- “First we need consistent high fees” to force users to use LN. What a great system they have created...
- History: The last time ETH was that high, BCH was more than 10x the current price. BCH is irrationally undervalued.
- Flipstarter campaign for Signup is funded with 18 contributors!
- Kim Dotcom: "I'm bullish on BCH"
- 9 days left for the member.cash Flipstarter. All donations receive MEMBER tokens and version 6 will be named after the largest contributor!
- Used the bitcoin.com app for the first time a few weeks ago, today I'm ON IT. This is crazy, thank you r/btc!
- If you are wondering what a purchased Bitcoin troll account looks like here is ANOTHER great example. 11 year old account, never mentions Bitcoin, then one day (2 years ago) starts non-stop trolling BCH and posting pro-Blockstream propaganda.
- People who didn't understand Bitcoin in 2013 still don't understand it today. They just jumped on the "number go up" bandwagon.
- open question to Jihan
- ETH is great, but until people realize that it’s not meant to be used as currency, it will remain congested and non-currency use-cases will always displace the currency ones. It is meant for computing contracts and those shall be optimized. BTC is neither and is useless. BCH is 100% currency 1st.
- Bitcoin Cash is decentralized, borderless and literally the BEST form of money in the world! Team Ryver is Spreading BCH from Venezuela to Asia.
- If you think Lightning Network sucks while using it on a desktop consider that using it on a mobile phone is a much worst nightmare!
- Why are nearly all posts in this sub about how bad BTC is?
- Peter R. Rizun: "The Lightning Network (LN) is semi-custodial banking. The degree of custodianship is proportional to the fee required to escape from a non-cooperative channel. If that fee is on the same order of magnitude as your channel balance, LN is effectively full-custodial banking."
- Unfortunately, Bitcoin has turned into a pyramid scheme and that is why I no longer feel comfortable pitching Bitcoin to anyone anymore. Fortunately, I can still share with good conscience and integrity how Bitcoin Cash works and why this new technology is so revolutionary.

Posted: 28 Dec 2020 12:43 AM PST by all matters of respect, why did Bitmain do fund BTC "development" up to this years end ? ... why did it take such long to realize funding betrayers ? I do remember BCH in the early days was flamed to be a "Bitmain Coin", but all honest people should have gotten now, WE (many of us) tried to preserve Satoshis Idea of "Bitcoin" as a free uncensorable decentralized Peer To Peer (P2P) CURRENCY of global SCALE, secured by economic incentives and PoW aka HIS blockchain, under the actual ticker symbol "BCH", not mentioned in whitepaper . together we stand, devided we fall 谢谢 [link] [comments]

Posted: 27 Dec 2020 03:33 PM PST Lightning Network requires users to run a full node and an always-on internet connection to make payments somehow possible. Now consider how such a system works on mobile phones that often get offline due to poor reception or a dead battery. Probably the Blockstream Core solution would be to use your phone to connect back to your desktop full node, thus needing to open some ports and pay notice of your router IP (that is mostly not a fixed IP!). Consider the security risks and try to explain this to everyday users. Lightning Network is the biggest clusterfuck in crypto. Core only way out is custodial wallets, so is important to keep reminding people "Not your keys, not your coins". Bitcoin Cash is like having a time machine so that you can go back and buy cheap REAL Bitcoin before anyone else. edit: lol, 10 seconds after posting for my first downvotes. Blockstream puppets are constantly online trying to control what gets to the front page. I hope they are being paid minimum wage on BTC so they go down with the ship. [link] [comments]
Why are nearly all posts in this sub about how bad BTC is? Posted: 28 Dec 2020 02:27 AM PST I can understand that many people see BCH as an upgrade of BTC and this is fine. But do we really have to consistently talk badly about BTC? Showing facts is one thing but confusing new people is not okay. Why can't we just accept that there are people with different opinions without going crazy about it? [link] [comments]

Three reasons why UTXO model will overtake Account model in the long run Posted: 27 Dec 2020 01:35 PM PST Although the Account model is more developer friendly, end-user experience for UTXO model is superior to Account model in pretty much every way possible. Here's why:

Just gave $2 of Bitcoin Cash to my friend Posted: 27 Dec 2020 10:56 AM PST He is invested in Bitcoin Core, so I gave him $2 using the Bitcoin.com shareable link. He said he'd download the wallet app later and claim the money. Bitcoin Cash is amazing, and I wouldn't be surprised if we hit $3,000 this time next year! [link] [comments]
