Posted: 01 Jan 2021 04:06 AM PST Rig in question - PSU - Coolermaster V1200 80+ Platinum RAM - Hyperx 3200C16 8x2GB CPU R7 3800X - mining monero @3.6GHz/0.95v undervolt 2x XFX Thicc III 5700XT 1x Gigabyte 5700XT OC 1x Sapphire Nitro 5700XT 1x Powercolor Red Dragon 5700XT 1x Powercolor Red Devil 5700XT In software (Phoenix Miner) GPUs is doing about 340MHz/700W. Wall power draw with GPU and CPU Mining is about 1100W. What i have is : Asus b250 Mining Expert 2x Corsair RM850x Gigabyte RTX 3080 Eagle OC with Thermal Pads on the back MSI RTX 2080 Duke OC 2x Sapphire RX 5700 XT ​ So my wiring looks like this https://preview.redd.it/apf0ws8diq861.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=236a2b37d94cdf424d06d82595b51f97f3d89a87 first PSU (850W) Powers: CPU + 24 Pin on the Motherboad 3x Molex Connectors 4x Risers, 2 x 2 each connected to a splitter on one dual 6+2 PCI-e cable 1x Dual PCI-e Cable to RTX 2080 1x Dual PCI-e Cable to RX 5700 xt ​ second PSU (850W) Powers: 24 Pin on the Motherboad 2x PCI-e Cable to RTX 3080 1x Dual PCI-e Cable to RX 5700 xt ​ So what happens is, depending on my settings in HiveOS either both Nvidias Crash at the same time, or all of them. When i run a stable config the system draws around 700W if i tweak the 3080 a little to high, it crashes as said either both rtx or all of them and power draw goes down to 200W or even 0W and the system seems to be "offline" in hiveos. What is the 3080 mining hashrate record? Posted: 31 Dec 2020 05:49 PM PST How far has the card been pushed in ETH? Has someone done like 130MH/s under some crazy cooling setup seeing as most cards get around 99MH/s with the proper over- and underclock (if the thermal throttling has been properly managed by the manufacturer or the end user). submitted by /u/TheLarryL [link] [comments]
