How on earth Tether is not absolutely condemned by the crypto community?! Posted: 09 Nov 2020 12:37 PM PST It is owned by a god damn centralized entity. How on earth do we know that they have the amount of USD that they state? What if they get investigated by FBI or someone, they find and charge them for fraud?! What happens to all people holding Tether? Some will manage to exchange it back to ETH or whatever, but most won't and lose everything. How on earth it is not totally condemned by everyone?! Getting started with Solidity - First DApp? Posted: 09 Nov 2020 03:03 PM PST Hey, i am currently doing an ethereum-blockchain course at university and it's pretty interesting. We're supposed to implement a DApp now and we're allowed to think about a project on our own. I wonder what would be a cool idea to get started with Solidity. I am kinda lost on what can be done and what might be too hard for a beginner. We don't really need to reinvent the wheel or do something that hasn't be done before. Do you guys have any recommendations on what might a cool first project to work on? We were thinking about a decentralized voting / polling application but maybe there are other cool and interesting ideas. Appreciate any help [link] [comments]

Whats the deal with the 32 euth? is this life changing? Posted: 09 Nov 2020 07:05 PM PST I am new to crypto but if you had the ability to get 32 euth before price goes up, is that worth it? Is getting into the mining side worth it as a newbie? THoughts? [link] [comments]
Which web wallet do you use to interact with smart contracts? Posted: 09 Nov 2020 09:11 AM PST Hey everyone! It would be amazing if you could help Sourcify by sharing which (open-source) web wallet you use most to interact with smart contracts (e.g. in order to use DeFi apps, buy NFTs, ENS domains or play games etc.). Please comment below! Why am I asking? We're currently investigating which wallets to consider for a Proof-of-Concept to display stuff like a) has the contract been verified and b) what does this contract interaction mean (e.g. by displaying the NatSpec) into web wallets to enable a more aware and safe UX for smart contract interactions. Thanks a bunch in advance! --- More about the project: Sourcify is an initiative which aims to make interacting with smart contracts on the blockchain safer and more transparent for users. To achieve this goal, Sourcify supports several efforts to foster adoption of open-source source verification, metadata files and NatSpec comments. At its core, Sourcify currently maintains

Get Compensated for running your Ethereum Node Posted: 09 Nov 2020 01:46 PM PST Strongblock is currently incentivising over 100 Ethereum nodes. By owning just 10 Strong you can register your node and be compensated in strong and more than cover your costs of running the nodes. Head over to strongblock.io to find out more. Can I get help with this question? Posted: 09 Nov 2020 11:07 AM PST I would like to know if a coin can be made that loses value over time. For example, you receive a payment of 100 tokens to your wallet today but tomorrow your wallet only contains 90 tokens. Considering that ethereum is turing complete, it's definitely possible but does such a thing exist, at what layer should it be implemented, can it have compatibility with other token types? Thank you for answering! [link] [comments]
