| Posted: 13 Nov 2020 07:32 AM PST Good Morning, I've tried following the instructions by renaming my old wallet created 3MAR2014. It's a 64kb file. I had a passphrase on it. I renamed the litecoin wallet.dat into wallet.dat and replaced it under C:\AppData\Roaming\Litecoin\wallets I loaded the application. It rescans....When it's done it shows 0 LTC. I recall having at least 1+ LTC because I spent 8+ months or so 24hrs mining looong time ago. the website that was mining was give me ltc and learned it changed to give me coins. I thought I backed up the wallet correctly in 2014 by grabbing the .dat file. It appears I did not. The litecoin core shows its up to date, HD key generation is disabled, wallet is encrypted and is unlocked after trying the passphrase. I don't remember if I did use litecoin core back then...I'm not sure what wallet software does it matter? Thanks for all the help. [link] [comments]  | ||
