- No Better way to send remittances than using BCH
- Spend and Replace: Paid for Nvidia Shield using Bitcoin Cash. Replaced the spent amount & bought 50% more BCH. I recommend BCH supporters to use BCH every day. Pay your relatives & friends. Eg. if merchant doesn't accept BCH, you may ask your friend to pay with fiat & you pay your friend in BCH”

Posted: 21 Jun 2021 08:19 PM PDT Strike, the startup building a bitcoin-based payment system in El Salvador, is phasing out its use of Tether's USDT stablecoin as a U.S. dollar substitute, CEO Jack Mallers said. "Tether is no longer a part of anything". "We built tether into Strike which was the equivalent of the Chase bank account in America and at least gave us some MVP basic functionality," Strike is now integrating with the country's top five banks and two biggest cashpoint distributors, Mallers told McCormack. These are stores where people can exchange physical cash for a balance on a mobile app or vice versa. The integrations would presumably remove the need for USDT to serve as an ersatz greenback because Strike would be able to hold customers' balances at the banks. It would also give them more places to cash out those balances for the paper stuff. Source: https://www.coindesk.com/strike-usdt-tether-jack-mallers-el-salvador-bitcoin [link] [comments]

Lurker and possible newcomer to BCH Posted: 21 Jun 2021 11:31 AM PDT New crypto convert been loading heavily on BTC, ETH, and SOL, ALGO. I'd l'm intrigued by BCH and for me it would be the utility of using it. So... where can I actually use BCH here in the USA? And the other question is if one is to easily spend BCH as a method of payment then it is probably in the best interest for the price of BCH to remain stable and not appreciate? How does one resolve this apparent contradiction of holding BCH as an asset and as a currency of exchange? [link] [comments]

Posted: 21 Jun 2021 07:23 AM PDT It is kind of amazing how markets and P2P crowds came up with a completely surprising and shocking answer in form of cryptocurrencies, which was completely improbable before. Satoshi's publication was during the Great Financial Crisis of 2008 but I cannot imagine that even he would have been able to foresee the absurd concept that negative interest rates are. I don't see myself stashing assets under my mattresses. While cryptocurrencies seem to be perfectly suited to the task, actually much better than gold, which was supposed to play the role. But if you take cryptocurrency into account, what platforms do you usually use to have high passive income? I heard about all sorts of platforms for earning BTC, ETH & USDT like Nexo, BlockFi, Midas.Investments, Crypto.com, etc. Have you ever used these platforms? What platforms would you personally recommend? [link] [comments]
