Will Eth 2.0 have a unique price? Posted: 27 Nov 2020 04:02 PM PST What's up guys, I'm trying to figure out if it is worth locking down 32 of my Eth for 2.0. My question is, will Eth 2.0 have a unique value in other words are we purchasing something as a presale similar to what it was like creating a Dash masternode back in the day? [link] [comments] | ||

If the whole point of decentralization is to not rely on a 3rd party, don't dApps contradict itself? Posted: 27 Nov 2020 08:00 AM PST I am new to smart contracts and dApps in general and I'm trying to wrap my mind around the decentralization concept. If I want to interact with a smart contract I would have to spin up my own node or interact through a third party's using their rest API. It would be impractical for each user to create their own so they would most likely use the third party one. But isn't the whole concept of decentralized apps is to not depend on someone else?
