- Very very new to this whole mining thing so go easy, but would a build like this be profitable and would I need to run some crazy power/cooling set ups? And what should I look into mining?

Posted: 12 Nov 2020 07:00 PM PST I am mining UBQ just to get a feel of mining before I get a rig and I wanted to know if there was a way besides windows task scheduler (launches bat with error PHOENIX-MINER not found) that I can have my miner start when my PC is idle for 5 mins. Any Reliable PCIE splitters (won't start a fire)? Posted: 12 Nov 2020 09:38 AM PST I've recently been upgrading my rigs and realized that I ran out of PCIE connectors. I know you can add more connectors using splitters but every splitter I come across always has the classic "it started smoking/flaming" reviews. Since I am crazy paranoid about burning my house down I want to be as safe as possible. Does anybody have any reliable sources for splitters? Thanks. [link] [comments] |
