A BCH-backed stablecoin would be so much better than the trusted UDST/USDH model

    Posted: 02 Jun 2021 02:05 AM PDT

A BCH backed stablecoin would be easily auditable by anyone as BCH is a public ledger. It would be symbiotic with BCH: To issue more stablecoins you'd need to lock up more Bitcoin Cash, this is contrary to the more parasitic nature of trusted stablecoins.

How I envision it would work is with the Anyhedge protocol & PMv3. A contract would allow users to send BCH to it an issue tokens in return. The contract then would hedge the amount and a service would keep renewing the contract at expiration or liquidation so the total value in the contract is stable in USD. The user would be able to send back his BCH-backed stablecoins and return the equialent amount in value in BCH (possibly minus contract/service fees).

Stablecoins have real utility but the fact that it's fully trusted & and siphons value away from the underlying crypto.

BCH backed stablecoins would be a paradigm shift- I can't wait for them to be possible.

Bch is the real bitcoin - all that really matters is usability - stop over complicating it

On chain transactions should be the end goal for all crypto CURRENCIES. Doing whatever is necessary to make that happen is a fundamental that is lost in so many different projects. Bitcoin cash has developers that actually are willing to change what is necessary (block size) to make this a reality.

Think about that for a second - there are other projects that refused to do the same thing and I can promise you that their decision didn't have the end user in mind.

Transaction fees are something you should not even consider when spending money - anybody who says otherwise is just anti user.

Good news everyone, DEFI for Bitcoin Cash is here! You can now test doing Swaps and creating liquidity pools on Smart Bitcoin Cash!

    Posted: 01 Jun 2021 11:07 AM PDT

First, we want to thank all the members of the community that answered our request for feedback. We started with a group of ideas and because of your help, we now have a clear path for our community project.

The Swap contract is now ready! Visit koingfu.com to start testing swaps and liquidity pools on the Smart Bitcoin Cash test-net.

Working with smart contracts made necessary a fully working block explorer to be available, so we ported one from Ethereum. We hope it will be useful to other smart contract developers. You can find our explorer at: explorer.koingfu.com

We are running a Smart Bitcoin Cash node that you can use on Metamask at testnode.koingfu.com We will be adding a new node once main-net becomes available in a few days.

The trading community at koingfu.com is growing fast and the inclusion of the contracts will help accelerate things. If you haven't yet, you can sign up with one click to become part of the discussion and benefit from upcoming token airdrops. The first airdrop will be the "Ki" token, that powers the governance of our online community and our smart bitcoin cash contracts.

We now have a path to becoming sustainable by leveraging community growth and DEFI on Smart Bitcoin Cash. Our next challenge is to work on a security framework and get things ready to move into Smart Bitcoin Cash main-net. If you can, consider supporting our work by making a donation to our Flipstarter http://flipstarter.koingfu.com , with your help we will be able to SECURELY bring all these tools into Smart Bitcoin Cash.

We can only do this with your support.

    Thank you,The KoingFu.com team

    Building Production BCH Apps

    Posted: 01 Jun 2021 11:45 AM PDT

Many developers who try to use FullStack.cash to build Bitcoin Cash apps have struggled with the use of JSON Web Tokens (JWT) to unlock increased rate limits. If you want to build a production-ready app using our cloud REST API, then you'll need a JWT token to unlock increased rate limits. This video shows the different ways to obtain and use a JWT token:

Recommendations on a good iOS wallet?

    Posted: 01 Jun 2021 05:15 PM PDT

Nothing from bitcoin.org please. Ive seen the 5 they show and not satisfied with any of them. Unstoppable not really liking that they hold your funds until 3 transactions are confirmed. Some of the others dont tell you what the fee options are. Just fast medium or slow type shit. I want to see the amount of the fee and decide myself. Bluewallet is really nice but they dont rotate the addresses so not sure how they consider it privacy based when you can see IPs and same address all the time.

Switching from android to iOS I dont want to have two separate phones just so I can have bitcoin on a mobile app as well. Mycellium android is great but their iOS is shitty and limited.

This community needs to be wayyyy less toxic to Core supporters

    Posted: 01 Jun 2021 01:18 PM PDT

I have only recently gotten into bitcoin cash, and have started to realize that big blocks are actually a pretty good scaling solution. However, I only looked more into this now, because anytime I'd talk to Cash people, they'd call me a coretard, or if I slightly defended lightning they would accuse me of being apart of a cult.

This toxicity turned me way off from ever even touching bitcoin cash (until now), and I'm sure its done the same for many. If you want bitcoin cash to grow, and for more people to switch from core, maybe instead of referring to those people as coretards, actually defend cash, and talk about its merits, instead of just insulting them.
