    There are many changes to Ethereum like the amazing tech being developed to address transactions, electricity, decentralization, etc.

    But also the economics that drive the blockchain.

    1. EIP-1559 addresses inflation and makes choosing fees for transactions easier.

    That alone will be a supply shock similar to a Bitcoin halving. Where inflation drops. We know how that affects BTC.

    What is less discussed is the following:

    A large portion of Rewards will transition from ETH Miners to ETH Owners. We don't have BTC as an example for the effect of that transition.

    I'm curious what are the best and worst case scenarios from that. Not price, because we can all deduce it's positive. However, what about the miners? Will enough incentive remain to keep the network secure between 1559 and ETH2 being fully operational?

    I've made a decent amount of magic money off of Dogecoin and wanted to take some of those profits and stake them in Ethereum. I was about to do it on Kraken because that's where I have my Doge but they have some kind of message for people living in the US saying I wont be able to trade on the Ethereum 2 network or something? I don't know enough about Crypto to understand what that message means so I decided to move the Ethereum to Coinbase and stake it there but now I'm on a waitlist or something?

    So I guess simply put, where is a good place to stake ethereum and how much does it matter? Thanks, excited to be on board.

    I have a little over 5 eth and was wondering If anyone here had any POV/ thoughts on how to get the most from it, though NoT FinAncIAL AdVicE

    I went a little overboard with NFTs and ENS domains so am trying to be a bit more conservative now lol

    I also ave about $13K across UNI, LINK, MATIC and a couple others as well for background, in case any answers recommend swapping for any of those or doubling down there.

    Help ! My coins are all stolen in a Trezor One Device!!

    Hi all, I suddenly lose around 1.3 BTC and 46 ETH in my Trezor One Wallet....

    Is any expert of professional of Trezor One expert here? I can share my coins with you if you can kindly help me to recover it T_T

    The story is , I have lost my trezor One device before and I recovered it at Jan 2021 with my recovery seed, the new Trezor one Device is purchased by Trezor official website.

    When I recovered the coins on Jan 2021, and I restored all the coins, and I have transferred the 0.2 BTC to someone on 8 Jan 2021. However, at the night of 14th Jan 2021, all my BTC and ETH are transferred to a new address, but the coins are still there without any transaction.

    I have kept my recovery seed secured and my trezor wallet are still able to use now

    and I wonder the following possibility,

    1. is Trezor may have 2 pins so different pins will go to different wallet? (Although I think its not possiblt T_T)

    3. Is any other possible way I can do now T_T? I know its almost impossible to get back my coins, but at least I want to know the reason of being stolen. What make me feel weird is that my online Binance wallet coins are still here but the coins in cold wallet are all being stolen...T_T

    If any expert or professional please help T_T its greatly appreciated!

    Advice

    I own very little ETH, about 1/2 of an ETH. I was notified today that I'm off the wait list and now able to stake my ETH for 6.0% APR. I've read that staking is mainly for people with 32 ETH and running nodes. Is it worth staking? I believe in ETH, but still there's some obvious skepticism being it's a cryptocurrency. Any help or advice is welcome. Thanks.

    Hello and thank you in advance. I just started my crypto investments last week. I have spent countless hours research the various coins and technology but now am unsure what to do. I currently own half of an ETH coin with plans to continue to purchase more over the years. Is it worth staking half a coin right now? Or should I wait until I accumulate more? Should I not stake at all? I do plan on holding my ETH for the long term. Any advice would be appreciated.

    ETH2 technical deep dive yellow paper / beige paper

    Hello,

    I want to learn more about the technical inner workings of ETH2.

    I have read the beacon chain and shard chain explanation on the Ethereum website. However, these explanations are not going deep enough IMO and leave some open questions.

    What I am looking for is something like an updated version of the Ethereum yellow paper or - even better - a beige paper.

    Is anyone aware of relevant up-to-date resources here?

    Has anybody invested in Grayscale Ethereum Trust?

    I know ultimately it would be best to invest in ethereum directly, but I am trying to gain exposure to crypto through an ira. This seems like the easiest way to go about it. I understand a self directed ira can be setup to invest in crypto, but the initial setup fee is quite high.

    Has anybody here had any experience with Grayscale Ethereum Trust? Other than the risk of the ethereum price going down are there other risk that I should be aware of? I did notice on the chart that ETHE did not match ETH exactly as it should as it is supposed to hold approximately 0.01 eth.

    I know there is a 2.5% fee built in however if you can hold ethereum in a tax free shelter, this should outweigh the fee.
