comments on this doge ltc relationship please

    Posted: 17 Jun 2021 08:48 PM PDT

I recently heard an 'expert' say that linking doge to ltc was a huge benefit to doge but that it has not redounded well to ltc itself.

I understand that ltc miners get paid in doge as a kind of bonus, which is good for them, but is it true that the popularity of doge has actually diminished LTC?

My first thought upon hearing this is that, well ltc is accepted as payment by a LOT of online vendors, my business' website, for instance, through shopify, but also a ton of other platforms....but then I realized that Doge itself is now gaining mainstream acceptance, some nba team game tickets and other places too.

Yes, accepting both doge and ltc for payment shouldn't diminish ltc, but if doge is more widely held and used.....it might could constructively do so, i suppose.

I honestly don't know. I don't own doge, and don't plan to, and do own ltc and expect to acquire more, but I am very interested to read arguments for and against the proposition that LTC has been diminished by its association with doge ( I think I heard charlie lee say that doge actually protects ltc now, whereas initially ltc protected doge, so that seems like a benefit if true).

thanks for thoughtful and well reasoned replies.

Bought Litecoin For The Low Fees, But Now I Need To Know Everything...

    Posted: 17 Jun 2021 08:03 PM PDT

So I exchanged my HNT of LTC, because I wanted to spend with lower fees, but since my money went down in the time I let it sit there, it has gone down, so guess who's about to learn about hodling because they decided to? Any good tips for people who are newer to LTC trading? I don't know why it's said, but I guess 'CHICKUN ARISE!'

Can you send addresses within the same LiteCoin core client?

Like the title suggests. I was just curious, but could I create different address's in my litecoin core and send money in between them?

    is this practically possible, please?

    Posted: 17 Jun 2021 08:37 PM PDT

I was wondering if it is possible to create a wallet that contains a quantity X of A token, and then to give fractional ownership of the whole to any number of parties.

Let's say create a wallet containing 10LTC and then issue ownership rights in .5LTC quantities to 20 different people.

I want for each of the recipients to be able to pull out any quantity up to .5LTC, in any number of transactions, but no more than .5LTC.

I expect it is possible to do this through the use of some kind of smart contract on the Ehterium chain so is there any off the shelf product i can actually use (not theoretically, some day in future, and also not yeah but you just have to write some elaborate program) use to do this, please?

I am agnostic as to crypto token but would like to do it using ltc.

thanks for any interesting and accurate answers.

Please help me get my LTC back :(

    Posted: 17 Jun 2021 07:26 PM PDT

Before anyone calls me stupid for not double checking the address was correct I know, I've sent and received that many crypto transactions and never had a problem until now, basically I was withdrawing from a crypto casino and copied my LTC address from coinbase, pasted it into the casino and withdrew... did not get the deposit email you normally get from coinbase and after 40 mins knew something was wrong, checked both addresses and the address is different to my coinbase one. I literally copy and pasted from coinbase to the site. I've also done Windows key + V to see my clipboard history and the address I copied was the right one so no idea what's happened.

The address it went to: M9G71LCayeXmwGQXSfkPavYafzvsi2L9wJ

    My actual coinbase address: MFaa4qrksA8EWX9LMBefe2Ppjm4zBy8Dda

Any help much appreciated. Thank you :(

Update: I emailed coinbase, they just replied really quickly saying that address ain't linked to my account. Any help appreciated.
