wants to shut Bitcoin down

Brad Sherman, Representative for California's 30th congressional district, "would rather people make 'bets' in equity markets or the California lottery" than invest in crypto.

He called for nothing less than to shut Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies down. They are "highly volatile" and "have the political support of patriotic anarchists who are rooting for tax evasion. I hope we shut it down," he said.

Beware “Auditing” Services for new and low market cap tokens. Hacken, Certik, Haechi Audit. All have confirmed they do not monitor changes to uploaded code!!!

    Posted: 02 Jul 2021 02:58 PM PDT

Everyone wants to feel safe with their funds when investing in new low market cap tokens. So we've seen a huge influx of these "Auditing" services that review tokens, dApps, and smart contract code. Seems like a good deal right?…. Wrong.

These services only review the code sent to them from the developers. They'll "review" the code once, take their free tokens and then allow the developers to slap a label on the dApp. This is all these auditing services provide and nothing more.

As we've seen with BunnyPancake, Merlin, (both Haechi Audit) and many more. This does not stop developers from uploading custom code after auditing and rugpulling investors.

I really wanted to make this post for new investors in the dApp space. Just because a token has been audited doesn't mean it's safe whatsoever. I've personally confirmed with representatives of these services that they do no monitor changes uploaded. (Unfortunately they will not tell you this important fact anywhere on their site for obvious reasons.)

In conclusion, DYOR! Just because a token has multiple audits doesn't mean it's safe. Only invest what you're willing to lose in low market cap tokens!

ETH following projections - Happy motoring this weekend :-)

Recent trend reversal is within the boundaries I posted last week.

    https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoMarkets/comments/o9m002/with_a_1400eur_support_line_60_down_from_peak_the/

This week ( below ) . you can see it will remain under the green hatched line. Around the 14th of July should be the final resistance ( EST 1500 EUR/ 1774 USD ). If it dips beneath that between now and then obviously its a buy signal. Then in the latter half of July should be steady gains running until October. And then hopefully we run back to April peak and beyond. April 2022 should see a price of in or around EUR 4000 / 4734 USD
