I think LITECOIN is undervalued Posted: 30 Jan 2021 11:30 AM PST Litecoin has long been referenced as the little brother to ETH and BTC so it's never gotten it's fair share of attention There are great things about this coin including the low transfer fees, PayPal and other large companies allow transactions in LITE, and quicker transaction speeds than BTC. Also LITE HAS A $8 BILLION market cap compared to BTC $500 BILLION & ETH $122 BILLION in other words LITE has a lot of growth left ;) get in early 💎🤚🏼💎🤚🏼💎🤚🏼💎 [link] [comments] |

Posted: 30 Jan 2021 03:25 AM PST Hello everyone , I'm looking to dip my feet into the cryptocurrency pool. I've attended a small seminar just chit chatting about the basics of crypto and would like to know which type of wallet do you guys prefer to store your cryptocurrency in. I have bought 1 litecoin on Luno and plan on splitting it , half to HODL and half to trade with. I'm looking to put them each on a hot and cold wallet as they may seem to most appropriate. Perhaps the address of the HODL half can be printed on paper old fashion style? Do let me know the platform and programs that are available for optimum use, cheers! [link] [comments] |

Why are people waiting to buy until mimblewimble? Posted: 30 Jan 2021 05:32 AM PST Hey was just on some troll boxes in Discord and various other places and there's a huge sentiment of only selling LTC until mimblewimble in a few of them. I have been out of the trading community for some time but is there some legit technical reason people have here or is it just some attempt to lower the price before a pump or something? Media coverage of Litecoin, an open question for the community. Posted: 29 Jan 2021 02:17 PM PST Hello friends. I am throwing an open question here. No upvote/downvote wish, but a global reflexion. Do we lack media coverage? access to the general public? (like google news, the thing that any person can read in the morning in the metro or in front of their cafe, without going to very specific forums). When i tip "Litecoin" in google news : not many news (interresting or not !) I am thinking of the Top10 crypto which seems to me to each have an important media exposure specific to each: -Doge has his own community, very meme friendly, very young. -Bitcoin, the base -ethereum, a very active developer community -Polkadot, a very recent community still galvanized by the beginnings of a coin etc ... If you feel that our media coverage / public exposure is insufficient: Do you think it would be beneficial for our Litecoin to increase it a little and if so how? If you think we need to increase our media coverage: What would you do? This is not my area of training. I am surgeon, so I don't know ! I am asking for your opinion !
I am not speaking about giant move like GME or doge with an optionnal Elon musk... but just a simple media coverage with classical media ! The question is open both in substance and in form. [link] [comments] |
Do I need to download a wallet or can I just store the coins on coin base? Posted: 30 Jan 2021 05:27 AM PST Sorry for the noob question but I'm just starting out [link] [comments] |
Crypto Newbie. Thinking of using exchanging cold storage Doge to Litecoin. Posted: 30 Jan 2021 03:10 AM PST Hello everyone, please - and I do mean please excuse my ignorance in this question. Seven years ago I bought some Doge using a now defunct Paypal like system to get my hands on it, and gleefully used some of it to tip people and basically jerk around. I installed Dogecoin Core, downloaded the huge blockchain, let it sync, sent a few hundred here and there, and after a year forgot about it. It's not in an exchange, it's basically sitting in my password protected local wallet right now. Now of course with the craziness regarding Dogecoin the past 48 hours, I'm sitting on a cold storage wallet with a decent amount of suddenly actual value, in what I hope to someday convert to actual USD. I have no Doge anywhere on any exchange, it's just sitting in my cold storage wallet. Since Doge is still what I would consider an alt-ALT coin, basically very few actual places in the US will let me convert it into USD, I was running out of ideas about what to actually do with these coins. I figured it was best to get it out of Doge and into BTC or something that was more accepted on various places that would let me someday convert it to USD. Kind of like if I walked into my local bank with a huge ratty stack of Venezuelan Bolivars that suddenly started to increase in value. The local branch will probably turn me down or charge me a crazy fee to convert them to USD - that's what I'm finding in any US based exchange trying to deal with Doge. But if I could first find a bank to convert those Bolivars to British Pounds first, I'd have many more options to eventually convert those Pounds to USD. Or is my logic flawed? I downloaded Exodus Wallet and sent a bunch of Doge to it and tried it's Convert to Bitcoin and it told me my $50 of Doge will turn into $27 of Bitcoin. That seems pretty shitty. Converting $50 of Doge to LTC nets me $43 of LTC which seems much better. Note that I am not stuck using Exodus Wallet, I'm just using that as a quick and dirty example. I guess my question is, is LTC a great solution for my ultimate goal of converting Doge to USD? Please be frank. I know I'll take a hit on the conversion and I'm fine with that. I just don't want to get stuck converting Doge to some crypto that is equally difficult to someday convert into USD. I'm also perfectly fine sticking with my crypto converted to LTC for months or years if need be. Thank you for any tips and advice and please remember I'm a crypto newbie. I just don't want to be stuck in a position where I'm sitting on cold storage Doge and don't know how to actually turn it into USD. [link] [comments] |
Sent ltc from Binance to Coinbase btc address Posted: 29 Jan 2021 03:04 PM PST So I screwed up and sent litecoin from Binance to my coinbase bitcoin address. I have seen several threads about recovering it with the private keys. But coinbase doesn't have private keys. Is the litecoin gone? [link] [comments] |
