MCDC and the road to $1 - Locked liquidity and low mcap

    Posted: 08 Feb 2021 10:06 AM PST

    https://mcdcoin.finance/

https://team.finance/view-coin/0x8937041C8C52a78c25aa54051F6a9dAdA23D42A2?name=McDonaldsCoin&symbol=MCDC Proof of locked liquidity EDIT: we are now at $290k of liquidity pooled!

Gather round everyone, and let me tell you a story.

A story about our dear friend McDonaldsCoin (MCDC) MCDC is a young coin, it's been two and a half days since the presale began. Already we've accomplished so much in such a short time.

A: Uniswap listing activated. Presale contract has yet to exist. Bots immediately begin trading MCDC at over 10x the presale price. Hilarity, and also slight panic, ensues until we put a temporary halt on Uniswap activity

B: Presale has been deployed, then ended, and Uniswap trading has begun. All of us watch in awe as the coin travels up from $0.001 and reaches half of a cent, then blows through that and peaks at almost a full $0.01 in value. However, it abruptly dips down to less than half a cent again.

C: As momentum continues to build following recovery, we suddenly break through 1 cent and even past the pre-presale Uniswap bot price. Not much longer after that…

D: We're breaking 4 CENTS for the first time! And less than 24 hours into the coin's existence.

E: Despite a very tumultuous period, we NEVER ONCE dip below $0.02 and we eventually shake off the volatility… Only to be met by another abrupt dip down to $0.015. Notably, this point represents the "worst case" performance in recent history: A dip, but still maintaining a value of almost 15 times what the price began at, less than 48 hours prior.

F: After all of that, we climb all the way up above $0.04 for a second time. Almost immediately after, we shoot up to be worth more than a nickel for the first time. Terrifyingly, we then fall back down to less than $0.025, but we make a prompt recovery within minutes. Since that recovery, we have not once fallen below $0.04

G: We shoot to 17c in a day. The price drops, but we're still stable and higher than where we were a few days ago.

H: We now sit comfortably above 8 cents, with 400 holders and growing.

Just stop and think about how fucking insane all of this is. Pause for a moment, and look at the dips on the graph. Look how hilarious they all seem in hindsight, but also, think how terrifying they must have been in the moment. MCDC has 100x-ed the presale value in three and a half days. And the devs have managed to build trust to the point where many people are willing to accept HODLing as a legitimate strategy, once they buy in, just to see if this can actually be pulled off. The coin has strength, and it comes from our confidence in the fact that this coin WILL catch attention at some point. It's only a matter of when. And when it does, we're not gonna be able to stop the train even if we wanted to. I don't know about you, but I'm certainly gonna hold until then. We have a low mcap and limited supply as well, so we have a real chance to grow over $1. Join us on the road to the Dollar Menu.

A call for help in creating an analytical frame work for the analyze of crypto currencies and other related assets.

    Posted: 08 Feb 2021 10:35 PM PST

Cryptocurrencies were born on the internet as a desperate hope for our generation to change the world in the wake of disaster that was the 2008 financial crisis. The easy economic policies used to bail the United States and much of the world out of the deepest aspects of the regression were never stopped. Every time the GDP seems to dip they go back to the printer. The deflationary nature of bitcoin has made it the early front runner and it has settled into the asset class of a digital wealth store. The negative aspects of the coin are not affecting the choice price for the function it now fits with in this space. This illustrates why I am asking for help. I would like to begin the process of taking feed back from the community to establish the fundamentals of of analytics for this new asset classes. It is time we take control of how we share ideas. It is fucking bullshit that everyone quotes /R/WSB as saying crazy shit because they found a way to play the game.

    Fundamentals:

These should be measures that we can apply to a asset class niche, these will need to be established/they will develop as the market develops. Example, It does not make sense to compare the KW/H Per TRX of XRP to Bitcoins. They were created to fit different roles. When comparing XLM to XRP, then absolutely this should be a measure to talk about. These are two assets that are going to be used in large transactional amounts per day.

Here is a quick list of some ideas I have been thinking about, I believe that they can be used to help understand and eventually start to remove the FUD from the asset class:

    • KWHR/transaction -Value transacted on the blockchain a day. -Total value of DeFi available and applied on the blockchain. This should be a measure of credit so showing 30, 60 and 90 days.
    • Large loans: any long term balance. lock in bitcoin mortgage, You back the loan with bitcoin, if that fail to pay you get a home if they pay it off you can be paid in FIAT or USD provided by the mortgage broker. Value continues to rise in storage and earn FIAT or other crypto for interest. -Amount held by institutional investors, this should be broken up from corporate and municipal holders as they will have different risk appetites and speculation basis.

    Market Segmentation:

Not all crypto is created equal. There are some true shit coins and some meme coins that people love. Which is great and that is what is absolutely amazing about this space. It is accessible, I do not care if you have negative net worth because you were told education was the only way or if you are retired and need a fucking boat. I want to make sure we can create a knowledge base that is accessible for everyone that is willing to learn. A part of that is creating a frame work in which we can truly compare crytpos side by side in specific applications. This is something that is already very common in technology applications, but we now need to come up with a way to convey that to others in the context of the fundamentals. Screaming while you lick the window about how you only hold a single coin is fucking stupid. You are looking at the stock market in 1998 and you betting on fucking dell.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zhUnEg0he4A

This will be ugly, but we gotta do it.

-Money transfer -Store of wealth -Internet 3.0 (Utility network that has applications and other Utilities being built on it ?, Chime in you fucks) -Dedicated payment network -Decentralized security utility. -Decentralized business application support. -Decentralized information storage -Neat Idea

I expect these to change over time as certain sectors prove to be non-starters. Some might not be needed if a front runner gets so far ahead that they control the market, IE AMAZON. Bitcoin has this potential but I have a strong feeling human nature will naturally pick a few other coins in this same direction and has a historical presence in most cultures. SATS can be used but this is more about mob think.

So please let me know what you think, and lets start having conversations about how we can hopefully apply this type of thinking to the crytpo markets so that we can welcome new investors and hopefully find value for the average person before the bankers figure it out and set the language. Wake the fuck up.

Excuse my grammar, I will edit as I read

The Bitcoin Price in Words - Simple Web page created (for fun) to display the Bitcoin Price in Words

    Posted: 08 Feb 2021 10:32 PM PST

Bitcoin price in U.S. dollars continues to rise. This makes sense, because Bitcoin is the hardest money in the world, and the U.S. dollar is weak money.

Many people seem to be struggling to realize the price that Bitcoin is reaching in U.S. dollars. This will be even more difficult for them in a few months and years, as the price rises to see the Bitcoin market cap exceed that of gold.

A friend told me that reading aloud Bitcoin price was a good way to better realize what it means.

So I had fun creating a little Web page that displays the price of Bitcoin in words and that updates every 60 seconds automatically.

A good way to better realize what it means for the general public.

Feel free to take a look at it here: https://www.bitcoinpriceinwords.com/

If you have any ideas on how to make this little Web page more fun, please let me know. I will be happy to implement your ideas.
